PS4.5 /NEO
It's been know for quite a while now that a new updated version of the Ps4 is coming sometime this year or early 2017. It's kind of dick move for Sony to release it and date the PS4 like that after just 3 years,especially for the people who just bought it, In the other hand it'll give more power to the developers to work with and hopefuly do better games.From what i've heard, there won't be exclusives for this new console, instead, starting in October, every game released for the PS4 will have two modes a basic one and a NEO one, the NEO mode will have better frame rate, graphics and maybe even some extra elements the PS4 is not able to handle.So yeah,what do you think about it?Do you think the PS4 and the NEO can co-exist or will the NEO render the PS4 outdated?

This seems a bit suspicious. Wouldn't it be up to the developers whether they want to support both or not? Framerate locks are especially common these days.
According to Sony,they don't want to create an split fan-base, they want the players in both platforms to get the same games so the NEO won't kill the basic PS4.They make it seem like a noble thing but all they want is to keep the basic PS4 alive to retain the group of people who won't buy another console just for a few graphical improvements
