What Happened on the Best Day of Your Life (So far)?
I asked this question in the answer the one above you thread, and I thought it was interesting enough to turn into a thread! So, like the title says, recall the events that happened on the best day of your life so far! It could be a vacation day, and romantic venture with a loved one, a concert (Like @MetallicaRules said as the reply to my original post), or just anything! I love to hear people's happy stories!

June 24th, 2012, the second ever Metallica concert I went to. It was the second and final day of their Orion Music + More Festival, and after a day of admiring James Hetfield's vintage car collection and watching some amazing bands perform, including Avenged Sevenfold, it came down to the final act of the night, Metallica. I won tickets to the Snakepit, the small, enclosed area right in front of the stage, so I was less than 10 feet away and the band would walk around it all night.
Yeah, they were.
Although when he came out his dad was like: "I knew it!" (It was in a good way)
A girl I had a crush on spoke to me
There were many best days when I was 7 years old back in 1999. I got to kiss a girl who liked me. I watched the Disney movie, Tarzan, in the movie theaters and had my mind blown by its amazing music and animation. I also went many times to a beach that had an amusement park. And I'd always go home just as the sun was setting, listening to 90s pop music on the radio, drifting away to sleep. It was a magical year.
Well tbh I had many wonderful moments I treasure so hard to isolate one
Plus whenever people ask me this I always say the best day of my life is tomorrow. I try to programme my mentality to be positive and make everyday have potential to be the best to look forward to even better awesome moments not think they already past me.
But share my last awesome moment I liked last Thursday but give a bit of back story
There was this girl in my college who I had a crush on since I saw her play football with my college it was just a training match few weeks back she is only girl in my college who plays football and is training to be a fitness instructor.
I can tell within 5 mins of watching her play she had something magic about her. We never spoke but the magic in those feet convinced me on the pitch. She only said one thing to me during this match that I was an awesome player.
I always sit down at break at next table with my friends and look over at her she always laughing and smiling she is adorable she not a model but one of those people you seem is a nice and kind person a kind of rare aura.
I came in next two weeks she was gone missing seems she left the college I liked no one else but her, all other girls in my college hate sport just like vodka and smoking. I then got depressed coming in to college every break and going to football.
The college soccer coach asked me to play a tournament on Thursday for the college and saw her name down to she turned out to be only girl playing in tournament. I was so happy and delighted
This was my chance to impress her but we were playing 3 matches astro 10 min matches against some of best colleges around it was a 6 a side tournament they do this once every month. Then train for it the other weeks of the month
I showed up late to college on thursday, we were heading off to the tournament in half an hour. My teacher rarely lets me go to football at all and if I’m late she will not let me go.
So said f**k it she not ruining my day today so I headed straight to canteen had a sandwich and cup of tea and waited for the bus with my team avoided class.
Our 2 best players were missing and they tell me they always get hammered and never win even with them at these tournaments, I just needed one thing to go right today XD.
Then we get to tournament and my team tell me YES UR PLAYING UR SCORE 10 GOALS EVERY GAME RIGHT? I look over at girl I have crush on so weird seeing all guys in shorts with hairy legs not nice sight then look over at her legs are just shining like one of those female razor ads girls I was in awe..I was like DAYUM she runs over to me excited MARK we have you ur awesome footballer so happy ur playing with us today. I responded ur better
I was so nervous all this pressure they putting on me big difference between playing well in training and playing well against best colleges around under pressure at every decision you make one mistake you lose at this level.
Match 1
She gets the ball within first minute and flicks to me, I have the last defender at my back but my back is to goal as well holding him off, I was facing my own goal. I knew defender would expect me to just sprint right of him sideways toward goal and hit it right of him.
So within split second I did quick spin 360 with my body to get right way around and hit the ball left of him. He did not expect it so got past him then keeper sprinted out and saw spot so belted it weaker foot low bottom corner I scored.
My team went crazy so knew going to be good day I ended up scoring a hat trick(3 goals) and my crush scored twice so ended 5-2 to us
Match 2
Close game not many chances
Suddenly from near impossible angle I see a volley shot fly into the top corner from my team like a rocket.
I turn around in shock and delight to see my crush scored it. I seen most things on the internet BUT OH DAYUM that was by far the hottest thing I ever seen a girl do.
Like she scored that goal to seduce me……….. it worked XD
But they were killing us with chances tho and I still didn’t have a moment I can impress with in this match even though I made a few tackles and took few shots.
So took massive risk I ran back to my own goal and asked keeper to drop the ball to me. So I can take on the whole team, run whole pitch and score.
I sprinted to first guy through centre I double feinted right and pushed ball left skipping by him. I turned on my turbo sprint through centre so others could not catch me on left and right of the pitch, so only had one left blocking my path last defender blocking centre. I sprinted left then once his body shifted towards me, I flicked ball right past him. Just keeper left so I belted the ball in bottom corner and scored
We won 2-0
Match 3 final match
We played against best college in our city they won their first matches 8-0 and 6-0
They hammered my team last time and remember talking to guy in my college who was visiting a friend who was one the bench for them, played for them saying there best team in Ireland who have not lost match in years and they have this Hungarian guy who is best player he ever seen.
This match least nervous for because I saw them all smiling and laughing at each other saying how they are best and how many can we get each. The smugness made me kept pacing on the pitch for this match to kick off pissed me off so much couldn’t wait to use this angry against them saw Hungarian guy target spotted.
I was dying to get stuck in and give these guys a reality check. I looked at my team clenched my first and just said GET STUCK IN
The Hungarian guys sprints at my goal. So I sprint and took ball off him and gave him shoulder barge he looked so scared. I was his shadow when he had more them two touches, I take the ball with hard challenge he started to avoid the ball as knew I would be coming XD.
But They scored a flukey goal where deflected off few people and hit goalkeeper hand and went through legs our goal keeper never played in net so wasn’t great. Only few minutes left even this scoreline we should be proud of. 1-0 to them
But these arrogant a-holes were still going to beat us so I took risk last minute and hoped for the best.
So took ball off the Hungarian dude with hard challenge Sprinted past few and I was near goal. But my momentum I was at angle and speed where the shot I wanted to do curving the ball around last defender into bottom corner would make me fall over and miss.
So had crazy idea to get the balance right, I slowed down and let the Hungarian dude catch up, I went shoulder to shoulder with him I knew I was stronger and used his shoulder to lay against as a balance to curve my body in angle to curve the ball without falling over by laying against his shoulder as I shot.
I hit the ball as hard as could with my weaker foot while laying against his shoulder I curled ball around last defender and right into bottom corner of the net the keeper diving even missed it. rare moment u imagine the goal before u shoot and the ball does the exact thing you played in ur head.
The screams from the crowd watching and my team mates nearly made me deaf it was amazing but sweeter moment was looking at other team they were nearly crying like they taught they were invincible or something so funny
Match ended 1-1 and referee told us best game of the tournament
I ended the tournament with 5 goals in 3 games I was top scorer
we had 2 wins and 1 draw out of our 3 games
My crush had scored 3 she was amazing
My teammate told me they kept getting hammered then I came today really hit me in the feels
Then was moment I got a chance to talk to her afterward
This post so long already I feel bad for people reading this long post and adding more and more on right now will I finish it or lost everyone reading this already XD?

Holy crap your life should be a movie! That's the stuff of legends! And I totally know what you mean with people that have an "aura" about them. They just pop up once every often and make everyone feel ecstatic.
