Eh, I usually don't agree with IGN but I'll make an exception for this one.
I never expected to say it but I agree with IGN's rating on T… morehe Walking Dead: Michonne's finale. I think it could've been a lot better.
Okay, does someone have bleach, now...? Because that's the worst thing I've ever said in my life.
People's opinions often do not line up with popular opinion. Popular Opinion says said game is awesome IGN says no, Populous then says IGN sucks. IGN says game is great that Populous says is great, Populous thumps their chest saying IGN is so so right. Repeat.
It's all an opinion. They gave Valkyria Chronicles a great review back in 2008 despite the game wasn't popular, and was a flop, and being the game had little to no marketing in the west, means IGN at least had some credibility in 2008.
Personally IGN reviews if it's a AAA title expect the review not to be accurate. AAA games often have so much marketing that they bribe the living heck out of reviewers to say good things, or even threaten never provide future games for reviews to said company if they give it a bad review. In short a lot of companies bribe their way into the 80+% rating range. Gamespot's review of Halo 3 for example, the day the game was released the entire website including theme was HALO HALO HALO, and then you have to honestly expect Gamespot gave a none bias review of the game? Ya right their perfect score was likely "bought."

I was just making sure you knew I was agreeing with you, that's all.
Thanks, mate.

Well, I kinda agree with the score of the Michonne, but probably with diferrent reasoning. IGN usually have shitty justification behind low scores.
I haven't played 1979, so can't comment on that.
maybe not, coz it's at their main pc page
