  • why is fallout 4 on ps4 so glitchy i can hack robots from miles away by aiming at them with a sniper rifle and how people talk tome so calmly when a mini war is being fought behind them

  • Don't know about you, but my PS4 copy is good. Not perfect, but I haven't had anything like you described happen to me lol.

  • Eh, little late but here's my tip; always increase the speech skill till maximum, because it is needed for various situations. I didn't increase my speech skill in my first playthrough and I ended up dying over and over again cause of how many people were attacking me.

Oh good this thread got revived. Started my first play through of New Vegas, if you've got any tips that'd be nice, I've progressed till Primm for now.

  • yeah its just me every game ive owned ive managed to glitch even if patches tried to fix them lol and i dont think owning the pip-boy edition has anything to do with it as all it comes with is a pip-boy which dosent do much

  • It's Fallout 4 it's automatically glitchy. Main reason I was in protest that they disabled console commands on the new Survival mode. I gave up on Survival Mode the moment Curie became glitched and refused to go to any settlements i tried to assign her. Have to reset her companion quest then forward it to the end where she asks to follow you to reset her spawn location to fix that problem and it requires console commands.

I made a new character to just play again with, do a different play style. Decided to play as a female and make a funny Nate. Bloody hell I was pissing myself with laughter at the things you could do to a face.

  • Cool. It reminds me of Point Lookout from Fallout 3. The new enemies look pretty scary too.

  • So I finally figured out today that NONE of the Fallout 4 DLC has installed for me even though the Season Pass came with my copy of the game. All the minor updates have installed fine, but Automatron and Wasteland Workshop haven't. I bought a physical copy of the game with the Season Pass inside, but it had no code on it (aside from the back, which had the Fallout 3 code). Do I have to manually activate the Season Pass if I have a disk version of the game?

Erm.... Hate to break it to you mate. but....

Everyone gets that card... It's a promotion to tell you to BUY it. Everyone gets one with the game. No fallout 4 disc release came with a season pass code. I got one. Just said Season pass available to buy now. If there not code on it then you don't have the pass. If you got the standard game then nope. No season pass. Omg the price has gone up to like £50 now hahaha

The season pass is a code, not on the disc.If you never entered a code then no season pass, if theres no code on the card no season pass ngl thought it was pretty straight forward

  • I feel so bad though, the pass went from £30 / $30 to around £50 / $50 now. Damn thats as much as the game release. If you got it at 30 you didnt have to pay more but after march 31st it started retailing at 50

  • I hope you can bring other companions with you other than Nick.

Also, WHAT WAS THAT AT THE END!?

  • Yeah it said what it was on announcement with the Nick mission. Not sure how it'll start tho

Oh cool. Didn't know it was another detective case.

  • Eh not necessarily though, you don't HAVE to do the two cases in the game with Nick at all.

Those poor console player's souls when they realize they die in 1 hit from a lot of enemies with no auto save or saving in general without sleeping.

I tried survival 3 times on PC so far and eventually opted out of it. It's just pointlessly annoying for having no means of fast travel or auto saving.

There is a quick save mod for survival mode that users on the Nexus are literally trying to call Mod of the Year. Worst part about Survival mode is the saving system.

I download it, and another mod, that other mod adds fast travel between settlements you own, and settlements you own only. I'm waiting for like a Caravan Convoy, or Vertibird immersive fast travel option.

Example, say you build a fixed Vertidbird in a settlement, walk up to it click it, goes to map, then select location. You'd still have to go to the settlements that have one built, so it wouldn't be a true fast travel, just a MMO style teleportation gate like thing.

I played a run on Skyrim with fast travel disabled and even Skyrim has Cart Travel which is basically a pay 50 gold fast travel to only major cities.

Does anyone know how to get more supplies like oil and shit like that to build stuff? Like armor, mods for weapons, settlements etc. Anyone?? For consoles I mean, not PC... No console command for us...

  • Is it like the hard mode in the last fallout where you have food, water and sleep gages?

I actually stopped playing fallout because its so easy I dont where armour and use weak guns but im still overpowered, fucking boring.

  • You can buy shipments of lots of supplies from merchants around the Commonwealth. They're not cheap though. Try looking on the wiki for details.

I just checked the details out, looks good I might make a new game. I was dissappointed by how easy the game was, well more like seriously pissed at how easy it was.

Personally the best way to find rare materials is to collect weapons/armor that have upgrades. The more fancy they are the better they're worth scrapping. If you have the rank 2 scrap perk. Oil is so common in the wasteland that I honestly do not understand how anyone can run out. Heck the Super Duper Mart has a bunch of Mr Handy oil tanks right outside it's main entrance that respawn over time, provides a huge boost in oil supply for free, just by going to Super Duper Mart now and then to check.

Personally the rarest material in the game in my opinion is ballistic fiber. I've not come across a reliable supply of it without buying items off my Trader at Sanctuary, or off that Robot Lady at Goodneighbor.
