Real Question is. How many BF Fanboys down voted COD on purpose.
That being said I'm neither a COD or BF fan so.... It's that obvious. 10mil views on both.... you can imagine. =P
Press F to pay respect
Well, the new COD trailer recently hit 1.4 million dislikes.
RIPCoD
Both trailers broke records. Battlefield 1 is now the most liked trailer on YouTube and Infinite Warfare is the most disliked.
Well it is not like Activision did not know that the community was getting tired of ever more future crap. What I find shocking is that EA actually listened to their players. That's some end of the world shit there.
I don't understand the sudden hate for this cod, can someone explain?
And with no Premium Edition in sight so far, this truly is the end of it all.
Pretty much a lot of people have gotten sick of futuristic warfare (the last 4 CoD's are set in the future) and wanted them to bring the games back to the past. They didn't so peoples got mad. Also the only way to get the Modern Warfare Remaster would be to get Infinite Warfare so yeaahhh.
COOL. People hate COD, what's new exactly?
If Call of Duty was doing what Battlefield 1 was doing, I seriously would have loved their new game, but this futuristic warfare bullshit has overstayed it's welcome. Halo can pull that off, Ghost Recon can pull that off, Splinter Cell can pull that off and Borderlands can pull that off. You wanna know why? Because those games have been that way from the very beginning, and that's what made people love them. People loved CoD for the same reason they loved Medal of Honor. It was a realistic warfare experience taking place in WW1-WW2 times, and it was fun. This gimmicky future shit is not working for Call of Duty and it never will. Battlefield 1 however, looks fucking orgasmic.
And no announced DLC, no Premium Edition, no gimmicks and they seem to have been working on this game for a significant amount of time before release. EA is doing this unthinkable, world breaking shit now, there's no telling what's next. Sega might make 12 amazing Sonic games in a row, Bethesda might release a completed Elder Scrolls game at launch, The NX might be the best performing console in the universe, Ubisoft could make more Splinter Cell games, the possibilities are fucking endless. This is truly magic.

Epic. Looks like the battlefield team atleast listens to its fans. I'm definitely getting Battlefield. Since I am interested in the WW1 setting.
... Half-Life 3 is announced?
;-;
Battlefield 1 - 1.1m likes
CoD IW - 1.4m Dislikes
To be fair every new cod trailer gets attacked with downvotes for some reason. Im pretty bored with modern jetpack call of duty though and hope they return to making them shooters again.
The whole CoD community is deadset stupid though. Infinite Warfare would've been in development as soon as Ghosts finished up, even earlier. Any CoD player who has a memory knows that EVERYONE just cried about how CoD was so bland and repetitive at the time, so the companies change things, and now everyone cries it's too 'futuristic'. I admit, i'm not a fan of Advanced Warfare and Black Ops 3, but there is literally nothing Infinity Ward could've done for a game so far into development. Too many kids (and adults) too stupid to realise that, to be honest, I feel really sorry for Infinity Ward. They simply got the shit end of the stick at the complete wrong time. They try to redeem this FOR the players, by releasing a remastered CoD4...but nah, everyone's selfish so it ended up not making a difference.
People pull the 'you don't care about us' and 'we asked to go back to present/past times' when Infinity Ward simply could not have changed the game so far into development without major setbacks...the rest just dislike to follow the hate train.
Either way, i've still got my fingers crossed for Infinite Warfare...they may surprise us.
Well done to the BF devs though...they have the perfect opportunity here.
If Shenmue 3 can happen more than 10 years after 2, and Cloud can be in Smash Bros, anything truly is possible.
Shit, that'd definitely be the end.
True.
I'm still hoping for a current gen Splinter Cell, and recent developments kinda sparked a little hope of there possibly being something for Crash Bandicoot. Honestly, last year's E3 and all the unexepected games makes it so that it'll be hard to live it up to, imo. Well, Nintendo kinda killed whatever expectations I had for them. I mean, it's great we'll finally get to see a lot of Zelda U, but that's it. No Nintendo Direct, no NX, etc. It's just Zelda U.
I really need a new Splinter Cell. I finished the first 5 and I'm almost done with 6. God I love that franchise.
Nintendo has actually gotten me even more excited with their announcement that E3 will focus specifically on Zelda! I loved Tri-Force Heroes and Zelda U has me hyped, so if their entire conference is Zelda-based, think of the possibilities! They could announce like 3 other Zelda games!
Where's the dinosaur mode?
Splinter Cell is one my fvourite Ubisoft IPs and one of my favourite franchises in general, so I really do hope they make a new one. I hope they make make a new 2D or 3D Rayman too.
I actually hadn't thought of that. But that reminds that there were rumors of a new 3D Zelda game for the 3DS using the same engine as OOT3D and MM3D, made by Grezzo, by the same devs as those remasters and Tri-Force Heroes. It'd make sense to at least have 1 new game for the 25th anniversary. I suppose I just expected for them to finally show off the NX and games to go along with it. Then again, Zelda U technically is an NX as well.
This is hilarious. I remember seeing the announcement trailer for Battlefield 1 and breaking my shit laughing as they were doing the exact opposite of COD and everyone was loving them for it. They couldn't have timed that trailer release more perfectly.
Well they have been trying to dethrone cod since bf3. we'll see the sales numbers this fall, that's when we can actually say if cod is dead. (It wont be.)
Uhhh I dunno. A LOT MORE DO?
Friend: I like the futuristic Call of Duty
Me: Go play Halo, that's what future is for. I don't like it.
Friend: That's just because you suck at futuristic movement systems.
What does that even mean?
The kids pretty much say that.
P.S. I'm not saying your friend is a kid.
Extinct.
I am happy to see COD fans are mad that you have to pay for legacy edition just to get Modern warfare with that trashy other game, You guys bitch about a futuristic Cod and then buy it with overpriced DLC? Cod fan
deserve to be overcharge!
Activition was never worried about being greedy by selling incomplete games and overpriced developers because you guys have proven you buy any game with the title COD on it.Now they want you to buy this trashy game just to get a updated MW game.
I say don't buy either of these games. Here is a perfectly free shooter currently out there that is amazing. Fan made reboot that stays insanely true to the original game. A live it, it is even suitable for both First and Third Person lovers. I love how it isn't idiot proof either. It's old school gameplay and hit registration. In short you have to work to get your kills when it's a 1 vs 1 infantry fight.

And here is a perfectly awesome, adorable, fun, kick butt and nostalgic piece of wonder shooter. (though not free)
