Panic! At The Disco: Death Of A Bachelor
Loved every song in that album.
Fall Out Boy - Save Rock And Roll
Starset - Transmissions
Bastille - Bad Blood
Carolus Rex & Heroes Albums by Sabaton. Amount of really epic songs of real historical soldiers and battles in these two albums alone are just amazing. I could make a huge list of epic songs really from just these two albums. Their willingness to even honor friends and enemies alike is just wonderful.
Most of my favorite albums are newer since I didn't really listen to much music till a year or two ago, but anyways here they are:
Swan Songs by Hollywood Undead
Invincible by Deuce
American Tragedy by Hollywood Undead
Break the Frame by Whitney Peyton
The Darkness by Twiztid
These are my two favorite Sabaton albums.
I saw Alice Cooper live a few years ago. Hell of a show.
Heroes is also my favorite, with Night Witches and To Hell and Back being my favorite songs by Sabaton.
This is not only my favorite album, not only the greatest Metallica album, not only the greatest thrash album, but one of the greatest albums of all time. From the opening notes of Battery to the conclusion of Damage Inc. this album is just kickass all the way through. It is also Cliff Burton's last album with the band before his death.
First off, R.I.P. Nick Menza, he just died yesterday from a heart attack while performing on stage, but not even factoring that in, this is by far Megadeth's best work. It contains some of their fastest as well as most complex songs such as Holy Wars and Rust in Peace as well as stellar guitar work by Dave Mustaine. A truly underrated album that always seems to be blocked by Peace Sells and Countdown to Extinction.
This one was tough because it was so close between this, Number of the Beast, and Brave New World, but one song alone made me choose this one, and that was the 13 minute Rime of the Ancient Mariner. I could listen to that song all fucking day and never get tired of it. Along with it, there are some great tracks on here, such as Aces High and Flash of the Blade.
Free Bird, enough said.
When listening to this album, you can feel the amount of effort and emotion that went into the making of it. This album was made shortly after the death of the band's drummer The Rev and it contains some of their best work. The title track remains my favorite song by the band, the ballad So Far Away is an emotional tribute to The Rev, and it's a heavy fucking album.
After this, it was all down hill for Aerosmith, I really do see this as their last great album, but at least it's their best. Yeah their 70's albums like Toys in the Attic and Rocks are great, but there's just something about this album that puts it above those two. Yeah it can be a bit poppish at times, but the music on here is just so good that it makes it my favorite Aerosmith album.
Dark Side of the Moon - Yeah you see it everywhere but that's only because it's such an amazing and revolutionary album. Eclipse still leaves me starstruck after so many years.
Deja Vu - Some of the best 70s' folk rock you'll ever find and harmonies that rival the Beach Boys.
Jungle - I'm so glad TFTB decided to feature "Busy Earnin" because this album is a modern masterpiece.
Highway 61 Revisited - Simply a juggernaut of an LP.
Blue neighborhood by troye Sivan
Other peoples heartache by Bastille
Bad blood by bastille
Very good shows. Seen him twice. Once solo, once with Rob Zombie.
For me it's Life Time At War, Hearts of Iron, Soldier of 3 Armies.
Soldier of 3 Armies is about Lauri Torni. Who as a single soldier/officer has one heck of a story. He ended up fighting in the Finnish Army became highly decorated, when Finland dropped out of the war he found himself within a few months after joining the German Army which he later earned the Iron Cross for Bravery. He surrendered to the Allies, escaped and became a fugitive. Being Finnish and joining the German Army while Finland at the time was neutral was quite frond upon. he was running from pretty much everyone by the time. He was able to successfully smuggle himself into the United States, in which he eventually joined the US Army and changed his name. He then worked his way up from a NCO and became an officer in the Green Berets. He then fought in Vietnam, earned the Bronze Star only to then die in a Helicopter crash.
Still my favourite Megadeth record. My Last Words is probably my favourite song of theirs.
Okay, yeah it's Belladonna. I still love the Bush years though.
Another no brainer for me. Screaming For Vengeance is close though.
Bet no one expected this one. Nope, it's not Nightfall.
I love everything deftones but these two are my favourites
deftones - Around the Fur
deftones - White Pony
blink-182 - Enema of the State
I like all of A Day To Remember's albums so I don't need to post all in.
Around the Fur was a magnificent album, I still prefer Adrenaline and Saturday Night Wrists, but Around the Fur is a very close third in my opinion. White Pony was solid too.
I saw Anthrax live with Motorhead last year at one of Motorhead's last shows. I missed out on Blind Guardian though, and Megadeth sadly.
deftones: my ratings. They have never disappointed me. Chino turns everything to gold.
r.i.p Chi Cheng
It's hard to choose, and even harder to keep the list small.
Seen Anthrax twice. Funny enough, opening for Megadeth and then Judas Priest. Only saw Motorhead once unfortunately. They didn't come around here much near the end. Only saw Metallica once as well. 1997 Tour.
Not a bad listing of ratings. Why would you say KNY is your least favorite? I've always enjoyed that a lot more than DE. It's such a polarizing project; in fact, I'd say it's the most polarizing album of theirs to date besides SNW, but I thought it was very solid. Although it is a lot of style and missing a lot of substance in my opinion, still a beautiful piece of ethereal music-scape.
Adrenaline: 9.5/10
Around the Fur: 9/10
White Pony: 8/10
Deftones: 7/10
Saturday Night Wrists: 9/10
Diamond Eyes: 7.5/10
Koi No Yokan: 8/10
Gore: 7.5/10
And I find Gore sounds too similar to Diamond Eyes with the bluesy singing mixed with weirdly tuned instruments, plus the lyrics are too much of the same thing I've heard before. But hey, if you do something, do it right I guess. Just didn't itch that spot KNY did.
i just enjoyed it the least
Kendrick Lamar : To Pimp A Butterfly
It's been several listens and I'm still figuring parts out. It's a great album combining hip-hop, funk, jazz and spoken word poetry. Some of the finest (and often heaviest) lyricism I've ever heard.
B.I.G. : Ready to die.
Probably my most replayed album ever. It's like a really good crime movie in record form.
Demon Days was a great album
This is difficult because I like so much music.
I cant think if anything else right now im sure ive forgotten the best ones, im terrible at remembering.
Pantera really does get rid of hippy drum circles, I had a minor infestation a while back and it worked a treat, seriously.
It definitely was.
Who cares if it was their "sell out" album a la Metallica's self-titled effort. It's an amazing album. Even if one song blatantly ripped off timing patterns from The Number Of The Beast(Slave to the Dark). Why no one's mashed that together, I don't know. Question of Heaven, overall, is my second favourite song of theirs. Second, of course, to Travel in Stygian. Which brings me to
Both great albums.
When it comes to getting rid of hippies, nothing works better than some good old Slayer, that will get those hippies running.
I just remembered to ask if you've heard of Chino's other projects. Palms is pretty good, although it's the weakest of his separate projects in my opinion. Crosses is super interesting and probably has some of his most abstract work. And my favorite is Team Sleep, they only released one album but damn was it amazing.
No i havent heard, them. Didnt know he did anything else haha
Never been a fan of Slayer. Just could never take to them.
Oh hell yeah, it's all great... all of it is very alternative shoegazing sound-like. Like being in a dream, check 'em out man, they're all amazing!
Nah it's fine, I get it, they can be a little much at times and their music can be a bit repetitive. But Slayer really is the best music to get rid of hippies, even South Park knows that (I couldn't find an English version, the hippies are basically saying its harshing their mellow).

I've been starting to listen to these guys a bit at the recommendation of a friend. They're not too bad, but I can't say I'd call them great. Middle of the road I'd rate them, at least what I've heard thus far.
