Your best chat up lines

One that I have always used 'hey babe your like my pinky toe, your small, cute and I'll probably bang you on my coffee table later tonight' it's had mixed responses but it has worked before

  • I'm stunned that "chat up lines" is the new way to say that. I had to look it up and it apparently is a thing.

  • A common one used at my school is:

"Roses are red, violets are sour, open those legs and I'll give you some power"

Do you mean "pick-up lines"? Or is this a new trend?

  • It's a newer term for "pick-up lines", apparently. Glad I wasn't the only one confused.

  • Really? Interesting. Is it regional or just "new"?

  • Wait, that's actual slang? Holy shit, I feel out of touch all of a sudden lol.

I feel like most of the thread so far is just dedicated to us being confused and surprised that is actual slang, haha.

HOLY SHIT I'M DYING (but chat-up? huh. guess i should have stayed lost when "thats neck" became a thing)

  • Damn kids.

  • I like the classics;

"Does this rag smell like chloroform to you?"

  • I had the same reaction when I found out shipping was a thing, back sometime during Walking Dead: Season 2 I think. Back then, there weren't shipping threads but people still discussed it in passing sometimes.

  • "Chat up" huh? I thought that would be about, how would you start a conversation and keep em talking with someone. I am out of touch lol. Although... I guess these pick up lines are of a sort.

Chat up lines are cringe I cant believe they work on anyone, its 90s sitcom level cheese.

I think OP is british "pick up" isn't something we tend to say.

  • If I actually wanted to "chat someone up" I probably wouldn't use cheesy pick up lines. I find this one pretty sweet though:

You can fall off a building, you can fall out of a tree, but baby the best way to fall is in love with me.

  • "Hocus Pocus, that ass is my focus"

  • "You're so beautiful i'd crawl through broken glass naked just to hear you fart through a walkie talkie." Bit much?

  • The classic cheesiness lines that are --- "are you from tennessee because you're the only 10 I see"

Yeah i dont think i've ever said 'pick up line' being british and all.

"Hocus Pocus, that ass is my focus"

  • "Is your body from McDonalds? Cause I'm lovin' it."

  • We say chat-up lines in Britain, maybe it's that?

Really? Interesting. Is it regional or just "new"?

    1. "My mom said I need a girlfriend...lets kiss?"
    2. "Hey, girl; feel my sweater, know what's it's made of? Boyfriend material."
    3. "Baby , I'm not weather man but you can expect a few inches tonight"
    4. "Is your names Google? Because you have everything im searching for"
    5. "Swiggty swooty im comin' fo' 'dat booty"
  • That's probably it, because I've been up and down East Coast America, and to a lot of the central States, and I've never heard anyone say it like that.

"Hey, wanna come in the kitchen with me and make some pie?"

Eh, might as well have fun with it, I shall.(yoda face)

  • Yeah! I was a bit weirded out by it too. I mean, I vaguely knew what a ship was from TV Tropes, but seeing them become such a "thing" here was kinda strange. when I was a teen, ships were mostly relegated to smutty fanfiction.

it really exploded when Tales came out, to the point that it made me feel pretty out of my depth in the TFTBL section.

  • "Who they attractin' with that line / what's your name, what's your sign? / Soon as he buy the wine,I just creep up from behind / and ask you what your interests are, what makes you smile, what numbers to dial."

  • 3 and 5, oh my! Lol

  • "Are you a chicken farmer? Because your definitely raising my cock".

I'd never use this for fear of being slapped.

  • Never heard it where I'm from (East Coast of the United States) so I was thinking it was a regional thing. Guess that is the case!

We say chat-up lines in Britain, maybe it's that?

  • Here's mine.

    "Hi. I'm Noah."

I don't use pick up lines, it's fucking stupid to treat women or men like that using shitty pick up lines when you could just walk up and say hello.

  • We'll bang ok?

I will never use that, but I think it is really funny. Please don't ever use that guys and gals.

  • "You's gonna be my secondary chick" doesn't work as well, though. Actually, maybe it does, but I've never tried it.

  • I dont think people use them in real life, at least I hope not. Chat up lines are more like a stupid joke you share with your friends.

  • Oh plenty of people use them in real life. There are some fucked up people.

  • "Baby, I'm like Taco Bell. I'll spice up your night."

  • "200mm of Krupp Steel, an 8.8cm L/71 High Velocity Gun, and twin Porsche Engines... Porsche Tiger, who can top that?"

"I'm a Luchs Gosh Darnit! Not a Tiger!"

Need to be a World of Tanks player to get why these are awesome. =D
