Beauty and the Beast Official US Teaser Trailer

Comments

  • What? Beauty and the Beast doesn't need a reboot, the original was great and I see no point in retelling it in live action form.

Wait was that Emma Watson? Oh boy I'm watching this movie, never doubted it for a second, can't wait.

  • Skeptical of live action movies, but they did pretty good with Alice in Wonderland, so I'll give it the benefit of the doubt.

  • The Jungle Book was pretty good as well.

  • Can never go wrong with introducing the film with it's first trailer dominated by piano with a beautiful melody. Eat that Ghostbusters.

  • That actually sounds like something Tracer would say. lol

  • 2017.. will be a while ;-;

  • I haven't seen any live-action movies from Disney other than Alice in Wonderland but I might give this one a chance :3

Tbh I'm a little tired of Disney making live-action movies of their old films. I guess they can't create new innovative animations all the time though :/

  • Are you kidding me? Why does it need a reboot? I thought the original one was so successful.

Emma Watson is so wrong for this movie . Just like Kristen Stewart was for Snow white.
Calling it .Either Aladdin , Pocahontas or The Lion King are next .

  • You can never go wrong with Emma Watson.

Bed knobs and broomsticks and mary poppins are great films, your missing out.

I think they reached their apex with the cartoon animation and now with advancements in technology they can make live action thats rich in "disney magic" while looking fresh and new, also the live action is a darker style which seems to have become their live action trademark.

  • Ahh god I remember reading the Mary Poppins book, I used to read so much as a kid.

  • To fair, 2 out of those 4 were good (Jungle Book was great and Cinderella was fine).

  • The lion king musical Is amazing, I was lucky enough to be taken to see it in london when I was a edgy teenager, I dont know why they invited me but I was so glad they did even though I probably didn't show it :/ if they put a version of that in cinemas I would be happy

  • Hopefully it won't be disappointing as the Amazing Spiderman movies. Aren't there enough disappointing reboot games and movies?

It's weird, I've only ever seen half of Mary Poppins and never Bed Knobs and Broomsticks. They must be a lot bigger in America I think ^-^

I did love the darker style to the Alice In Wonderland live action film. Maybe this is the new route for Disney? I can't imagine a dark disneyland though o_0

  • Cinderella was boring for me and the only great thing about Jungle Book were the absolutely fantastic visuals.

To fair, 2 out of those 4 were good (Jungle Book was great and Cinderella was fine).

  • Maleficent I thought was a nice film. It was a very good spin on the sleeping beauty story personally. I just didn't like the ending very much as it didn't explain why we've been told a different version our entire lives. If the "winners" ie the princess and Maleficent herself won then why isn't the story we know theirs? Instead Maleficent is the villain instead. So obviously she should of lost in the film Maleficent.

To fair, 2 out of those 4 were good (Jungle Book was great and Cinderella was fine).

  • I've seen Alice in Wonderlands, Maleficent and The Jungle Book and actually thought they were pretty good, with The Jungle Book being the most outstanding. Never saw Cinderella though.

Fahriye Evcen would have been my first choice. Or Emmy Rossum ,Mary Elizabeth Winstead, and Ariel Winter.
But not Watson. She's too plain looking with or without makeup . Just so wrong .

  • I'm excited :)

When I heard that voice I was like "Huh? I think I know that voice" (Emma appears) "YES!"
