Poker Night 3 line up: Who would you pick?
Well, I think it's time we had some female characters. Clem from Walking Dead would be awesome! I'd probably also pick Tyrion Lannister from Game of Thrones because, why would you not?
I haven't given this a lot of thought, but I thought I'd throw this out there, who would you pick for Poker Night 3?

I don't think Clem would be a good fit since she doesn't have a lot of comedic potential and wouldn't fit in with more mature characters. That being said, I think good characters could include:
Deadpool would almost be a waste, since all the characters in Poker Night are already breaking the 4th wall.
Ripley(I think they need a woman by now as well), Bosco, (way too serious)Batman, ...
Okay, movie, game, comic... tv....

That's right. I pulled that last one right out of my ass and there's probably only 2 people on this forum whom know what I'm talking about.
Had Claptrap not already been in Poker Night 2, I would agree that a TftB character would be cool (in my case, I'd pick Fiona). However, I don't think Telltale should use another Borderlands character. (They did use Max in Poker Night 1 and then Sam in Poker Night 2, but that's because there had not been any Sam and Max games for a long while by Poker Night 2 and Telltale wanted to celebrate the 25th Anniversary).
From Tales from the Borderlands, I would suggest both Rhys and Fiona.
And Gortys and LB occasionally commenting and doing stuff in the background.

and I wouldnt be so sure for the 4th, it be cool to have Rhys and Fiona work similar to Sam and Max in Poker Night 2, maybe even joke that's where they teliported.
If only Telltale characters/characters from other universes in their Telltale form:
Hugo P. Vasquez would be on this list if there wasn't Steve and Clatrap in Poker Night 2, and Patrick Warburton. I also didn't want to include characters from the same game because if they had history it be kind of "eh" or playable characters.
If there was some background characters I'd definitely have Doc Brown do something. Maybe have Harys do something with Gryff. As for the bartender, Holly would work well with Gren.
For each of the skins for the Inventory it would be as so: Yoder's would be kind of what you would expect from a mercenary like him I can't think of specifics. Gryff's would obviously be medieval themed like Highpoint. Gren's would make it look like the Trip Trap, and Kenny's would be a maritime boat theme.
For each of the items you can win from them, I think Yoder's would be the Barbasol can. Gryff's could be someone's head or his sword or something. I don't know what to do for Gren really. Kenny's is either his crowbar, eyepatch, or something with boat.
For only one Telltale character:
If I had to choose out of everybody that even seems like the slightest possibility, then I'd say:

Thread: Am I the only one who wants Poker Night 3?! My dream characters...
Am I the only person who wants this??? I never played the first one but; I thoroughly enjoyed Poker Night 2. Characters I would like to see in Poker Night 3: Lee (The Walking Dead Season 1) Bigby or Grendall (The Wolf Among Us) Sam & Max At the same time or switchable (Sam & Max) Gortys or Loaderbot (Tales from the Borderlands). Telltale you don't have to use all these characters. This is just my opinion. Telltale fans who would you like to see in Poker Night 3, if Telltale ever makes it?
God I would love that, but I doubt Telltale will be adding them again since Max was in Poker Night 1 and Sam (and Max) were in Poker Night 2. Hopefully I'm wrong

I believe the Poker Night series is their second most successful franchise. There will almost certainly be a 3 at some point.
I really hope we get a Poker Night 3, also the only character that I feel really should make an appearance is Bigby.
I merged two Poker Night 3 threads together.
As for franchises, I'd rather not have Telltale repeat themselves with characters from Sam and Max or Borderlands again, even if Tales characters like Fiona would be a fantastic fit otherwise. I'd rather see Telltale's take on new characters/franchises instead at this point that have not already had time to shine in a Poker Night game.
I think that "normal" characters don't really belong to Poker Night series as players. It should be something unusual like Xenomorph playing poker or whatever. They could probably get the Joker as they now are doing Batman games too...

Yeah, I agree. Bigby would fit the sardonic humor that other characters in Poker Night have had down to a tee.
Plus it would make complete sense to have a Trip Trap version of the Inventory for the game, with Holly as the bartender. Huff n' Puffs would work well.
I imagine it be funny to have cheap jokes like "I'm gonna huff, and puff, and blow your cards down."
The song played at the Trip Trap is actually reused from Poker Night 1, which is an interesting coincidence.
Clearly it's a sign. It must be destiny!
