Ah, have yet to play Fallout 4 so I didn't know. I only watched a playthrough by one of the youtubers I watch.
This is interesting information to take in.
I've became a fan of the series after watching vids of FO4, then I bought New Vegas on PC (it lagged too much so I stopped half way through the game), finally got the PS3 versions of Fallout 3 and New Vegas so I'm getting there. I'm just waiting for FO4 to be cheaper to buy, plus I'm lacking the PS4 atm.
Fallout 3 and Fallout 4 have a 10 year difference. Making Arthur 20 Years old in Fallout 4
Elder Lyons dies, Sarah Lyons is appointed the… more new Elder, a few years into her leader ship she is out on mission and is killed in action. At this point Arthur has had training from Sarah forming a close relationship, Arthur even stating that she is his first 'crush' because she taught him to kill a man by stabbing him in the kidneys.
Arthur Maxson was appointed Elder of the East Coast Brotherhood by the West Coast Elders in 2283 at the age of sixteen, the youngest in the history of the Brotherhood, after displaying exceptional skill as a capable warrior and diplomat by defeating the super mutant leader Shephard and brokering peace with the Brotherhood Outcasts, bringing them back into the fold.
A bit more about Arthur - When he was 10 he killed a Super Mutant in a training mission. He owes his scar to a fight that he led alone against a deathcl… [view original content]
I still prefer fallout 3 for story and such over Fallout 4 and NV. Just Fallout 4 out performs them all in terms of what you can do.
You've made me want to start fallout 3 again. Damn you. That'll be the millionth time.....
All achievements on Fallout 3, NV and 4. But 3 and NV were on my hacked account but I played them on my current and at about 98% now. I'm a completionist for Fallout.
I hope this isnt a spoil but Arthur Maxson, Mayor MacCready and Madison Li are the only 3 character in both Fallout 3 and 4

So, I was wondering if there are any Fallout Storyteller fans here. I'm not a big fan of their series, but I do enjoy them and I just found out the trailer for Season 4 of ShoddyCast's Fallout Storyteller. I'm actually hyped about it.
My main guy Yes I play with a pink interface.... It fits well, I also play on Very Hard.
Items worn in first 2 pics --- Inquistors Cow U… morenique, Recon Marine Chest Piece Unique. (I have the helmet and both arms - No legs avaliable)
Items on 3rd pic --- Marine Wetsuit Unique, Tactical Helmet Unique, Legendary Shadowed Leather Armour (found by killing legendary enemies) Old Reliable Unique lever action rifle
Love the look of Alex atm. Changed her slightly for the DLC. (Shes my second character)
What's your favorite unique weapon from Far Harbor? I like the unique SMG the Children of Atom give you, and Old Reliable. You can't go wrong with a lever-action rifle.
* Finally back to 100% Achievements!
* Got all base game unique weapons and armour I can for the ending I followed. Magazines, bobbleheads … moreetc..
* Got all Automatron & Far Harbor unique weapons and armour for the ending I followed.
God. I'm such a completionist.

Since I've got a week off, I've decided to make a new Fallout 4 playthrough now I know what type of combat I am going to use. Does anyone know how to make a decent-looking male character?
That is what I did too. I liked how Nick was all about justice until Dima got killed then he was upset. I figured if he did not turn himself in he would replace more people whenever he felt like it.
How is Far Harbor? I've got the season pass but haven't loaded the game up in awhile. Do companions you bring with you have any new dialogue or anything like that?

Depends. I found it pretty fun, but it might not be everyones cup of tea. It feels similar to "Point Lookout" from Fallout 3 (aesthetically and difficulty-wise). Some cool new weapons, gear and armour, neat (and deadly) new enemies, some interesting characters (though the children of atom are as poorly written as ever) and a good deal of missions. Not my favourite Bethesda DLC, but it is up there.
Here's my Fallout 3 character: Carl. (that name and the hat/cop vibe is big hint on my inspiration)
Also say hello to my low quality camera: Mister Shitty-Screens.
3-way peace, with Tektus replaced by a synth, and Far Harbor kept in the dark about both DiMA and Avery. Not ideal, but no one had to die (well Tektus did, but he was a prick).
Here's the guide I used (i don't have pics, sorry).
Keep the face symmetrical
Eyebrows should arch upwards and not droop downward - pull "eyebrows-outer" up and out to the sides, pull "eyebrows-middle' and "eyebrows-inner" down
pull the "jowls-lower" up to create a more youthful face
make the chin a little longer than default
make the eyes a little farther apart than default
for men: put the "eyelid-lower" up to create a sexy squint
for women: make the eyes a little bigger than default
That guide (copied verbatim) has helped me make a few pretty cool characters (again, sorry I don't have pics). It also lets them still be your own as opposed to a copy/paste recipe.
Since I've got a week off, I've decided to make a new Fallout 4 playthrough now I know what type of combat I am going to use. Does anyone know how to make a decent-looking male character?
I did a quick search and unfortunately it seems that the only ones with new dialogue are Nick and Longfellow (new follower). That being said I brought Nick and he got a lot of content.
How is Far Harbor? I've got the season pass but haven't loaded the game up in awhile. Do companions you bring with you have any new dialogue or anything like that?
Same here. I know revealing the truth is considered the moral thing to do. But in this case, it wouldn't bring about anything peaceful. One of the few cases in which lying is actually somewhat for the better.

It's kinda like that whole thing from Watchmen.
For a time, I had not seen Dogmeat at my Vault for a while. I last left him outside a hospital before the presidential subway since he wasn't moving. So I told him to leave back to the vault. After I completed Broken Steel, I returned to the vault. No Dogmeat. I thought he died along the way, so I focused on leveling up through side missions until I got the Puppies perk. However it didn't work. I thought maybe if he died before the perk it wouldn't work. But it was soon in one moment I realized something. I returned to where I parted ways with him, and he was still there! My dog was still alive!
Anyway, I soon started the Point Lookout DLC. It gave me some major Resident Evil 4 vibes for some reason. The woods/swamps and cabin areas were so creepy. I found the ritual site and it just gave me the chills and I didn't dare enter the basement of the destroyed house. My RE4 vibes intensified with the creepy cannibals that attack me. I also found a detention camp (I was also doing a side mission that led me there), so many freaking ghouls there just like the rest of the swamp. Parts of the camp freaked me out especially the morgue, I thought some ghoul might jump out. The whole way through so far on this map I've been on edge and trying to avoid enemies as much as possible as they're too tough in large numbers. Definitely loving this DLC.
Also @Jamex1223, I'm encountering a whole lot more of Ghoul Reavers now that I'm in Point Lookout, my first encounter with em was in a presidential subway though. But holy shit they're dangerous! I've never been so desperate in killing ghouls so quickly before! I still hate Hellblaze Enclave troopers the most though, I hate dat pyro cannon they use (until I use it hehe).
Wish I could of done that. Children of Atom decided to try to kill me so I literally just said bleep it, and wiped out their entire compound. Literally I went to visit and selected the wrong dialogue option I guess... bang bang bang they went with their radiation guns. Sometimes there are factions that don't deserve to exist. I think DiMA said himself, if they knew how to access the wind turbines Far Harbor wouldn't exist, they're that fanatically. Replacing their leader doesn't fix the problem that their entire ideology spreads. Eventually they would have to be met again.

Funnily enough his son is called shawn haha! Well the comic and game Hershel anyway

youve never faced a reaver ghoul in FO3? you about to ave new nightmares my friend
xD It's truly addicting. Games, they are like a drug. You just can't stay off them for too long. o)_(o
Shame about the hacked account though. I've been lucky to have never been hacked in any of my accounts.
Nah, I knew that part for a long time actually. With the exception of Arthur and MacCready until I played through FO3 recently.

Also, dat trailer, though lmfao.
Love the futuristic vibe I'm getting on the third one.

What ending did ya'll get in Far Harbor?
What's your favorite unique weapon from Far Harbor? I like the unique SMG the Children of Atom give you, and Old Reliable. You can't go wrong with a lever-action rifle.
Old Reliable, Kiliton Radium Rifle, Fish Catcher
Since I've got a week off, I've decided to make a new Fallout 4 playthrough now I know what type of combat I am going to use. Does anyone know how to make a decent-looking male character?
Peace between Acadia and Far Harbor, with DiMA being executed. Atom crazies "found division" a bit earlier than they expected.
Ah no! DiMA!
That is what I did too. I liked how Nick was all about justice until Dima got killed then he was upset. I figured if he did not turn himself in he would replace more people whenever he felt like it.
Yep, DiMA. Captain Avery killed him and will never know she was the one who's been replaced.
How is Far Harbor? I've got the season pass but haven't loaded the game up in awhile. Do companions you bring with you have any new dialogue or anything like that?
It's the best DLC so far, and Nick is directly tied into it.
So if I bring anyone else, will they interact with the over story like nick?
I don't know, I never brought anyone else but Nick, but I have heard people say Nick is the only companion who interacts with the story.
I just wish that the wetsuit could have ballistic weave. Oh well, hopefully the mods will fix that.
Kiliton Radium Rifle, Old Reliable, Atom's Judgement (really good if you have the "Nuclear Physicist" perk).

If only the game had eyepatches.

Yeah, plus I didn't want to off Nick's brother.
Aye.

I was in the mood for making a meme and I think it's more fitting if I post it in this thread, so...
Dat feeling when a legendary enemy drops a sweet Lever-Action rifle and you realize you haven't started Far Harbor yet.
Searching this person when....
Theres a glitch that came with broken steel that makes dogmeat invincible. I had him with me all the time, he could even take fatmans haha

That happens quite often, especially among Talon Company NPCs.
When you remember that the weekend is almost over.
