  • Calm down, it was a joke. :^)

Also, I do agree, Sheriff is a thug on the outside but a weeaboo on the inside. ;D

What makes you think that? If watching something Japanese makes me a weeaboo then the entire forums are Muricans freaks.

  • The one thing I like to talk about my favorite television series. The two I like to talk about is The Walking Dead and Supernatural. There is none greater than these two!

  • I relate to this. Well, the nerdy history part. I still don't know what a "War of the Bucket" is.

I like to talk about history. Sometimes people make fun of me for it, but It's okay because I know they're just jealous that I know what the "War of the Bucket" is and they don't.

I have a lot of time.

  • I'll tell you about it because I love talking about it so much. It shows that we, as humans, have probably always been trolls.

From the 1120's to the 1320's northern Italy was divided into two rival political factions. The Ghibelline, which supported the Holy Roman Empire, and the Guelph, which supported the Pope. The two factions had a tendency to war against one another, usually using any excuse to fight. One interesting incident occurred in 1325. Modena (Ghibeline) and Bologna (Guelph) had been having border clashes for a time, but things heated up when Bologna raided Modena. Modena would return the favor not long afterwards, during which they managed to steal a bucket filled with loot from a well. Bologna really wanted that bucket back, but Modena wouldn't give it back, so war was declared over a fucking bucket.

7,000 Modenese defeated a force of 32,000 Bolognese at the Battle of Zappolino. 1,000-2,000 people died during the battle (again, over a fucking bucket). The Bolognese retreated back into the city. You know what the Modenese did? They stole another bucket. It's just that you know there was one guy after the battle that was like, "Guys, we should totally take another bucket," and everyone just sarted laughing their asses off.

I relate to this. Well, the nerdy history part. I still don't know what a "War of the Bucket" is.

  • I feel like I actually remember learning about this at some point. Sounds like something my dad would tell me.

Either way, thanks for the history lesson!
