Already preordered a PS3 copy on Amazon, it sucks that EU has no dates announced yet, but considering this is Atlus wasn't it sort of expected? Regardless hopefully they don't fucking region lock the US version and fuck over EU just like they did with Arena ultimax.
I'm a bit disappointed about the collector's edition. Japan get Persona 1, Persona 2: Innocent Sin, Persona 2: Eternal Punishment, Persona 3: FES and Persona 4: Golden all remastered, while the West gets a plushie, a bag, an art book and the soundtrack.
If the US version is region-locked then I think I'm gonna have a stroke.

Cool. At least this means I have some time to finish P3, Get P4 and then finish it, and save up for P5... (been following Persona 5 for about a year and finally decided to join the craze[around December of last year], just haven't found much time to play P3, mostly because of other games on my backlog being on sale and a lot of work I've been getting at school these days.

Right, but I'd love to play P4 before 5 comes out at least. During P3, it just feels a bit bland and the night/fatigue mechanics get on my nerves sometimes. I've seen a few gameplays of Persona 4, and I think I'll enjoy that one much more once I get to it, more grounded plot, lighthearted, upbeat music, refined mechanics, sounds like my kind of thing. (But for the sake of Persona fans everywhere, I'll play through P3 just to see why people love it so much.)
Well, a short article about Persona 5 at E3 showed up. From what they've described, it seems like the entire game will be a visual feast... "Dripping with style" - http://ca.ign.com/articles/2016/06/14/e3-2016-persona-5-is-dripping-with-style

Japan got a CD for each of the persona games. Not a remaster.
Wait, so is it the soundtrack for each of the games or the actual games themselves?
5 soundtrack CDs from Persona 1-5
The U.S. is just getting some tracks from Persona 5.
Ah, that makes more sense, the video I watched said the games themselves were included. I guess that makes me feel less jealous then.

The stories aren't connected except for a few references, so you can finish P3 and P4 whenever you like.
Man I wish they could've put this on the vita

Although I have a PS4, I agree, the Persona games are perfect for handheld consoles.

I saw the preview. It only makes me want it more. The soundtrack that I could hardly hear was mesmerizing. Can't wait to see some footage in HD!
I know right, just watching trailers makes my jaw drop every time.
