I received an odd email

Hi, today I got an email from Telltale Games saying thanks for singing up. (Account created)
But I can't remember signing up for anything for at least the past 2 weeks. Maybe I did create this account a few weeks back, but why would they send the email 2 weeks ,or probably more than 2, late? (Doesn't make sense to me)
The email is from noreply@telltalegames.com so i'm pretty sure it's legit.

If anyone could help me out, thanks:)

    It's possible that, for some reason, another person used your email to sign up for an account? If you aren't sure, you can Submit a Request at the Telltale Games Support Center to have them look into this. I agree that it sounds weird if you do not remember signing up for an account recently.

    I might be wrong, but I think the forum guidelines stated that we should only have one account per email address, or at least I remember reading that when I first joined. If that's not the rule, then would it be possible to block an email address from being used for two accounts?
