It would've been great for a huge DLC, but Todd Howard confirmed that Nuka World will be the last one. Hopefully, it will be really good though.

I think these are filler till a massive DLC

  • I expect Nuka World to be pretty massive.

  • I just turned on my ps4 and started Fallout, which then triggered the download for the 1.07 Update. I spiked with excitement expecting it to be Bethesda's mod update. To my disappointment, no mods.

Really testing my patience here, Bethesda.

  • Okay, so I start a new Fallout savegame just for shits, add a couple new mods, and then find out that most of my settlement-basaed mods seem to be gone for NO FUCKING REASON! WHAT THE FUCK!

Some have been removed, as these are put up by modders they can take them down when they want. I lost a body replace & pipboy retexture as the creator or bethesda removed them (they can get reported by users to get removed) it'll be one of those 3 most likely

  • Mine didn't get removed. They were just uninstalled for some reason, so I had to re-download them.

  • This exact thing happened to me as well, might be due to updates regarding mods on consoles.

  • I guess. I've got one mod called 'Scrap Fallout' which basically lets you scrap extra stuff in your settlement. Since I always use Sanctuary Hills as my settlement, I installed it so I could remove all the bushes and stuff so that my settlement looks a lot cleaner. But with this new update, I can scrap actual road sections, and even the pre-war houses, which means I always end up deleting shit by accident.

Simple mods are the best. These are the type of mods I had for 3 and NV. But my computer isnt good enough for 4 :/

  • Recently started my PS3 New Vegas playthrough, after about a hour and a half, game crashes.... It's gonna be one of those games again, huh? -.-

  • It's actually a new suit which is good, I have this and the retexture on the normal suit!

Suit in the picture https://mods.bethesda.net/#en/workshop/fallout4/mod-detail/1491773 (this one can have ballistic weave added)

retexture on all suits https://mods.bethesda.net/#en/workshop/fallout4/mod-detail/1492933 (standard suits can't)

  • That's Fallout for ya... especially on PS3. :^)

  • I feel like I'm the only one who hasn't run into any big problems with Bethesda games. The worst I've had has been a few crashes per game (around 1 every 40-50 hours). I have had a few quest problems, but they also seem to be fixed after the first couple patches.

  • Unfortunately, Bethesda games and products historically seem to be allergic to the PlayStation.

  • Actually, my Skyrim never crashes after recieving all of it's updates (one update caused it to crash when I enter water but that was it). That game is luckily the most stable game I have from Bethesda.

  • Eh, I never had a problem with Fallout 3 and New Vegas on PC, even though my PC is an actual toaster. I had minimal crashes and ran them with around 30 FPS on Medium/Large textures.

But after the number of mods I added on both games, I just fucked both of them and I started getting like lower than 20 FPS. .__.

I honestly regret that by now, but all the mods I downloaded are so damn good... (╯°□° ) ╯

  • Just finished the main quest line for Fallout 4, and I absolutely loved it.

I finished the game on the Brotherhood's side, and ended up destroying The Institute, betraying my son's research in favor of continuing my new-found lesbian life with Piper in the wastes.

Told the synth-child to get fucked, and hauled ass becoming a Specter. An amazing journey I will most likely play over as the father.

  • Always glad to see some people still liking Fallout 4. ^-^ And damn... Ripperoni in pepperoni synth Shaun.

Just out of curiosity, are you planning to play some of Fallout 4's DLCs, too?

  • Eh, definitely at some point in the future I'll gladly purchase the season pass so that all available DLC's are given to me. Thus far I've played every DLC for Fallout 3 and they were mostly great (Mothership Zeta being the exception). And I've so far purchased two DLC's for New Vegas, one of which I particularly loved (Honest Hearts). So I know that I'll be getting some great content.

  • Honestly, I don't think it's worth getting the season pass, since the majority of Fallout 4's DLCs are workshop ones, which are actually just cashgrab, in my opinion. The only ones I can actually suggest are Far Harbor and Automatron so far. Not sure about Nuka-World yet, since it hasn't been released.

It's a shame that the majority of its DLCs are not story ones, since I wanted to see more Fallout 4 lore. :\ Oh well, the game's still great for what it is.

  • Damn, what a pity.

The workshop was an interesting ideal that I felt didn't really go anywhere. But if Far Harbor is anything like Point Lookout, it'll be well worth the price.

    Indeed it is.

The workshop was an interesting ideal that I felt didn't really go anywhere.

Yeah, it didn't really feel that useful, honestly. I don't think people would just like to spend their time building settlements instead of exploring the actual world.

But if Far Harbor is anything like Point Lookout, it'll be well worth the price.

Trust me, it is worth the price. In my opinion, Far Harbor is better than Point Lookout and surprisingly enough, Far Harbor is also better than the main game. However, everything is just a matter of opinion. ^_^ Oh and yes, it gives some Point Lookout 'vibes' which I really like.

  • Far Harbor personally is one of the best DLC's Bethesda has ever made for any of it's games really. It also feels a lot like something you'd see on New Vegas as well instead of Fallout 3, with better characters, choice options. etc etc

Far Harbor is perhaps the best DLC Bethesda has made of all it's Fallout titles. I'd say is better than Obsidian's DLC for New Vegas as well, but only because the scale combined with the quest/characters is just much better on average than the rest.

More like the best Fallout DLC Bethesda has ever done. ;)

Eh, honestly, I think Fallout: New Vegas' DLCs are a bit better than Fallout 3 and Fallout 4's DLCs, especially with Dead Money. That DLC was one of the best. At least in my opinion. However, I do like that Bethesda improved the writing in the Fallout franchise, especially in the DLCs. That surely gives hope to more people that abandoned Fallout 4 cause it didn't feel like a good Fallout game to them (however, I do think it's very good, even in Fallout standards).

Finally beat fallout 4's main story. Im not sure what to do now,I did the vast majority of the side quests. I thought the game was really good and a well done sequel

  • Aren't they working to increase that though?

  • Dead Money was insanely short though. I personally liked Old World Blues more, as it had a lot of exploring. hehe
