The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt; Blood and Wine
Well i freaking love this game, one of my favorite games of all time and i think their DLCs have been master pieces 10/10s all the way.
but im making this because that no one seemed to bumped the witcher thread someone made a while ago, to discuss it and it kinda baffled me because its so good. Blood and Wine was fantastic so im a lil mad (not really, just hyperbole) that no one has been talking about, so here is this thread so maybe some people would want to discuss their expirence with this fantastic DLC.
if not well this thread will just die lel..

Ayyyy I finished it few days ago and it was pure gold, if only every AAA was like that...still now I can't wait for Cyperpunk 2077 from Reds
They are great at making characters and story that leaves an impression on you, even if that impression is sometimes annoyance.
I'm about 10 hours into the DLC and i'm blown away. I think I actually prefer it to the main story. Anna Henrietta and Regis are excellent characters.
I just can't get over how big Toussaint is, CDPR are gods in the gaming industry.
My only sort of 'disappointment' with this DLC is that with Grandmaster gear and mutations, they make for some overly over-powered builds. I have a sign build that focuses on Aard/Igni, with the Aard 'freezing' mutation, and i'm honestly invincible...not even on New Game Plus yet. All you have to do is chuck some random signs in your ability tree, greater blue mutagens and you'll have a sign intensity of at least 250%...you don't even need to really think about where you'll use your points...which kinda sucks, it's a little too easy. I think i'll switch it up soon just for some variety.
I just can't believe this expansion is only $30AU and you get this much content. They advertised '30 hours of new quests', but I have no doubt it will take me longer than that. So much effort goes into the world...I would honestly pay more if I could just to support them. You know it's a good game when you start thinking like that.
Then buy stuff in Gwynt the game
What bothers me is that they said it would be as big as Skellige yet the activites don't match up to it. Still, I like how they made the environment in the game.
Yeah but Skellige is just full of smugglers caches and water. I wouldn't call them more activities really...
The actual quests are better in Toussaint in my opinion and every inch of the map is great to explore. Skellige is still beautiful though.
It was my last chance to see my favourite character Iorveth.
But yeah the dlc was great, I really liked Syanna.
Didn't play the DLC but I watched a playthrough of it...
Weirdest DLC I've ever seen. The number of references and easter eggs in it... oh, and that cloud scene...
I was bummed about that too. Would've loved to have seen Saskia and Iorveth.
Oh yes the cloud scene... I love that scene
Who doesn't? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
It sucks because I don't know what happened to him. In the main game there's a certain group of Scoiatael that if you pass enough times they mention Iorveth. They talk about how nobody knows where he is, implying that he's missing.
I sense something...I should probably continue playing.
Yea I do prefer the Toussaint quest over Skellige.
But did it make you cry like an anime fan on prom night?
freaking loved it. that boss fight with dettlaff was freaking hard..
i was to into the story and some quest that i forgot to look for the gear and mutation lol.
but i kinda took a break from it cuz i was feeling a lil competative so i went back to unfarted (i love it, just something me and some people use to make fun of it a bit) to play some mp but im kinda itching to get to it again.
Spoilers...
Well.. it was better than nothing.
Just finished BaW last night, got the 'good' ending. What a story though, i wish there was more it was honestly so good.
I kinda wish Annarietta and Syanna forgave eachother, but Syanna still get punished for causing so many people to die...we don't know what happens to her afterwards.
Anyway, OP this thread might get more attention if you just call it 'The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Thread', it's kinda specific at the moment probably why not as many people are talking about it. Just a suggestion. Or let it die lol
