Can you save both Gabriel and Petra in Episode 1

I know episode 1 is old but I want to know since I saw you can click on it before Lucas sends you threw the portal

    No, you need to decide between the two of them.

    You can't. Even if you attempt to click on the tentacle it will still hit you and send you to the Nether even if you attempted to do that. Otherwise if you were able to saved both of them the game would change and be ruined like who would save Jesse at the end of Episode 3 when the Command Block was sucking Jesse? No one. Then he'll die and the game is ruined.

    That means the not just that you won't be able to save Gabriel and Petra, it's not worth making it happen anyways if you were able too.
