If the choice was there, would you rather have saved ***** or ****?
Sarah or Arvo, in either of these two scenarios:
- The season presented as is
- What I think might have been how it'd have turned out--Arvo wasn't supposed to shoot Clementine, as he was conceptualized to be handicapped and with a sick sister for the sake of the "weeding out the weak vs. not abandoning 'liabilities'" storyline (which probably still held true in the original script as it looked likely that Clementine was able to become like Carver, but not necessarily through siding with Jane, which was tacked on last-minute), and Sarah's gun lessons and other advice might have actually served a purpose. Since they're both disabled kids and the narrative seems to favor side-against-side choices for this season, I'm wondering if this was actually intended to happen - providing the game with a determinant survivor scenario alongside the Kenny/Luke one. (Also of note, they have cracked glasses, supposedly furthering their liability status and potentially having those be Clem's keepsakes after their death a la Kenny's hat and maybe Nick's/Luke's hat.)

They're both a liability but I'd save Sarah because she's not a complete piece of shit like Arvo.
Definetly Sarah. She would never hurt her own friends. After what Arvo did, why would he deserve to be saved?
In that scenerio I would pick Sarah. I'm assuming we still have the whole Arvo ambush thing. I mean I do get Arvo and why he did some of the bad things we hate him for, but I still would pick Sarah over him. Sarah was a good friend if you were to her and if she lived she might have been able to overcome some of her anxieties. She was one of my favorite Season 2 characters.
Kenny should've drowned that shit bird and i might save him instead of jane..
But my real answer i rather save Sarah

It'll always depend on the situation, how people were characterized up until that point and the expectations of the other characters. I may not save my favorite character based on the whole situation and what the situation built up from/to.
In order for it to be a fair decision, I would ask for us to be presented a backstory for Arvo, so that we can truly understand him and the situation under which the ambush took place.
Otherwise, I would let the timer run out.

I would save Sarah, she would never harm anyone like Arvo. Yes she has anxiety issues but if she had not died the way she did and lived, I think she would of overcame it over time. I mean look what it did for Clementine it turned her from a little girl into a survivor thanks to the help of Lee. I think Clem could of taught Sarah the same thing. Arvo on the other hand shot Clementine. I mean I get he is upset he lost his sister but still.

i honestly would love to save both, but i think i'd have to save sarah. though, i really adore arvo and i wish he got to stick around for longer.

i like him because i can't see a lot to antagonize him over, he's a disabled kid who lost everyone he knew but still acted civil even when taking several physical and emotional beatings. (please don't respond to this if you're planning on starting an argument/trying to "prove me wrong", i'm tired.)

he has a leg brace and a bad limp, which is a pretty major disability. he also doesn't speak a whole lot of english, i think i could count that as a disability, especially in the setting that the game is in. i don't blame you for not remembering though, since his physical disability wasn't exactly explored on.

I don't think it's very hard personally to pick Sarah, but I was kinda bitter she had to die in the first place.
I'm not as opposed to Arvo as some, but I don't think I would be able to trust him ever.

If emotion was involved in my decision, I would save Sarah. I felt bad because of how she died, in either situation, in season 2. It was awful and, if you picked to let her die the first time like I did, I felt really bad about it. However, if I was thinking rationally, I'd choose Arvo. Unfortunately, Sarah is dead weight. She doesn't understand the world - never will. Therefore, you'd have to constantly shield her from the world and save her if she got into trouble. Although I question whether Arvo is loyal or not, he can probably scavenge and he can use a gun so he already has more survival skills.
Arvo is more a liability. He has a broken leg and is slower than Sarah. Also, he is a troublemaker. You choose a troublemaker over a poor defenseless little girl?
