So far I only have one complaint: the "All Series" page looks a little... undernourished with a serious lack of Sam & Max, Strong Bad, and Monkey Island

I do, but it got annoying to see lots of other people's posts being messed up because of some weird and obscure formatting requirement that most people reasonably and understandably did not pick up on.

You don't? I was pressing it twice out of habit haha.

So when is someone gonna fix it? :(

  • I hope they implement the earlier color scheme of dark grey/white instead this white/black one

Hey all! Tamir from Telltale here!

We're getting a TON of feedback right now. You guys are hitting the site and exploring it, and giving us issues and suggestions and improvements; I absolutely appreciate it! I've been making a list of the top priority bugs, and other features/improvements we want to make in the coming days.

Currently, we want to make sure that functionality works across all platforms, and that people can edit their posts. After that the plan is to fix notifications, and to then go down the list of the other suggestions given out. Old games will also be added back soon; making sure we have all the content for each of these titles is in progress. :)

I promise that we're here, listening, and we want this site to be a welcome place for everyone to enjoy. Our engineers are diligently coding away, fixing and improving this new site as we speak.

Please continue to share your thoughts! I'll be monitoring the thread, and updating our lists and priorities based on what I see. Just keep it respectful, ya know? :)

  • The very last one.

, , , or on the new site?

  • Telltale's web team are working on fixing the issues. Smaller issues and odd things are very common during site updates, but they usually get ironed out soon enough.

So when is someone gonna fix it?

  • I don't even get a notification!

    And thanks.

The new code for the website must have caused a regression in the fabric of time itself Quick, look outside and check for anything weird like the sun going backwards or birds flying in reverse

  • What about smartphones, though!

We will be invaded by long, narrow walls of text. This is such a mess.

Another upside to this update; post formatting is no longer weird You do not have to press enter or space twice for a new line and posts will look directly like they do when you type them in I am glad to see they fixed that

  • I think a maroon red color scheme would be even more sleek, while also giving it color and personality to stand out too!

  • The homepage says "404 - File not found" and shows a pic of Reuben.

  • Unless the background color is eventually updated to change from white to something else, could the header bar background be colored light gray to make it stand out more?

  • You would have had long, narrow walls of text anyways. This changes nothing other than making it easier for users elsewhere to read posts without weird formatting issues.

  • Id really appreciate a button to "clear all notifications" or something like that. Ive been stuck at 99+ notifications for ages, there's no real way to easily remove them.

  • Back when the old Support forums were a thing, TelltaleMike hinted at eventual plans for the profile feed system to be revised. A fix for that might eventually be coming.

  • Yes that would be very nice, I've been stuck at 15 for the longest time myself.

Editing your posts should no longer have an hour limit!

  • Kinda preferred the way it looked before, but I'm up for a change, and glad to see they're fixing the issue with editing. Seriously needs some colour, though.

  • Nice, glad that you guys are taking feedback. The top problem for everyone right now seems to be that no one is getting notifications from what I've seen.

  • Nah I wouldn't call it ugly, just a poor choice of color scheme. The top bar should be a different color from the background.

  • That's as respectful as can be offered when we're given this monstrosity, lol. It looks like a half loaded webpage now.

  • I think if they do the technical updates like the positive changes to the way posting works, but go back to the old site layout, that that would be the best option.

  • why not an option to choose from various styles? Other forums can do it, why not this one?

I mean...the minimalist look you guys are going for is kind of nice, and all but this honestly looks not so great in my opinion. The colour got sucked out and for some reason the dividers between comments are gone for no reason, the "like" button has been replaced by a kind of more basic system (just a personal pet peeve but maybe add green for when there's a like or something). I don't mean to be this harsh, but there are still several good things you guys can do. For example, why not have dynamic backgrounds, and let us pick them?

Maybe similar to Dragon Age, whereas we pick what choices we did in our game, and that affects what kind of background we might get? Or better yet don't even have choices filter into it, and just have a changing background every now and then that pops up at random. I mean, where is the colour? Aside from maybe the header and improvements to profile, and footer, this is just squares and text, no background, no colour, nothing.

And that's not even going into the bugs, I can't even post this comment because of some invalid token?

    HOWEVER

    Good things:

    • Minimalist look is pretty good, you just need to make it either more customizable or just have some more colour, focus on things like icons or text for minimalism not the whole thing.
    • Amazing work on the homepage, like look how much colour and how cool the games look, almost like they're popping out to us, that's what we need.
    • The text for comments looks a lot smoother.
    • Fantastic job on profiles, that's some really awesome stuff.

    glad to hear (read) that

you may have found my list of bugs and issues then, also please do implement the site's own avatar upload option, twice the size the current Gravatar allows please

If you want something truly unique, then even as I mentioned earlier it would be nice to get back the option to name/rename our spoiler tags, it could perhaps also be recolored? I mean for forum games, first spoiler tag (named Rules) could be crimson, second spoilers would be blue (named Characters) and third one green (named Factions)

just as an example, and honestly, the new style really lacks colors.

Are you crazy? What happens if there's a spelling error and we don't notice it until later and by then it's too late!? T_T do you have any idea how screwed we'd be?

In all honesty, I would tell them to keep that feature in. It prevents users from editing what they said earlier and making others look like they are not making a grain of sense. Just an opinion, though.

  • I like the slickness, but god damn is it too bright. The lack of any visible borders on the community page is sort of bothering me.

still can't name the spoiler tag, what is says before being revealed
