I've always wondered why pople want to be immortal. What if you get trapped somewhere. Say an earthquake strikes the building that you're in, and it collapses while you're in the basement parking garage. You're pinned under a million tons of concrete and drywall. All you can do is wait for rescue. What if the resque gives up? Or you're on a ship and it sinks. You're stuck in the middle of the ocean/sea. Getting back to the shore isn't going to be easy.
Immortality is just a bad idea.
Not to talk about watching your loved ones slowly dying when you're just going to be there after they are all gone. Whose mind could take that? Seriously it only would be suitable for only the most edgy psychopath types who don't really care about anyone. Of course you could wish everyone you want to be immortal, but, eh, how do you know what people is going to be important to you in the future. Who wants to live forever.

To be able to figure out and excel in social situations and human relationships.
To be naturally self confident, High self-esteem, and strong charisma.
To have greater self-motivation, to be ambitious, and to be goal-oriented.
Unfortunately though, Robin Williams is now dead, so I doubt very seriously that I'm going to be able to find another Genie who can grant my wishes. LOL!
There's different kinds of immortality, like not aging. That won't save you from an earthquake or a sinking ship.
Getting caught in an earthquake is an unrealistic example anyway, earthquakes are predictable, seismic activity is predictable, just don't live in a place where there's a lot of seismic activity, if there's an earthquake warning evacuate. An earthquake won't hit you by surprise.
Ships have life boats and vests, those will hold you till rescue arrives, it's not like it takes days for them to figure out the ship's sunk, if there's something wrong they'll know.

Some people might want to see what will happen in the future, having a real scientist's curiousity (read psychopath, yes), like I've read somewhere that at some point our milky way will collide with another galaxy, would be quite a sight to witness. Of course one wouldn't be able to fully appreciate such predicament, since there would be no one to share it with, which is a real shame. Putting it mildly It would be plain awful.

To take back lies that I have told to people I care about. To have my own place. And to have enough money and material assets to support both myself and someone else.
Comments
Like, "Fuck, I dunno what I should wish for.", or to actually fuck someone/thing?
I can't write my comment, look in the 'Whatever's on your mind' mega thread.
PC forum. I will edit this.
Nah, there's always something new in the world.
I'd say "Have fun." but you aren't immortal so...have fun in regular life.
Sorry for blank reply, I don't know how to delete them..
doesn't mean whatever you pull out is yours, or that you can use it
Changed my 2nd wish.
What's that wish supposed to even mean?
To rid these forums of the corrupt, judgy, and just plain annoying.
Corrupt? Do tell.
Judgy? That even a word? Did you mean judgemental? Being judgemental isn't inherently bad.
You meant annoying to you, right?
It is now.
As for the rest, I...don't know how to say it without people complaining at me.
Up top!
"Life is easy for you.
Now thay you have unlimited wishes.
You want for nothing.
However, this is not without it's drawbacks.
Life without adversity almost seems pointless.
You quickly descend into depression.
Everything feels too easy.
And life doesn't even seem worth living anymore.
Soon you wish for death. It's the last wish you ever make."
English doesn't work like that.
Then don't say it.
It does for me, and anyone else with a clever imagination.
I wasn't going to.
Cool cool.

Equally as bad to be submerged in water, knowing you'll die an excruciating death within the next few minutes.

that's wh two of my own wishes were immortality and invulnerability
Changed my 2nd wish...again.
To take back lies that I have told to people I care about. To have my own place. And to have enough money and material assets to support both myself and someone else.
