Pokemon Go. How is this attracting so much attention? I never thought Pokemon had a lot of fans. This game makes people make accident. Is someone who actually died because of this game?

When Pokemon released for the first time in America it was exceedingly popular, kids were going crazy for it. Pokemon has always been popular but people who play Pokemon GO are mostly the ones who grew up with Pokemon when it first came out. If you notice, you'll see that it's mostly adults playing (90's kids) and it's because those same adults were the ones who loved Pokemon back in the day when they were kids. It's nostalgic and it's what they've been waiting for since forever, being able to go out and catch Pokemon and soon being able to battle and trade with other people, it'll remain popular for a while so get used to it lol.
Although I'll agree that there have been a few accidents and all that, but it's done more good because people are actually going out instead of staying at home all day and people are meeting other fans and making new friends. It's a good and bad thing, but mostly good.

The fact that here in America, we are slowly becoming a socialist / communist Nation.
Political correctness, is having a big deal to do with that.
I hate the fact, that we have people in this country, people who are in office, who are more concerned about keeping their jobs instead of actually doing them.
I hate people who are not upfront and honest about who they are, and what they feel.
I hate the fact, that our government controls our media, and now those are other countries coming out and saying basically that our media is lying to us.
Now to be perfectly Fair, every countries media is controlled by the government. But quite honestly I feel that here in America we are getting the snow job of Our Lives.
But there is so much shit going on right now but we are not remotely aware of. Now can I prove any of that, no I can't.
I am tired of the fact that we have so many television shows nowadays that feature pretty much nothing but just outright violence, and don't have any real story behind them.
I don't mind there being some violence, and definitely action in the TV show or a movie, but the way movies are being made now a days, it feels like they're focusing more and more on the violent aspect of it, and not the story.
Personally, I absolutely hate and despise politics. I despise all the mudslinging that goes on between the political candidates, and I despise politics and itself separates people.
Personally speaking, I'd rather live with people and get along with them, is it supposed to arguing and fighting with them.
And that's why, I have chosen to just simply be an observer of what is going on, and comment about what I see going on.
Interesting read, though I disagree with your conclusions. Let's break it down.

As a dedicated Socialist and member of a dwindling Anarcho-Socialist trade union, this is certainly news to me. I don't think you understand what Socialism is. We don't want the government to tax you more and make you share. We want to abolish the boss-worker system and make sure every worker gets the full fruits of his or her labor. There's actually fierce debate going on in Socialist circles about whether identity politics and political correctness are beneficial or hindering class-consciousness.

State control of media (and corporate media in general) is bad, but not Socialistic.

Forgive me for sounding like a dreaded SJW, but American culture kinda fetishizes violence, which is partly why we have stupid, violent shows.
Personally, I absolutely hate and despise politics. I despise all the mudslinging that goes on between the political candidates, and I despise politics and itself separates people.
"The defining question in politics has always been: should there be politics?" - Karl Hess.
Yeah, it's mostly bullshit. Rich people competing amongst themselves while cooperating behind-the-scenes to advance their shared interests.
Personally speaking, I'd rather live with people and get along with them, is it supposed to arguing and fighting with them.
i feel you, we Americans have been programmed to be atomized individualists. We compete bitterly with co-workers and fawn over our exploiters for scraps of comfort and social status. What's more, we're taught to isolate ourselves with meaningless social labels and hierarchies. When this inevitably leaves a hole in our hearts, the capitalists assure us that the only way to fill it is by purchasing their largely useless products.
This is no way to live. Fufilling, independent work, voluntary cooperation and mutual aid are some of the richest things in life. Things that we often don't get enough of. That's why I'm an Anarchist, and why I think that deep-inside, you might be too.
And that's why, I have chosen to just simply be an observer of what is going on, and comment about what I see going on.

Don't compare the US with commies like the Soviets, unlike us Central and Eastern Europeans you never had to live under commie dictatorships and the Kremlin's oppression, just as EU isn't communist USA isn't either, also a lot of European nations have a lot of socialist policies that work for decades. In some nations the legal roots of universal healthcare as example can be found before the first world war happened. I'm not socialist btw, I lean more to the right of centre, my own former socialist gov messed up but that doesn't mean they are all terrible everywhere. Neither does it mean they can be grouped up with communists.

People who think they are self entitled to certain things and think they should have things just handed to them on a silver platter without trying to earn it.
Possible they give you cancer to. "Studies show there's not a statisticly credible chance to get cancer from cell phones" Its almost the same as big tobbaco's aurguments.
I'm a bit of a shut-in, and I've realized why - going out into the world, there are just so many assholes. People who talk during movies (no… moret whisper, but continually offer their commentary), who check their cellphones periodically or who, arriving late, use their phone's light to find the seat, even though the movie is nearly 1/3 over. And, one of my biggest pet peeves, who watch tv on their cellphones, oblivious while they're standing completely obliviously right in front of the subway door.
Basically, smartphones are cancer.
Okay, so this evening, I was getting ready to go on a date with my girlfriend.
But before I could do that, I had to stop and change the oil on one of the trucks that we have.
Well the first thing that went wrong, I didn't have the right oil filter, so I had to go back to the store and get the right one. And that took longer than what I thought it was going to.
Then afterward I had to crawl underneath the truck too Lube the joints on it, was just something that you should do every time you change the oil.
So I'm crawling underneath changing the oil, or I should say moving the joints, and my 12 year old dog is in the house barking and yelping because he wants to come outside and be with me.
I have just barely enough room to move around underneath the truck, and then all the sudden my dog comes walking into the garage.
What are the whole bunch of old oil that just came out of the truck lying in the oil pan. I'm under the truck trying to lose it, and my dog despite my best efforts, steps in the oil pan slips and falls at, and then not only tracks the oil all over the garage, but also pushes the laundry room door open, and tracks in part of the house as well.
So, it's already 9:20, and so I end up having to call my girlfriend and cancel our plans for the evening. Which is something I really didn't want to do, and she was disappointed that I had to do it.
If that fucking dog not been let out of the house, then that never would have happened, and I might have been able to keep my plans.
So now I'm stuck, after having had to wash them off, I'm now stuck with having to clean up his mess in the garage, and finish lubing the truck up.

Because Pokemon is a game loved by many. Mostly older people who grew up with it. I'm guessing you didn't grow up with it...
And even if it did cause a couple accidents, it's doing a lot more good than harm.
It's basically Pokemania 2.0
