I think that soren built the long staircase is because in episode 3 we found out that soren loves stairs
and in episode 7 end we have a cliffhanger of long staircase
so we will find soren in episode 8
at the top of the staircase having a meeting
or
singing a song like this

  • to make a heart open

    soren steps on pressure plates and mobs come out so jesse and the gang fights them
