If I remember correctly, Nick Herman said that was originally one of the plans, but they cut it, and ideas of having changing intros went to Borderlands.
I quite liked CounterSpy's intro. It just looks so good.
Special Mention to Jazzpunk as it has the same style to it.
Persona 4 Arena Ultimax always gets my blood pumping.
And then I guess I adore Little Big Planet 2's intro because it just speaks to my inner child... :') (forgive the fact this one says "demo" at the end; I couldn't find one of the full game [although they are basically the same].
As awful as Kane and Lynch's story was. The presentation, specifically in Dog Days, was one of the most engaging I've seen for an otherwise lackluster experience.
And the intro, whether trying to be 100lbs of edge or actually trying to present some artistic merit, genuinely got me engaged to what could've been one of the most intense intro cinematics I've ever seen.
Small victory to the dev team for the gift of an opening.

Do the intros from Telltale games count? If so:

"Those" isn't exactly true. Some of them were garbage but yet. It was quite epic. lol
Episode 4 though, so epic.
I wish they added more of the characters that were introduced in later episodes into this intro.
I used to play Burnout 3 on the Playstation 2 as a kid; I definitely had some good times with this game.
Final Fantasy 8.
I really like the Left 4 Dead intros.
