What are the best intros for telltale games in your opinion?

edited September 2016 in General Chat

There are plenty of threads about the best telltale games but about the intros? In my opinion Tales from the borderlands had the best intros because of the real music it got me hyped! My favorite was episode 2. But on your opinion what were the best intros in whatever telltale game in your opinion?

  • Not many Telltale games have intros, so it's not exactly a lot of competition. That being said, I would say that the intros for Episodes 2 and 5 of Tales from the Borderlands were incredible. Michonne's intro was also great as well.

Tales from the Borderlands episode 2 had the best intro in my opinion. The Michonne intro was also great, especially for fans of TWD comics.

  • Episode three of Minecraft Story Mode had a really cool intro. Episode seven's was cute, though. :)

  • I feel exactly the same.

Episode 2 of Tales from the Borderlands, but if you want retro I really liked Sam & Max: the devil's Playhouse's intro.

  • Tales from the Borderlands probably beats, and will continue to beat all other intros.

  • So it seems every one is going with Borderlands episode 2 and I can't blame them it was awesome!

  • Finally a Sam And Max fan. Its so hard to find favorites of the classic TTG. You know, Sam and Max is the reason I found Telltale, and because of it, I got great games like the walking dead and Tales from the Borderlands.

Episode 2 of Tales from the Borderlands, but if you want retro I really liked Sam & Max: the devil's Playhouse's intro.

  • I Just realized at the top of the thread instead of in your opinion I put on your opinion but o don't think you can fix your threads.

  • FOLK MUSIC INTENSIFIES

  • Yeah, their intro for Devil's Playhouse was definitely pretty slick as well. It was neat to see moments from past games recreated with higher production qualities.

  • THANK YOU!

  • The ominous, cold and atmospheric opening to each episode of The Wolf Among Us will always be my favorite.

  • The Atlas Mugged intro hands down.

The Michonne intro is a close second.

  • All of the tales from the borderlands intros are art.

  • The walking dead michonne intro the best in my opinion of course

  • Episode 4 of Tales from the Borderlands is all the way at the top for me.

  • Seems like you haven't played other Telltale games.

  • Tales from the Borderlands episode 4 has the best intro in my opinion but episode 5's intro got me most.

  • TFTB Episode 4 is sweet. Gives that feeling of an epic space adventure about to happen.
Michonne is 2nd, with MCSM Episode 6 in 3rd.

  • Have all my likes.

    One like basically.

  • Yeah... Also can't wait for TWAU S2, any time now.

  • He even mentioned it here that he played only Back from the Future and Minecraft, also BftB has not any intro.

  • I think 'Back to The Top' in Episode 4 of TOTB is suitably epic, has enough of a Armageddon music vibe to it for getting into space, and the moments between Rhys, Sasha, Fiona and Scooter are priceless.

Michonne and TWAU both have excellent proper openings.

I did enjoy the opening to Episode 6 of Minecraft Story Mode with the eerie music as the characters run to the haunted house.

Really like the wolf among us intro where he's just walking, with a great little soundtrack

  • The Michonne intro is a close second.

For sure! The Michonne intro was super catchy and had a lot of southern, gritty, and stylistic flair to it as well.

  • I'm not sure if I would say the Wolf intro was ominous, so to speak - I thought it gave off a more dark and gritty vibe, with a hint of fantasy. But, yeah, it was definitely a great intro.

The ominous, cold and atmospheric opening to each episode of The Wolf Among Us will always be my favorite.
