That's some good-looking RWBY. Though I'm kind of sad there's a whole time skip. It kind of makes sense, because Volume 3 had it all end on a "long journey" about to start. But now we gotta relearn whatever happened between then and now, and adapt to the changes in their characters.... Oh, who am I kidding, I'll get used to it fast, I'm sure.
Surprised to see how great the animation gets with every season. Ruby is a lot more aggressive with her fighting style than in the first trailer which is awesome and seems very symbolic, Love the fucking DYNAMIC SHADOWS, but I'm sad to see Harambe went out like a bitch in this universe.
Like the look, but... the animation itself seems clunkier, and the combat less sensical than before (flashier, but less efficient). Hate to be that guy- for a demo, this is doubtlessly impressive on a technical level- but I have yet to be convinced that the fight scenes are going to have something close to the quality shown in previous seasons.
That's because I don't think Ruby really needed to do all the fancy flips and spins with her scythe. She's improved as a fighter to a point where she can just swing and cut, so not impressive fight scenes would really be shown here, when she goes up against a real adversary like Cinder, Salem or Emerald, we'll definitely notice a change in fight quality I'm sure, because she won't be able to just mow down fighters as skilled as she is.

I love this show. - THANK YOU MONTY, YOU GOD. WE MISS YOU
They ramped up the visuals now they have bigger budgets, I love how they've planned all this for years. Kerry and Miles are awesome, so talented the both of them. And good voicing of characters too Jaune and Neptune
I don't think it's that drastic of a timeskip and they're all still doing what they were doing at the end of volume 3. Ruby's still with what's left of JNPR, Weiss is still with her father, Blake's still going solo and Yang's still at home.

You all sure do analyze the shit out of anime.

Aw yeah new character models! The visuals and animations look way better! I'm excited to see what's in store for season four.

I LOVE RWBY! This short was fantastic. It reminded me a lot of the RWBY Red trailer, Ruby just wrecking everyone. I love Ruby's new attire btw! ^_^
Try 6-8 months. That's what they said at RTX
