I love how you summed up one of my many many many issues with that in like 3 sentences, while I probably would've gone into 4 paragraphs.
Sarah, on the other hand, rewards you with... basically nothing if you save her. Just a stupid death that no one acknowledges outside of Jane and Clementine, and even then, only for about 2 minutes.
Well, saving Sarah does change the nature of the walk back conversation, has numerous instances where her presence is acknowledged, as well as,[and this what makes this topic all the more confusing,] a few optional conversations that I swear feels like further set up for something involving her, Jane, and Clementine, presumably some sort of fallout from the interaction between the three.
But yes, the fact that the situation we got does nothing for either of their characters is one of the primary things that drags her death into the unforgivable category for me.
As far as I'm concerned, Sarah is the only time in the entire game where leaving someone to die is actually the better option than saving th… moreem.
Everyone else's second deaths/determinant scenes are pretty cool. Carley/Doug, Ben, Pete, Alvin... even Nick, because at least saving him gets you the scene of Walter saving his life, some dialogue in episode 3, and what such.

Foolishness, whatever TellTalegames faults with Season two were....that was not one. Lilly and Nick were two entirely different people.
Thank you! As I previously said in reference to someone calling Jane just a Molly ripoff, any similarity between cross-Season characters is either a consciously invoked choice or a mere happy coincidence. Almost any statements that the new character is just ripoff is only really relevant to Season 1 junkies. (I don't mean to be mean but that's what it comes across as.)

The fact that Lilly could still help lead the group even with Kenny in it points to a very strong sense of purpose. It was only after the thefts and the Loss of everything that they had worked so hard to gather that she fell apart and acted out in anger.
In many ways Lilly is one of the best characters in TWD.
Nick watched his mother get bitten by someone who had been bitten by a walker. His actions towards Clementine and Matthew are actions of a young hothead who also has a fear of watching loved ones die. It is easy to lump Nick as a fuck up and disregard him. But that is a simplistic view. From conversations with other characters, there was more that… [view original content]
Yeah, the models want to kill themselves and then it's game over....... Seriously dude? I just don't like seeing these things in video games or reality, if this was real my reaction wouldn't be the same.
I'm sorry, but I can't agree with someone who is annoyed by depressed people. They are going through hell they feel worthless and dead inside, they don't want to live anymore, and IT BOTHERS YOU!? YOU'RE THE ONE THAT IS SUFFERING, NOT THEM!?

Hence why the treatment of Sarah and Arvo by Jane, Kenny, and their following genuinely concerns me. Not to mention the fact that its highly hypocritical.

Maybe. I never truly figured out what fascism entails, but I assume it basically means you're this, so I don't like you and you're wrong for being that way.
The complaining that Luke seemed to have gotten no matter what he did seems like fascism (is that the proper term?) to me.
Isn't that the thing the Nazi did?

(sometimes initial capital letter) a governmental system led by a dictator having complete power, forcibly suppressing opposition and criticism, regimenting all industry, commerce, etc., and emphasizing an aggressive nationalism and often racism.
2.
(sometimes initial capital letter) the philosophy, principles, or methods of fascism.
3.
(initial capital letter) a political movement that employs the principles and methods of fascism, especially the one established by Mussolini in Italy 1922–43.
1 A way of organizing a society in which a government ruled by a dictator controls the lives of the people and in which people are not allowed to disagree with the government
Edit: Besides, it's not bad to dislike a person by the way they are, everyone dislikes some people, and that's not fascist. Fascism is when you try to kill and torture EVERY SINGLE MEMBER OF A SOCIAL GROUP JUST BECAUSE THEY ARE JEWISH, BACK, HOMOSEXUAL, or any other estupid excuse everyone else is willing to believe because reasons. That's fascism.

Okay, that's basically my thought as well. Whatever the proper word may be, I', referring to the fact that some of the complaints and reasons for hating Luke regardless of the episode I've seen seem to be unfairly hating on him for being an older, supposedly good-looking, precocious, white dude hanging around Clementine, a young, cute, heroic, black girl, and being a generally friendly and helpful nice guy towards her.

Marty Stu is the male equivalent and it is just as prevalent and recognized, such as Daryl from the television series, or Paul "Jesus" Monroe.
As much as some feminists would want, this is not an example of sexism.
To be honest no they dont but characters like that are more and more seen as boring and overpowered, generic action movies with generic male heroes are not as popular today compared to some time ago. Having an overpowered and seemingly perfect female character seems to be more of a problem at the moment. Writers seem to be trying to make up for years of weak female characters by making perfect people who are completely unrelatable.

But that's not fascism either, that's genocide, the act of killing people of a certain origin in large numbers. Fascism is an extreme right wing form of nationalism, where a one party government are in absolute power over the state. While fascism has often been associated with the Nazis and racism, Hitler's version was actually a different form of fascism, that being Nationalism Socialism/Nazism.

You're acting foolishly ignorant. I am not discussing the history of fictional media—I'm discussing a literary trope that applies to both men and women.

You're both fucking crazy.
Molly was, is, and always will be 2 legit 2 quit.
I'm taking that as a compliment
Aw, shucks!
In my opinion, Jane is more interesting and has much more substance and complexity to her than Molly ever did.
Yeah, but did Jane have a sweet pick-axe named Hilda?
Oh yeah?
Well, Jane had...
she had a...
a uh...
she had a knife
…right, because all shallow badasses have an iconic weapon!

And a screwdriver/icepick! Very effective.
So, a person is depressed, they want to kill themselves AND YOU ARE THE ONE THAT GETS ANNOYED!? WTF!?

Who?
Rashid and Vanessa.
And that's a bad thing why?
Because it's unrealistic and stereotypical.
Well, so are zombies...
Okay, I'll give you that one.
Why is it when a man does some cool stuff everyone is like cool....when a woman does it...it is Mary Sue this and the writers hate men that?
How about Kenny giving AJ pneumonia? That would have been worth a fight.

Yes it is because nobody ever says anything when the guy does something...it is only brought up when it is a female.

That I will agree with you on. It just irks me that people will actively harp on female characters.
That's still not fascist.
I know, just couldn't think of a proper word.
