Wait. TWD3 is going to be MORE user friendly?! Oye. I don't think I want to know really.
In that context of my post, I meant that they are making the story more accessible for new players by including a new original character in addition to Clementine. Kinda like Devil's Playhouse, they are making the story a soft(-ish) reboot so that newer players can hop on, and are abandoning the title Season 3 for a new subtitle (just as Sam and Max's third Season was called Devil's Playhouse instead of Season 3, Walking Dead's third Season is called New Frontier instead of Season 3).
For modern Telltale games, I don't really take into account user mechanics any more since those are already simplified as is. If I say something like that for a modern Telltale game, assume I'm only talking about the story unless I specify otherwise.
It's funny - for the third Season of both Sam and Max and Walking Dead, Telltale feels the need to get post-modern and reinvent themselves.
I agree. While I love the first two seasons, they both have at least a couple puzzles that resemble old adventure game logic and that's not… more something you want to jump into head first before getting used to how much looser science is in adventure games.

I was in a minority that did not like Tales from the Borderlands. Actually, I bought it when I was crazy about Borderlands, then I started to get bored of the series.
Okay, Telltale does seem to like killing characters that everybody loves...But they will NOT kill Clementine, they just... can't. They are not complete monsters... I hope.
(This was mainly a joke, I wasn't trying to insult anyone)
Even with my slight frustrations with their Batman game. It is one of their best games they've come out with besides Tales as of recent. Really wish they fixed a lot of technical stuff and actually let more exploration happen.
1) The Walking Dead: Season One
2) Tales from the Borderlands
3) The Walking Dead: Season Two
4) The Wolf Among Us
5) The Walking Dead: Michonne Series
(There's a chance to change the list when Season Three gets released)
Of course, I'll be playing GoT season 2, because I'm a fan of the company, but it just doesn't compare imo. Also, haven't played older ttg (did play 3 eps of jurassic park and have played 1 ep of bttf)
Okay, my list has changed so I'll post it again.
* The Walking Dead Season 3: A New Frontier. (Like @Karnedg2013 said, I already know i… moret will be, deal with it)
* The Walking Dead Season 1.
* The Walking Dead Season 2.
* The Wolf Among Us. (Only played episode one)
* Minecraft: Story Mode. (Only played up to episode 4)
Mine based simply on my my personal love for the games.
1) Sam and Max (Devil's Playhouse is possibly my favourite)
2) Tales from the Borderlands (The best final episode to an episodic game i've ever seen)
3) Minecraft: Story Mode (it's honestly really good, especially near the end episodes and the DLC ones).
4) The Wolf Among Us
5) The Walking Dead S1/S2
I haven't played GOT (I know, shame on me), so it's between Minecraft or BTTF, neither of which are that amazing, so I'll keep it to a top 4 and get back to you.

I The Walking Dead S1
Of the 5 series that are fully complete with a focus on choice:
So does this mean Clementine is going to die?

Well, I can only base it on the games I've played, so...
EDIT: Forgot to include Michonne.
1: Minecraft: Story Mode. It's the only game I've ever seen that the plot is driven by your choices more than predetermined in development.
2: Back To The Future. It is based off of one of my favorite movies.
Honorable mention: Wolf Among Us
I enjoy all of Telltale's choice-based gems, but these are my pics.
1) The Walking Dead: Season One
2) Tales from the Borderlands
3) The Walking Dead: Season Two
4) The Wolf Among Us
5) The Walking Dead: Michonne Series
(There's a chance to change the list when Season Three gets released)
