Well Im guessing its safe to say the 22nd we will get episode 4!
Also, as much as many people probably didnt want Joker in this series, this is actually good news. This seems like he isn't going to be truly Joker yet. He will probably just stay at the Asylum and basically be a guest star. Why is this good? Season 2 fellas. Introducing Joker like this really makes me think that we will get a season 2.
They've clearly been planning on Joker and Arkham since Episode 1, the mention of the ACE Chemicals fire then confirmed that. And with any luck Arkham can have more aspects than just Joker. I'm gunning for Doctor Harleen Quinzel and Doctor Jonathan Crane to help with the check ups for patients...
Let's send Brucie to Arkham. That is where Joker must be. Fans love him, let's show them Joker. Even if he's not important part of story. Just like that punk from "Suicide Squad".
"I've been watching you for a while now, Bruce."
Which voice actor is that?
Hope nobody is too disappointed that the Clown Prince of Crime is showing up this month.

I really wished they had not done this....Joker has been done to death....unless he is in just a small part...it could hurt the villains we already have.
Don't jump to conclusions quite yet, guys. I think this is a red herring.
That voice and laugh could easily belong to a number of other villains: Victor Zsasz, Arnold Wesker/Scarface, Riddler, etc. We'll see tomorrow, but I'm convinced Telltale's still toying with us.
I do think its weird they would spoil Joker appearing, but it cant really be anyone else. It seems like we will see whoever it is talking in the trailer tomorrow though.
I arrived at my house, and casually checked my phone. I received a Tweet from Telltale, and then I ascended to The Ogrelord's Swamp. These surprise updates seriously wreck my heart.
So um, quick thoughts. It appears that we'll definitely be getting episode four on the 22nd. I can't quite place the voice that sounded in the trailer, but whoever it was, they sounded good. The "no joke" comment awhile back made it seem to me that the Joker will not appear. Now, I'm not quite sure. I wouldn't mind too much either way as long as he holds a fitting role in the story. If he does make an appearance, I can't quite see him take on an all encompassing place in the plot. For some reason though, I have the feeling that it could all possibly turn out to be an elaborate ruse. Telltale is like the opposite of a genie: instead of twisting your words, they twist their own. Ah, but the hype keeps on building! I can make it to tomorrow without having a breakdown. Totally!
Did you guys not listen to the teaser? The voice sounds awesome. I honestly despise this Mark Hamill elitism, there are other voice actors out there, and better ones as well.
I haven't seen the trailer. I like to be surprised. But if the voice did sound awesome, I will look forward to hear it.
I am not trying to be a Mark Hamill elitist, but I just love Mark Hamill's voice as the Joker. That doesn't mean I am not open to other voice actors portraying him. Troy Baker did a great job voicing the Joker in Arkham Origin, so I am open to other actors voicing him too.

My reply was more towards @Kennyshouladiedins1, because it sounded like they basically called everyone who isn't Mark Hamill or another famous Joker portryer a hack and unfit to play the Joker. I like Mark Hamill's voice too, but I really like the voice in the teaser as well.

Can anyone really blame them for wanting to use the Joker (if it is indeed him)? Regardless of whether you think he's overused or overrated, he's arguably the most iconic villain in pop culture. Anyone would jump at the chance to use him, and there's no guarantee they'll have future seasons. As some have said, I wouldn't be surprised if it is a one-time appearance confined to the asylum. Either way, I loved the teaser. Can't wait for the trailer

But ACE Chemicals has always been a location connected to the Joker, in most versions of his origin it's where he was 'created', effectively, whether that's as the gangster Jack Napier, a struggling comedian possibly named Joseph Kerr, or some other takes. Of course it might be that the Children of Arkham started the fire, not him. No doubt we'll get some aspects of back story for him over time.
That would be my biggest worry too. Telltale is doing a fantastic job on doing solid new takes on Oswald/Penguin and Harvey/Two-Face, I don't want Joker to steal their thunder yet again.

I guess it might depend on what you told her to do after the fight with Harvey? I am currently regretting not inviting her to Wayne Manor. Not sleeping with her, not so much (though thanks for throwing me into Arkham anyway Harvey, you jerk!).
From the achievements name we only spend two chapters in the asylum. I wonder how fucked up Batman's going to become after its asylum trip.
… more
Curious to see what role Catwoman will play as well, assuming she appears physically (that would be weird if she didn't).
You see you point out something very interesting : the choice you give her at the end does not seem to matter much at all because it's not there in the list of choices, usually Telltale clearly establish some choices as being pivotal and this does not appear to be one of them.
No matter what you tell her she's probably going to be back, but her tone and motivations could differ depending on how close you got with her.
I can only assume if you rejected her all throughout she will just save you and perhaps help Gotham in a quest for redemption, but if you showed how much you cared for her everything she does will be colored by love. I mean she can't possibly go back to the life she used to lead because of all the things she said in Episode 3. From a narrative standpoint it just does not make sense, her story arc would be very weird. I can see her dying or sacrificing herself if you acted coldly towards her.
I just hope Telltale won't kill her no matter what you did. Such a character deserves to live.

Did I miss something in the teaser, why does that have to be The Joker?

I suspect they'll reveal who is playing Joker tomorrow alongside the release of the full trailer, unless it's kept a secret until release.
I mean, crazy guy, smiles, laughing, jokes. Those are things that relate to Joker.
I knew it.
Not sure if I should be happy about this.
Exactly, a little too obvious, don't you think? Telltale are usually subtle about these things lol
Telltale would be pulling a huge joke if it weren't the Joker.
You don't know that. Maybe someone else started a fire. Maybe Firefly.

I hope so haha. I would've preferred finding out during the episode.
I'm guessing it's just a cameo, if it is him.
Troy Baker as: Everyone.
Could be zsasz in the preview as well
'tis just a flesh wound!
Did anyone else notice the play on words? "The welcoming committee's really gone to Hill around here!"
I thought he said gone down hill

I honestly had to no idea what he said there at all lmao

Watch Joker just be Bruce's subconscious because of the drug like Arkham Knight.
Heard it here first.
If Joker is coming, I hope it will be Mark Hamil voicing him. That will be excellent.
Probably be some hack...it is so hard to find a good voice actor for Joker.

It was Adam Harrington voicing Joker. Watch guys...

I would gladly support that.

Ok, I'm relieved that it could still be the 22nd. I can sleep now.

No it was a joke because Troy Baker who plays Batman is a great Joker as well. You need to know your actors
Is it too much to ask for a Gilbert Gottfried Joker?
Imagine his spine chilling rendition of "Let's put a Smile on that face! Why... so... serious?!?"

He did do a fantastic job as Joker in Arkham Origins, but it's not him this time. Guess we'll find out tomorrow?
