New to the community and have a few questions?

Hello everyone,

Very recent fan of TellTale, completing GOT and TFTB in the past two days, in two single sittings, I literally could not stop myself. The only prior exposure I had too TellTales games were the first two seasons of TWD, but, didn't play them myself and watched let's plays which doesn't give you the same experience.

Anyway since I'm new I'm not very knowledgeable on these games so just thought I'd ask a few questions, too some things playing on my mind.

  1. How long roughly are seasons between TellTale games? (Hard to answer since not many have had more than two but, thought Id ask just incase)

  2. Is a season two of Tales From The Borderlands possible? (I REALLY hope it is :( )

  3. What are the future plans for TellTale games, other than season 3 of TWD? (Not sure if anyone would know any information about this)

  4. Any general information I should know, or would be useful? (Vague but, pretty self explanatory :D)

Very random but, yea just wanting to get an idea of what's going on! :D

Random Notes
I finished TFTB 4 hours ago, I am having post - game depression I think, in a post earlier I said how it's the single best game I have ever played no exceptions and I already miss it so much. Also, how good was that soundtrack! :o

Welcome to the forums! I shall answer your questions now.

How long roughly are seasons between TellTale games?

If you're asking how long a Telltale game is, it usually releases in the span of one year.

Is a season two of Tales From The Borderlands possible?

    No.

What are the future plans for TellTale games, other than season 3 of TWD?

Well, there's GoT season 2 and a new Marvel game. But other than that, IDK.

Any general information I should know, or would be useful?

    Here are the rules

  • I really appreciate you taking the time to answer!

Can I just ask why, TFTB S2 is not possible? Was kind of expecting this but, don't know why?

  • Well, nothing's been confirmed about there being a season 2...yet.

So I think it's safe to say there isn't gonna be a S2.

Season 2 is hard to confirm because its not Telltale's decision on whether to make a new season or not, its gearboxes (Borderlands devs) say.

  • Ah, ok I see why its a bit more complicated then, thank you.

How long roughly are seasons between TellTale games?

Do you mean how long are they active for, or how long the average play time is?

If it's the second option then I think these are accurate:

    TWD S1: 12 Hours.
    TWD S2: 9 Hours.
    TWD M: 4 Hours.
    TFTBL: 10 Hours.
    TWAU: 9 Hours.
    GoT: 12 Hours.
MC:SM: 12 Hours. (Including the Adventure Pass)

Is a season two of Tales From The Borderlands possible?

Well, I don't see why not. It was very successful. So I think it might happen sometime.
