  • I think what's always been the most disturbing about Victor Zsasz to me is that he's so believable. You can easily imagine a guy in real life whose deranged enough to cut nicks in his flesh when he murders dozens of people. Or imagine him fitting nicely with all the psychos in the Outlast game.

  • Does anyone else have the horrible feeling we might have to choose between saving Gordon or Alfred? Because I realised that's a terribly evil choice they could use to keep shaking things up, imagining a Batman/Bruce without the support of Alfred or Gordon. His surrogate father (after the revelation with his parents this could set him down a dark path if he loses his best moral compass) or the man who is his greatest ally in the GCPD (and may well mean the police continue to perceive him as a threat).

  • In the trailer,Gordon is arrested,so maybe the choice would be Free Gordon/Help Alfred at the manor

  • Maybe but in Game of Thrones, trailers and screenshots showed Royland as sentinel and majority didn't pick that.

Another thing to keep in mind is that Telltale usually do their trailers with the majority choices; IE showing burned Harvey, because a majority of players saved Selina.

  • They don't always do it, but most of the time they do.

  • I think it also varies by the artistic liberties they wanna take with each trailer, as well. Like, with Minecraft: Story Mode, they switched between using Male and Female Jesse at different points.

  • The trailer gives off some vibes of the more exaggerated Joker, as opposed to the grounded and realistic Joker you would see from the Nolan movies. That's kinda interesting too, as the earlier episodes seemed to go for a more grounded vibe.

  • RIght now it seems like the day they have some news about Walking Dead 3 is the same day pigs start to fly and Donald Trump becomes a muslim

I guess we will get news about walking dead 3 before episode 4

  • I think it would be a bad move of TellTale to make positive characters from a franchise into villains. They can show grey areas of well-known characters, but not completely change their characters. That's my opinion

I really hope they don't do that, because that's usually always how stuff like this turns out. Not everyone is secretly a hero. In my opinon

  • Holy shit, why didn't anyone tell me we'll get news today!?

  • Well, sure, but Thomas Wayne isn't really a character. He's a posthumous character. All we know about him is he died in front of his son and everyone believes he was a great guy. That doesn't change here, we just find out that he was secretly dirty. It's not like we find out that Gordon is on the take or anything.

  • I just saw that it was uploaded in 2009.

I wonder if that's how Telltale found their Joker?

  • I don't know if they'd put you in a position to potentially kill Jim off before he's able to actually become the Commissioner, but you never know with Telltale's Batman..

  • I could believe that to be the case, with the risk to the life of the person you don't save, or even their death. Though if there was a death scene I would want to be there for some final words (either Batman or Bruce for Alfred, or Batman for Gordon, maybe with the option to reveal your identity).

  • I think the idea is interesting because you would wonder how Batman's relationship with the police might change. Renee might still be around and have become more willing to accept Batman, but who else would? Batman's position as a dangerous vignette might still continue.

  • The worst part is that joker will only help Bruce Wayne to escape from Arkham asylum but what if he came to know that batman is Bruce Wayne we would get to see a real brawl

  • Wait when in the trailer or any where did it say Joker will help Bruce?

  • The official description not so subtly hints at Joker being involved in Bruce's escape from the asylum.

I just caught up on the series and am now ready for ep4 (because of late android release).

    So hyped

  • That trailer tho! Joker is finally here, not as a major charecter it seems. And yet another Selina x Bruce scene. So damn hyped! Batman's hundreds of companions, the bats were with him in a scene. Wow wow wow. How can ttg always manage to create such awesome stories with any charecter they choose

  • Yes, definitely.

Hey, Martini is played by Danny DeVito. Danny DeVito was the Penguin in Batman Returns. Therefore, Martini = Oz.

Now is Vicki Vale Miss Ratched? And who's R.P. McMurphy? I'm not sure Bruce has the power to match him.

So, does that make Blockbuster Chief?

  • "Um, um, well, y-y-y-you d-d-d-don't have to t-t-t-tell her, Miss Ratched."

It's a mental image I will never unsee.

It's funny, actually, yesterday I mentionedOne Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest in another thread. I never thought anyone else would too!

Hey moderator! What is it with thier support article after the trailer it had clearly been showing that the mobile devices will also get the release at the same day when it releases for other platform but now thier support article is mentioning comming soon???
Will we mobile users ever get a fixed release date

  • Also, it probably makes a little more sense to have the guy who had half his face burned off that going with SWAT around screwing up the city.

I'm not entirely sure Harvey will have police force if it doesn't have his face.

  • I'm keeping my fingers crossed that since we'll be seeing The Joker, we will also see his therapist; Dr. Harleen Quinzel. hint hint!

  • Anyone notice that Two-Face's bodyguards have a Two-Face logo on their arms? One side has black background with a white face while the other half has a black face and red background.

I'm not entirely sure they will be in the game, well, in the same form, if you stopped Harvey from getting half his face burned off.

Moderators aren't involved in what is written on the support articles so i don't know why they say different things.

  • I would love that! They'd have the option of giving Batgirl a more Robin like upbringing, or she could even become a female Robin if they didn't want to include Dick Grayson (though I would be sad to lose him). That said, after all which has happened I doubt that Bruce Wayne would be considered a suitable parent to the people of Gotham...

  • Wow that would be really fantastic but Gordon is such a pivotal character in the Batman universe I can't imagine Telltale killing him. Besides Barbara must already be quite old, enough to live on her own.

  • That reminds me a bit of The Long Halloween graphic novel. That was so grounded and realistic, but the creator's purposefully placed the more outlandish villains in it and exaggerated them to sort of contrast them with the actual narrative. It can definitely work, and makes sense if Joker is more of a cameo/tease for potential future stories.

  • So I just got a random prediction I heard there is a universe where Bruce and Selina had a kid so during the romance scene maybe Bruce did not use um... protection and maybe they will have a kid (except for the people who decided not to romance her).
