I feel like a lot of you don't realize that it's not Telltale's fault if Steam takes a while to download the new episode. Once Telltale pass the game over to Steam, it's up to the Steam servers to push it out to the public.
That would only be an acceptable excuse if it was available on anything other than Sony's PS4 right now. As is, it comes across as if they cut a deal and didn't bother to tell anyone.

Execpt for no, Telltale have the resposnibility to communicate with there customers and they also have to inform valve (owners of steam) about the release ahead of time so that they can punch that button.

I agree that Telltale should post an update! I'm just clearing things up for those who think that Telltale are choosing to not give it to other users on purpose.

They should communicate with their customers, yes, I think they've had that problem for a long time now. I'm fairly certain that Telltale would've given Valve a release time beforehand, but this isn't the first time that an episode has been delayed for their games... painful, I know. I hate the wait.

As far as I am aware Episode 4 has not released on PC on any platform. For example, Steam and GOG. I would think that they are holding the release back to fix some very last minute optimizations so they are able to after this release work on episode 5 to release before Christmas so they are able to have Christmas and new year off. As with getting Episode 4 and Episode 5 before the end of the year as well as the new Walking Dead Season 3 Episode 1 releasing before the Holliday seasons, a mad rush and late release of all these PC releases is expected.
Although if they were to not release Batman Episode 4 before Midnight GMT, UK time, everyone is welcome to report this to the UK Advertising Standards Agency.
As much as I hate to say it, there's not much anyone on the mod team can do.
We're just volunteers. Just random folks Telltale decided to make moderators. We might be able to get into touch with them a bit easier, but ultimately, whatever they do is up to Telltale themselves; the ball's in their park.
When they give us an update on what's going on, we'll make sure you guys hear it as soon as possible. That's all we can really do in this situation, unfortunately.
Great job telltale. First you lie to your customers about TWD releasing in November and now this. You told me Batman episode 4 comes out on the 22nd of November. How can we trust you guys if you operate this shady. No communication. Im going to sleep. You only care about money. Your fans can go fuck themselfs right? Thanks telltale.
Its the same with all major developers, none of them have the manpower to respond to every request for communication in this day and age. it would require a division to do so, and for crunch time they may be spending 80 hour work weeks on the job, sleeping at the office to make your two hours of enjoyment. All we can do is trust that they are doing the best they can, which is all we can ask for.
We don't want them to respond to every person, we want them to make an official statement admitting whatever happened and apologizing for the fact that they are still pretending everything is normal. One person could do that. None have. It says a lot about this company.

Guys having a temper tantrum isn't going to do shit. Clearly something went wrong, and they are working on it. Really shouldn't have to be something they have to spell out to people.
It's not like the mods have any say in the matter. They are not part of the Telltale Staff, so I don't know what you expect them to do.
And yes, I'm still waiting for the episode to release on PC.
The team is working on Episode 4 - working to release it in conjunction with a performance patch (!).
It should be arriving later today (today meaning PST, which may be tomorrow depending on your time zone/region).
Sorry I couldn't get to this thread to update you earlier!
Hey - I missed your tweets today and I'm sorry. As you can imagine our notifications have kind of blown up today with the TWD announcement.
I gave an update on Episode 4 on Steam down-thread, but the basic message is this: the team is working on episode 4 on Steam to release in conjunction with a performance patch, and it should be available later today (PST).

I mean the thing that bother me is the lack of communication from telltale side
That would only be an acceptable excuse if it was available on anything other than Sony's PS4 right now. As is, it comes across as if they cut a deal and didn't bother to tell anyone.
It's not just steam it's Xbox 360 as well having problems

Let's not. It's only 1 PM in Telltale's timezone (Pacific).

3 more hours and they'll have missed their supposed release date in the UK.
Two more hours til midnight here in Sweden. (Don't think they will make that mark though...)
I think you're taking it too far.
I don't
Still no reply to any tweets..it seems like they've run for the hills including the mods. Don't get why no ones telling us anything...it's mad.
Already 23rd morning here . No release yet
If they miss the release date are we legally entitled to a refund since they failed to do as advertised and didn't communicate at all?

As as a trade description act on apple or steam..more than likely..they're treating us fans like complete tools
Ignoring tweets and facebook messages. Not bothered at all...
Yeah this is really ridiculous.
This will be my last telltale game

This happens every time, it sucks, but we all need to learn an iota of patience.

Patience requires trust. That trust has been heavily strained by the complete communications blackout from telltale.

According to a few people, the PC release is out everywhere but Steam though.

Ooo boy! Some news!
Thank you Glad I didn't get worked up over this (mostly because I just got on my computer and just saw it)
