  • I don't know man, Umbrella Corps was released on Steam and that game made me cry hysterically.

Oh we're talking about tears of sadness? I thought we were talking tears of pain and agony.

Life is Strange wasn't really close to making me cry when compared to TWD. But I saw a thread in Steam for LiS getting the award. Alot of people are doing it.

He was your best friend, and you want to eat him?

To be honest, I think it's weird how they framed it, though. Shouldn't they of buried it or something?

  • Wait, they framed it? I had no idea. I guess I didn't get that far in the "Minecraft: Telltales Funniest Death Scene" video.

Funniest...death? Have you seen the previous episodes?

  • This is what I was worried about. What about on the TWD Steam forums, are people encouraging others to vote for TWD?

  • Yeah, I saw after I posted the comment. This is exactly what I was saying earlier, with LiS being the more recent game, and having way better marketing than any Telltale game pretty much combined, LiS is practically a guaranteed win for that award.

  • LiS didnt make me cry. What's there to cry about?
But for the 'Whoa, Dude' Award, i did choose LiS Episode 4. Very intense episode and i loved it

  • Apparently that last choice of sacrificing Chloe was very emotional for some people because of how hella amazeballs she was.

  • I had a tough time choosing between Danganronpa 2 and Zero Escape: The Nonary Games for the "Whoooaaaaaaa, dude!” Award because the plot twists in both were great.

  • Both endings were pretty trash, either throw away all your choices, or basically throw away all your choices and dont even look for survivors.

Apparently that last choice of sacrificing Chloe was very emotional for some people because of how hella amazeballs she was.

  • I agree, both endings were awful, it's just that some people do find the Sacrifice Chloe ending to be very emotional, regardless of the fact that it nullifies every choice you made.

  • Okay, these are my votes.

Test of Time Award: Portal 2.

I'm not crying, there's something in my eye Award: The Walking Dead Season one.

Whoooaaaaa, dude! Award: The Wolf Among Us.

Best Use of a Farm Animal Award: Minecraft: Story Mode.

That's bro, bro Award: Tales from the Borderlands.

And I'm still deciding on the other ones.

  • Ah, i didnt sacrifice her. Well, if i did, i wouldn't have cried because Chloe is an a$$hole, even to Max, sometimes.

  • The "I'm not crying, there's something in my eye." - Walking Dead

The "Villain in most need of a hug" - Batman

  • It was emotional for me because I related it to my life and how I'd react to a situation like that and what I'd choose, not to mention both choices suck one way or another so it was a difficult choice for me personally.

LiS more emotional than The Walking Dead... you're funny mang.

Also, what's up with the last choice? You're supposed to vote for Tales in the "That's bro, bro" category not TWD.

  • test of time: final fantasy 4

not gonna cry; waking dead season 1.

5 more minutes: baldurs gate 2

Whoooaaaaaaa, dude!”: oxenfree. to be fair i did not really understand this one.

    villain needs a hug; lisa.

game within a game; danganronpa 2

I Thought This Game Was Cool Before It Won An Award: i could not think of anything for this one so i voted to the moon.

best use of a farm animal; sam and max season 1. this is mostly for episode 2.

  • Well I was more attached to LIS for the most part and Chloe. I cried quite a bit in episode 4 when she was paralyzed and told me to kill her, I refused and she gave me a long speech. I cried when I talked to Kate in the hospital that prevents suicide. I cried tons at the end of episode 5. I cried once during Season 1 at the end. In my viewpoint LIS is a game that is based around emotion, WD is based around horror/survival. Sorry but I didn't like Tales.

  • Basically the Whoa Dude category is a game that had the best plot twist. A twist that was amazing, made you drop the controller and say whoa dude. I had that effect in the Would You Kindly twist in Bioshock. I nominated Bioshock Infinite though cause that was an even better twist. I chose Bioshock for villain in need of a hug/best written villain. That game came out in 2007 and to this day I say that Andrew Ryan is the best written gaming villain ever. He's actually a tragic character.

  • I loved the characters and felt that Sacrafice Chloe should have been the only choice. It wasn't a waste of time as you got to spend one final week with your best friend. Look at the entire picture, Chloe nearly dies in every episode and she is meant to die for a bigger cause. In every scenario she had no happy ending.

It was emotional for me because I related it to my life and how I'd react to a situation like that and what I'd choose, not to mention both choices suck one way or another so it was a difficult choice for me personally.
