Closure on characters unknown or dead...
Whenever i watch a tv show/film or in this case, a game like TWD, I always want to see closure for any departing character, just so i can be satisfied with his or her exits. What characters from Telltales TWD if they were to ever somehow return would you want to see closure on and why? This can be currently unknown status characters or even deceased characters that you may have felt unsatisfied by their deaths due to wanting more closure for them.
My list:
Lilly - I'd say i was satisfied with Lilly's departure although at the same time i'd like to see her back in season 3 just to see how different she might be after all this time, i'd want to see how she'd react to seeing Clem and finding out about Lee and the rest of the group. I felt that there are still unanswered questions such as if she regretted killing Carley/Doug, if she had forgiven Lee/Kenny, or anything else that could be given input.
Christa - like with a lot of people, i was not satisfied with Christa's departure due to the mystery surrounding her exit. We still do not know if she is dead or got away from the scavengers. If she were to somehow come back I would want a detailed explanation how she got away and where she's been without a "i got lucky, real lucky" excuse. For proper closure i'd also want to finally know what happened to her baby, even knowing if Omid was put down before reanimation (even though i am 99% certain he was because how could you leave a friend to turn?), more Clem/Christa discussion about the 16 months they spent together and i'd love for Christa to find out that Kenny had survived back in Savannah.
Vernon - Vernon was always an interesting one for me. Ever since playing 400 days and discovering from Joyce that "we lost Vernon with that damn boat", i have always questioned like many others whether or not Vernon is actually dead given how unclear this line was. He's probably not considered important enough to matter but i have always wanted closure on what happened to him, whether he decided to take the boat for himself or something else happened. Something we will likely never know.
Molly - like with Lilly, i think her exit was fitting enough and doesn't need to return but again if she were to magically reappear, i would like it for reminiscing reasons I suppose.
The 400 Days characters - a lot of people may not be bothered but i'd love to see these characters back as i felt they all relatively have question marks over things that happened with them during that DLC such as learning more background to the characters instead of half assed info I felt we got from 400 Days. Also i really want to find out what happened to Nate and Eddie.
Feel free to share. Thanks!

Apologies if this has been discussed before
You shouldn't apologise, this is a good thread and i havent seen it discussed in my viewing.
i'll respond to yours and ill give mine
Now my ones.
Chuck: I feel he had a lot more then what he was given, he was a drunk yes, but he knew how to live in the world and was always there for everyone that he trusted. I feel they killed him off to try and bring Christa and Omid into the game and only introduced him to give Lee advice. I think had they not brought in Christa and Omid, Chuck could've been the one who got sick or hurt and they needed to go get him medicine. plus it would've been good to make Lee tell the group that Chuck died, because after he finds Chuck, he never mentions it to the group, so for all the group knew, Chuck could've still been alive.
Ben: Im happy that Ben got a lot of screen time and big storylines, but i feel his death was poorly written . He was starting to redeem himself, and the problem was that he could've been a character that evolved into a stronger character and the problem was that because they made the storyline with Clementine getting kidnapped, they had to kill off characters or separate characters so it was just Lee and Clementine at the end. And Ben was killed off. I feel he should've at least been in season 2 as a more mature, older smarter and stronger man.
Stranger : I would've liked to have known his conversations with Clementine, and his movements following the group because he obviously had it all set up with the marsh house. Would've been interesting to see how he planned it all out.
Terry: Who? Yeah, Brenda St Johns husband. It unused voice clips, it was revealed that Terry was killed by a walker, but too me his life and death are mysterious in a way off could he have been killed of for food? I know it's crazy, but with the way the st johns were, anything was possible.
Mark: Seeing the back story of the group finding Mark and the supplies he gave to them and how he settled in would've been good. Plus, i feel he should've been in episode 3 like he was suppose to be instead of being killed in episode 2.
Honestly in many cases it is a better storytelling technique to not give complete closure on some things and allow the audience to form their own conclusion. If Clementine was still going to be in the same general area that she was in season 1 and even parts of season 2 it wouldn't bother me too teribly much to cross paths again. However for instance in Lilly's case the last time Clem saw her was about four years earlier in Georgia and it would seem just a little too convienent for Clem to suddenly run into her now.
Having that happen once with Kenny is enough in my opinion.
But that's the point, right? Kenny fans could get to keep him, and the others can get rid of him in their stories if they want. It should be a win-win for everyone. I myself would like to have Kenny around as much as possible.
Highly unlikely. ANF's spotlight is focused on Javier.
Wow, that's a little bit harsh and biased, don't you think? It's all perspective. Some people say Kenny was the villain (which I highly disagree with). I myself am glad of the spotlight Kenny had in S2, in my opinion S2 would've been awful without him.
Well that's why I think they made Kenny determinant in S2. They knew some people would be tired of him. If they do it right, ANF could be a great Season, or a complete fail. It's their chance to show us our decisions matter. They've had two years to work on it. S2 only took a year to make.
I second this statement.
Ok so if anyone, who would you like closure on? Dead or alive. That was the basic concept of my thread
Aditionally, now that most survivors have setled in communities, if any of the people who you've met before are still alive (chances are that at least some of them are), it's very, very, very likely that they're residing in one of those communities. Since most of the communities have some sort of communication channel between them all, finding someone you once knew on one of those aglomerates of alive people isn't that inconcievable.
And besides, it's very unlikely for a survivor to stay in the same place for too much time if they don't reside in a community. I doubt that Lilly just stood in Georgia during all these years.
Just saying that meeting someone we had know before will not be breaking reality as we know it : p.
In the Jane ending if you do not agree or disagree to let the family in...Jane will let them in....it is an interesting choice that points to her willing to try another group and grow...best ending for her imo.
I think Chuck will be back in S3.
Kenny. I walked away with him so i want to know what happened to him/where he is.
Lilly
Living in boxcars, drinking booze, and smashing walkers with shovels. Who else but Chuck.
Actually the comic makes a point of saying what Rick's group did was extremely unique. Pretty much all the survivors within the Alexandria area originated from that area or at least the state of Virginia. Also Stephanie told Eugene that most all the survivors from that community in Ohio (be it Wellington or not) came from the general area as well and had been there practically from the beginning.
Indeed. That was two years into the apocalypse, though.
After the comic two year timeskip (4 years in), though, we see a lot of new faces in Alexandria Safe-Zone and Hilltop, people who probably just bumped into one of these communities. Which is not unbelievable at all since they had been wandering for 4 years straight. I mean, I doubt those new survivors also originated from Alexandria. They would have been found way sooner if that was the case, considering Alexandria had scouts looking for survivors nearby.
It's stated in the issue where they take Magna in that wandering groups are extremely rare so deep into the ZA. There's no doubt that in the begining these communities were taking way more people from nearby than otherwise; but after four years the nearby area should be most definitely cleansed from survivors, therefore, any new survivors are more likely to be from afar, again, especially considering that they've been wandering for 4 years.
I think Ben, Nick, Sarah, and Bonnie could have had better exits. Ben, Nick, and Sarah were set up as characters in transition. I don't believe they were intended as lessons in futility. More likely the developers didn't know what to do with them after a certain point as they decided to explore other dynamics in the series. Bonnie's °180 after a steady progression toward moral character felt unnatural no matter the ending.
Agreed. I was tempted to discuss Nick and Sarah in particular but didn't know it was appropriate for this thread.
Oh by all means discuss away. Share why and who you'd like closure on if a certain character could come back
Oh, hey man! I didn't know you made this thread! Heck, I didn't know you were back! Glad to have ya back!![ ](https://community.telltalegames.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
Thanks man! I don't know if i will post here as often as i used to but have some free time right now. I was very unhappy i received the harsh ban i got considering i have been a loyal poster for over 4 years but there you go.
