Opinion on John Doe? [SPOILERS]

So what do you think about our dear Clown Prince of Crime?

The Joker was the highlight of the episode for me. This portrayal is an unpredictable beast. I mean, you know he is crazy, but he knows how to hide his insanity with his seemingly innocent and funny whimsical attitude. I was genuinely wondering if he is trying to help or intentionally messing with me. He is also definitely charming and charismatic which helps him being manipulative.

If there is a Season 2, I do look forward to see him being the main antagonist and how dangerous he can be.

  • I liked him alot, his voice was a little weird, but I guess that was because he was pretending to be "sane." Everytime when we saw the real him his voice was great.

  • It took a brief moment to get used to his voice, but I grow to like it over time.

I enjoyed him, and I'm glad he didn't over stay his welcome. I think he has the potential to be a fantastic Joker if there were a second season.

  • He was certainly a better Joker than Jared Leto's. The voice sounded like a mix between Heath ledger and Nostalgia Critic

Surprised that he acted friendly towards Bruce.

What confuses me is how he knew about Lady Arkham's true identity. And there's no way the murder of Mr. and Mrs. Vale, and telling Bruce to "Ask the Vales" was a coincidence.

  • I liked him. He reminded me a lot of Trevor from GTA. I look forward to seeing what his "favor" will be.

  • I liked him, really enjoyed the dialogues with him, i cant wait to see whats next

  • Loved him but it was weird seeing him be nice. Anyone else expecting him to kill Dr Leland?

  • One of the better characters in the game, definitely.

  • he was actually pretty good i have to say kinda hoping we see him again in a season 2 if it happens but idk why some people are being so put off the game just cause he got put in he was in it for like a chapter.....

He stole the show for me. Really good voice acting and that laugh was fantastic!

Hope to see him again in the next episode even for a bit, or even a second season.

  • I'm left wondering if he's figured out Bruce Wayne is Batman, since he seems to have a really good idea about the "darker side" of Bruce, and was expecting Bruce vs. Vicki to be far more glorious then anyone not in the know would expect.

  • I imagine S2 will be the rise of the joker.

  • I enjoyed my time with him. We got along pretty well considering i agreed with him on most things like beating up the Penguin.

  • I loved him! He's really cool, I really like that they showed him to be really smart and manipulative. He's got Dr Leland wrapped around his finger.

I also really like that in his introduction he came across as a good guy trying to help. In my alternate playthrough went I told Leland he was lying I felt so bad! He looked genuinely hurt.

Lovely, unpredictable, strange, charming, and just damn funny...exactly what I love about The Joker, I thought it was a great interpretation, and Anthony Ingruber did an amazing job. It's what we expect from The Joker, but it still feels like Telltale has put their own spin on the character, especially with how "helpful" he was to Bruce in Arkham.

  • His laugh was amazing. Sent a shiver down my spine.

  • A good guy...definitely someone I would let take care of children...oh wait ...noooo...I like him a lot.

I found him underwhelming and a little too ordinary when he first showed up. I was surprised that Telltale had introduced Batman's most outlandish and iconic villain in such a mundane way.

But the more time I spent with him, the more he grew on me. I like that Bruce starts off thinking he's just one of the many zany (but relatively harmless) nutcases of Arkham, and then, gradually, he will reveal the hidden depths of his sadism and insanity.

I think he has the potential to be a fantastic Joker. I already like him much more than Jared Leto's version. This Joker seems so much smarter than Leto's. If the two of them met, I get the sense that Leto's Joker would just snarl and try to intimidate Telltale Joker, and Telltale Joker would pretend to be scared and then suddenly switch personalities at the right moment, and cut Leto Joker's throat, then laugh, like it's all some silly little game.

  • I really enjoyed him! I hope if TellTale makes a season 2 (which they probably will) that he is the main villain!. I liked how he was shown to be kind but would snap at certain parts. Also the laugh was so good.

  • My initial impression was also underwhelming, but I also grew to like this version of the Joker over time. He is interesting and I really want to see how he is as a proper antagonist.
