test of time: final fantasy 4
not gonna cry; waking dead season 1.
5 more minutes: baldurs gate 2
Whoooaaaaaaa, dude!”: oxenfree. t… moreo be fair i did not really understand this one.
villain needs a hug; lisa.
game within a game; danganronpa 2
I Thought This Game Was Cool Before It Won An Award: i could not think of anything for this one so i voted to the moon.
best use of a farm animal; sam and max season 1. this is mostly for episode 2.
Why not, haven't posted my nominations yet so here:
Test of Time: Garry's Mod (Really didn't know what to put here, as I know any game can die at some point, so I figured the huge User made content game was best)
I'm Not crying...: The Walking Dead (Do I really need to say why?)
Just 5 more minutes: State of Decay (I loved this game when I first got my hands on it. A large open world to explore and scavenge, where nearly every building can be entered... Loved going on scavenging runs and thinking: "Ok, maybe one more house, and then we move back".)
Whoooaaaaaa, dude!: The Stanley Parable (An amazing meta-humour game with a great release. The trailers intrigued me and were hilarious, the demo actually wasn't the game at all, it was literally the Demo(nstration) of the game. And a great full game with an amazing narrator, and mind blowing endings.)
Villain in most need of a hug: Portal 2 (Also wasn't sure to put here, but decided on Portal. Wheatley just needs a big hug and attention. Oh, and potatoGlaDOS.)
Game within a game: Game dev tycoon (I haven't played many games with an actual notable, fun "game within a game", so I figured I'd put the game where you make games on the list of nominees.)
I thought this game was cool...: Surgeon Simulator 2013 (Loved this game back in the day, was funny how the controls were cumbersome [as they were supposed to be], and weird surgeries to do, as well as some great updates with new content and secrets to find.)
Best use of a farm animal: Amnesia: A machine for pigs. (A game where the monster is some sort of pig/pig-man/super pig? No thank you.)
[insert award here] award (That's Bro, bro): Tales from the Borderlands (Brobro? Bro. Brobrobrobro. brobro. Brobrobrobrobrobrobro?! BRO.)
Well I was more attached to LIS for the most part and Chloe. I cried quite a bit in episode 4 when she was paralyzed and told me to kill he… morer, I refused and she gave me a long speech. I cried when I talked to Kate in the hospital that prevents suicide. I cried tons at the end of episode 5. I cried once during Season 1 at the end. In my viewpoint LIS is a game that is based around emotion, WD is based around horror/survival. Sorry but I didn't like Tales.
Btw for people voting The Wolf Among Us as the farm animal one, keep in mind that we may have a lot of competition with Stardew Valley and Goat Simulator.

Seems like the only reward for "THIS GAME NEEDS A SEQUEL" is half life 2 I actually never played any of the half lives but I would nominate the wolf among us for the award.
Knowing Steam there will be a game in dire need of a sequel award instead of our bro award. I recently played Orange Box and wow 17 hours I won't get back from Half life 2 and the episodes. I've had more fun in COD games, lol. Just thinking about Half Life 2 and Gordon Freeman makes me angry. If there was an award for a game that needs a sequel I'd nominate Kingdoms of Amalur:Reckoning in a heart beat. It's a shame that there will never be a sequel. Hands down one of the best rpgs I've ever played. There's so much to do and I'm only at 30 hours now.

Vote "that's bro, bro" award for Tales.
Why should they give Telltale and other devs a free pass when it comes to technical issues?
Haha
If you want the tweet to imbed just get rid of the "mobile" part of the link.
This is a good thread, thanks for the sticky.
Lol

Actually, TWD is based largely around emotion, too.
I can't count the amount of times I cried while playing TWD.
Well, I can if you really want me too.

No.
For villain in need of hug I put Ivor from MCSM.. THEN OBVIOUSLY I HAD TO PUT TWDS1 FOR THE NIAGRA FALLS OUT MY EYES AWARD
I think it stands a better chance at winning the Whoooaaaa Dude! Award.

Whoooaaaaaaa, dude!: Dishonored 2
Just 5 more minutes: Counter Strike Global Offensive
I'm Not Crying, There's Something In My Eye: The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
Best Use Of A Farm Animal: The Wolf Among Us
That's Bro, Bro: Tales From The Borderlands
Glad I'm not the only one that nominated LIS for the cry award. I cried at least 4 times in that game, once in WD.
The ending for LiS made me depressed for a whole week.
Welp, looks like only The Walking Dead made it. No "That's Bro, Bro" category.
If it makes everyone feel better, it'll probably win it's award.
Surprise surprise, there's a lot of Valve on the list. Although, I think Portal 2 and L4D2 should win their respective categories.
