Highly doubt that, Telltale tries to not do that, plus its happening on the day Walking Dead premiers, not just a day Walking Dead releases, meaning it would be completely overshadowed.

It wouldn't be overshadowed, because this is the FINALE of Batman, not just an episode. The 13th seems like too short and they said the series would end by Christmas.

There's still way more hype for Walking Dead, even though its the last episode of Batman, people and reviewers would be way more focused on the new more hyped up sequel. The 13th is still out by Christmas, and ep 5 was already being worked on before they even released episode 4, so 13th isnt so far out there.

Plans change when they have to. Episode 4 barely moved the needle, there are way too many loose ends to tie (Lady Arkham, Penguin or Harvey, Bruce reclaiming Wayne Enterprises, Selina/Catwoman's agenda and/or romance, Joker obviously has a tiny part to play in all this).
I don't have enough faith in Telltale to believe they will be able to tie all this up with poise.
This will be ugly and crudely disappointing for some.

I don't think the Joker has to have anything tied up at all in the fifth episode. He might, sure, but it could be enough to leave him unresolved until he breaks out or whatever in season two. Bruce either promised him or didn't but either way is absolutely convinced this guy who he knows very little about and isn't even committed could never recover or escape or whatever and will spend the rest of his life in Arkham (and him being just that sure is kind of odd)

I'm guessing that Batman Episode 5 comes out on Dec 13th, since New Frontier Episode 1 comes out on the 20th. From what we saw in the Ep 4 t… morehread, it looked like they had Episode 4 of Batman finished a little earlier in advance, so that probably means that they are that much further along in Ep 5.
It can't be that big, I don't remember any decision that important in other Telltale games that changed characters.
The was Carley/Doug in Walking Dead but they were just minor NPCs, not villains with they arcs
In Wolf Among Us killing the Tweedle ??? didn't change anything, neither take Tweedle ¿¿¿ or the Woodsman.
The only game they did that was with Walking Dead 2 ending but they didn't show how it affects S3.
My guess? it will be a short scene with Penguin/Harvey, like the one from Walking Dead 2 when you choose Nick or Pete, without any consequence in the story later.

Guess you haven't played Game of Thrones.

I wonder how Bruce is going to improve his tarnished image in Ep5. Maybe revealing he funded Batman could perhaps make it all square but it's way too risky I guess.
Or as Batman he could simply sing Bruce's praise......Too easy this one.
He could reveal he was drugged and get the police or Batman or even the villains to confirm. That's really the only thing HE did. Then everyone else, once the scandal dies down, realizes Thomas' actions don't have anything to do with Bruce. And maybe - and this is really crazy - they'll stop talking about how corrupt "Bruce's parents" were when they just mean his father.

That will explain his savage display at the end of Ep3 but that won't be enough to clear his name tarnished prior to that incident. Of course it's beyond stupid that the people of Gotham wants his head while he made great contribution to this city, what his father had to do should not have any bearing on his image. At worst he's seen as profiting from his father's extensive criminal record.
Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought it was established that Bruce improved Gotham with the Wayne Foundation, maybe it's not a thing in Telltale's batverse.

Poor Martha doesn't deserve any of this.
I feel like the only way the people of Gotham would finally realize what Bruce's true intentions were only if he was unmasked and everyone found out he was Batman. It be pretty interesting, guy who's parents were crime bosses son is Batman taking down crime. Also it would be interesting to see Lady Arkham, Oz, and Harvey all discover that he is Batman. However, I highly doubt everyone is going to find out our identity in this series.

So in the ending where you go to Wayne enterprises you break the penguins leg and like some people said maybe he will get some kind of cane in episode 5 although he's probably in prison.
It wasn't his image that was tarnished. Nobody seems to suspect that Bruce himself is crooked (which is surprising as that would be where my mind would go upon finding out the supposedly upright Thomas was shady) so he just needs to keep distancing himself from his father and they'll get over it.
It would be nice if someone got to figure it out. I mean, Selina did but she could not care less and it was her first time meeting Bruce so it's really not the same thing. I want to see someone who's upset with Bruce but has a higher opinion of Batman try to reconcile them. It looks like Oz is trying very, very hard not to have to do that.

Just went through all 4 episodes in 3 days. It was so good, how have I not played this sooner ;-;. Can't wait for episode 5 now, it'll be interesting hearing Vicky's motives.

A different kind of experience, but I prefer waiting a few weeks honestly. Not if it's as long as for TWAU Episode 2 and TftB Episode 2 and 3, but if it's just a few weeks like with Batman, then it adds to the experience. Similar to a TV show were you have to wait for the next Episode, but you don't really mind.

Despite her gadget/claw thingymajig (probably gonna get hate for forgetting the name) being on the coffee table lol
Though yea Harvey's Anger probably blinded him to overlook that fact, still amusing though.
I think Selina is obviously coming back, lets remember she left because of Harvey, but he doesn't know she is Catwoman so she could come back as Catwoman to help Batman sometime during episode 5 and i'm pretty confident this will happen

I loved episode 4. I didn't really like 3 because of some choices and I didn't like the joker in ep4 but he was only in for like 20 mins...
Relax fellows the season finale would probably release after the release of the premier episode of the WD3
No, before that. Because after week of 20th ttg will be on xmas break.
Its almost over guys...feels like yesterday when this teaser was out
Everyone hop on to the hype train. Hope we get the finale this year
Kaboom
Probably a double-release on the 20th....

So Ep5 will most likely release in January 2017. December 13 would be really short, and this episode has a LOT to answer for.
You're not the only person that thinks Bruce Wayne looks stunning

doesnt always work that way but its a fair guess
naw always a vocal entitled minority who will just getpessimistic because they assume they can tell a story better ep 4 was great
I really hope it will be released in December. I'm looking forward to TWD... but I need to know how Batman ends...

He's a bit... burned, so he'll probably get hurt if you hug him.
Guess you haven't played Game of Thrones.
Totally forgot about Game of Thrones, I stand corrected.
I'll hug his other half : )
Do you think guys that if you didn't arrest Oswald he could get the characteristic Penguin's umbrella in Ep 5?
Maybe the top hat too!
I don't know, an umbrella might be too cringey for me. I'd be up for a cane.

Good luck being Batman after that, vigilantism is illegal. But that would be really brave for sure.

Well you are certainly lucky, being able to wait till Episode 4 before playing. Must have been quite a different and fun experience.
This could lead to some great lines. I also would like to see how Oz would react.

I really hope in episode 5 they reveal that AT LEAST Oz knows Bruce is Batman. Oz literally has no excuse to not know, it should be obvious by now.
Well, we were able to get the monocle in there...
