Am I the only one who loved Episode 4?
I don't get the hate on it, I thought it was pretty awesome. Not as good as Episode 2 and 3 but I find it BETTER than episode 1.

Im curious about episode 5
Hopefully it's one of the best Season finales. I already wish a Season 2 for it
Me too.
Its not that people hated it. It was just a bit underwhelming in some areas (Selina's part, The Asylum only being 15 minutes of the episode, and the lack of Vicki). Despite those minor issues I thoroughly enjoyed it, and am very curious how the finale will play out based on the two very different endings.
I don't really actually care much about Selina but yeah, the choice in episode 3 became pointless, OMG, Telltale should stop doing that
I thought it was pretty good. I already like the new Joker
Same thing happened to TWAU Episode 4, it lacked Bloody Mary so much.
Atleast Bloody Mary had a cameo like appearance, Vicki just shows up at the starting saying what she said in episode 3, and it was just a drug illusion.
No, I loved it. People are mad because Selina barley wasn't in it, and thus Bat/Catwoman shippers are getting worried.
I wouldn't have had so much of a problem with ep. 4 if the choices I made in previous episodes actually carried through. Harvey claiming that Bruce pulled his funding (even if I didn't), or Montoya showing up at the Vale house (even if she resigned from the force), destroyed a lot of the game's immersion for me.
Can I just say that the one glitch really helped me out?
I pulled my funding for Harvey and he didn't give me shit for it.
Except for the part where he tried to kill me.
Really liked the episode too. Can't wait for episode 5.
No, i loved it! my second favorite episode
I loved it too but felt that it was too short.
I haven't given much thought about how it compares to previous episodes but yeah I really enjoyed episode 4. In fact, because of that episode I played through the game twice and thus have both choices on different saves (between going to Wayne Tower or Wayne Manor).
Yeah, I'm sure it's the most awesome glitch ever...if it works in your favor.
I enjoyed all the episodes so far, I think episode 3 is the best but 4 is good too, one thing I didn't like was the short length of the episode, other than that it was great
Episode 2 was short too but it was better than episode 1
Am I the only one who would have found it HILARIOUS if we would've been given the option to go all Batbale/Ledgerjoker interrogation on the kid in the closet? I amused myself for a solid hour imagining Bales Batman punching that kid in the head, "WHERE'S LADY ARKHAM???!!!!" punch punch
I liked it was better then episode 2 that one felt short
I actually really loved it. I just thought it was WAY too short.
I found episdode 4 to be quite uneventful for the most part.
-Time in Arkahm
-Cure
-Go to Vicky's house to investigate
-Save Commissioner Gordon
-Stop Penguin or 2 face
Overall the episode seem like a filler and setting up for episode 5.
I thought it was a pretty good episode. What I liked most was that when I started the episode, I was going in planning to pick saving Wayne Manor instead of going to Wayne Enterprises to save my gadgets/tech. But the further I got into the episode, the more I was siding with going to Wayne Enterprises and saving my tech/gadgets and eliminating Penguin. Because of the choices I was making (like visiting Harvey/Two-Face as Bruce Wayne instead of Batman), the more things were building to Harvey/Two-Face being the better person to face off against in Episode 5 and more of the main villain. Penguin was looking more like a side/secondary villain. And burning down Wayne Manor and possibly killing Alfred (I'm sure he's okay since Bruce/Batman tells him to hide in the batcave) just seemed to be escalating things even more between Bruce and Harvey. If Alfred does die, I guess it'll boost the emotional level during the final fight between Bruce/Batman and Harvey/Two-Face. That and maybe the loss of Wayne Manor and everything in it will make the citizens of Gotham hate Bruce less. Hopefully Episode 5 delivers and gives me what I want.
I just hate the fact that Alfred and Gordon STILL think I'm a violent piece of shit because I involuntarily gently pressed a thug up against a wall.
I'm trying not to harp on it... but God damn that minor detail ruined so much of this game for me. Telltale should take note of this for future reference: these things matter.
No matter how many times I play, I cannot get Gordon to cut me some slack about not being a perfect hero and saving everyone 100% at the debate. Or so I can only assume because he was calling me a hero pre-debate and all of a sudden he wishes he could arrest me instead of working together.
Episode 4 was good, did I love it ? No. Arkham prequel in episode 3 was overhyped. Unanswered questions with Vale parents (if they were very abusive, borderline child beaters, then why did she wait so long to kill them, if she killed them ?), short Joker appearence, no Catwoman/Selina, few good Bruce moments, meaning felt more like Game of Thrones of always losing. I still liked 4 and I'm excited for 5.
I thought it was great. I loved the Arkham Asylum lay out, it was cool.
The Joker only being in their a short time was good on telltale's part, because now we will all speculate weather he will be in episode 5.
I agree with others that the Selina angle would've annoyed people because the sex option would've got them excited and to see Selina in episode 4, gave them a kick in the guts.
Overall, i loved episode 4 and cannot wait for episode 5.
I did love it
[the choice in episode 3 became pointless, OMG, Telltale should stop doing that]
But it wasn't. There was an entire scene because of it.
I think you might have a glitch. I have seen several Lps where Montoya was not there and Harvey mentions the Selina thing instead of the funding.
Exactly. I've played through this twice(admittedly, I've only completely caught up on one), but the one I'm current in was my second save. Which I started after Episode 3 had been released since I assumed they'd of fixed some major bugs by then. I went out of my way, taking extra care not to be violent at all. It's half the reason I restarted. And yet still, Alfred acts like I put the thug in the hospital. Then later on, Gordon tells me he'd arrest me if he could.
I know to some it will seem nitpicky, but when the game tries SO hard to bait you into being violent, but you go out of your way to make sure you're nothing but good and completely doing the right thing? After resisting all the temptation to fuck shit up and break some bones?
It's REALLY annoying to be treated like a bad guy who's been violently mauling everyone. Just saying, I don't understand why this bug is being overlooked by Telltale like it's no big deal at all. It really did spoil the game for me a bit. It's like, next level decisions don't matter type shit. If Telltale wanted to intentionally make us "feel like Batman," who in most versions of the story is mostly good but still treated like a criminal in a lot of ways, this was not the proper way to go about it. Sure, accomplished. But not in a good way. This was just an obvious, major flaw in the story.
It's like if you went to see a movie in theaters. You're watching, and the good guy like has a confrontation with a bad guy, but the good guy pins him to a wall, gives him a harsh warning, and then ties him up and leaves. Then the very next scene someone is like YOU NEARLY KILLED THAT GUY! HE'S IN CRITICAL CONDITION! And then near the end of the movie the hero's cop friend turns on him like "I SHOULD ARREST YOU FOR BEING SO VIOLENT" when the hero hasn't even really hurt anyone except MAYBE in self defense lol.
I think featuring the Joker was a bit disappointing* but as a whole I thought episode 4 was pretty good, aside from being pretty short.
*Look, I like the Joker, and for what it's worth I enjoyed Telltale's take on him, but every single story featuring Batman these days seems to feature him as the main villain. It was nice to have a story that finally had nothing to do with him at all, so seeing him show up in episode 4, especially when it's implied that he'll play a bigger role in episode 5 (though that could also be setting him up as the potential villain in season 2) was just a bit disappointing.
