Revealed LIVE on stage at The Games Awards, today we can officially announce a previously-top-secret project we’ve been quietly working on behind the scenes… an interactive episodic game series based on Marvel's iconic Guardians of the Galaxy!
Titled Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series, you can expect to see the first episode of this new five-part adventure premiere digitally in 2017 on home consoles, PC, and mobile devices.

"In Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series, players will take on multiple roles within the ragtag band of heroes, and take the pilot’s seat in directing their escapades around the universe. We are always honored to be working with the best creative partners and storytellers in entertainment, and working with Marvel on this series leaves us excited to share what we’ve been developing when it premieres in 2017."

The series will also hit retail as a special season pass disc, which will include the first episode in the season, and will grant access to the subsequent four episodes as they become available for download via online updates. We’ll have more specific platform details to announce in the coming year.

Today we can share a first-ever extended first look at The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series - A New Frontier, the all-new season in the critically-acclaimed series! In a double dose of good news, we can now also announce that the season's debut on December 20th will take the form of a special two-part premiere, with two episodes coming out on the same day.
Revealed live on stage at The Game Awards tonight, this new video clip introduces newcomer Javier. We witness how the beginning of the zombie plague affected him and his family before we move forward in time to years later, where he encounters a very familiar face...
The first TWO of five episodes in The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series - A New Frontier will premiere digitally worldwide starting Tuesday December 20th on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, iOS, and Android-based devices. We expect to have info on release dates for additional platforms in the near future too.

We also confirmed today that The Walking Dead: A New Frontier will act as a new beginning for players fresh to the series and unfamiliar with Clementine, as well as a continuation for players who have experienced Seasons One and Two. If you're new to the series, you'll be able to start a story that's tailored to this new beginning. Continuing onward from prior seasons? You'll have multiple options for quickly configuring your own tailored backstory, or importing past save files from various platforms. We'll be sharing additional info on this feature in the coming weeks.

Telltale better give us some good news. I'm expecting: TWD 8min preview, (hopefully, but pretty unlikely) Batman news, and really, really want two new series announcements for next year. We know one may be Marvel, but what's the other? -- I need Super Show news

I wonder if the 8 minute preview will show the begging of episode 1 like Michonne or if it will show just a random part to avoid too much spoilers anyways still super excited! Also hoping for a hint that episode 5 of batman is coming this month.

When I think of the upcoming Marvel game, I keep hearing the Spiderman introduction music from Captain America: Civil War. I just feel this theme captures what a Marvel game should be. A more carefree and lighthearted superhero game. It would contrast nicely with Batman.

I wouldn't count on four announcements, but if they were too theoretically, I guess it would somewhat make sense with TWD New Frontier, Marvel, Super Show, and Thrones S2? Realistically, though, I would just expect the first two and maybe something else.
Yeah, Spiderman would make a pretty neat Telltale series. However, Insomniac is already releasing a Spiderman game on PS4, so I would probably count on something else.
I woke up early today and thought about going to be early but the game awards start at 9:00 for me so I might just stay up a little later it's not that late.

Alright, I know this isn't strictly Telltale-related, but regarding the nominees... is it really fair for Uncharted 4 to have three nominations in 'Best Performance'? Out of a total of six? Or Firewatch as well, which has two nominations.
Well I mean, Oscars also have nominations for multiple roles in same movies (Actress, Actor, Secondary) but I guess its a little more unfair in this case because its all clumped into one.

Here are my predictions on what's happening tonight twd 8 minute preview (I know that one is confirmed not a prediction) marvel game details small details on Batman episode 5 teaser info about Game of Thrones season 2 (because that's the only other series that telltale confirmed will come eventually) I don't really like telltales game of thrones but maybe I will go beyond episode one of season 1 for it.

4 Hours until it starts. We are debating if we still want all discussion here, or if we will do separate threads after all for TWD and any new announcements (I am strongly predicting Marvel finally gets announced).
