They will probably show it somewhere in the middle. I'd recommend sleeping so you are well rested enough to appreciate the preview. This thread isn't going anywhere come tomorrow morning.

If you mean the chugging issues on consoles - then, yeah - that's always been there. Telltale has never been that good at optimizing the games on consoles - and a new engine wouldn't fix that - since they'd still have to optimize the code for the new engine (and there's likely to be more issues since the team wouldn't be familiar with the new engine so optimizations would be even harder for the team to do in the short time span that they give themselves to release the games).
