I do agree with your points, though. I seriously think this is good and bad. I can see episode 1 focus on Javi's family, his time before the outbreak, etc.
Here is a simple explanation of what happened.
* Telltale produced "Ties That Bind," the season premiere, and it happened to have tons … moreof content crammed into it; a "large" episode.
* Telltale realized that they can split "Ties That Bind" into two episodes; in a sense, using the work of one episode and selling it as two. This means that they receive the revenue of two episodes for creating a large one, yet Kevin presents it in a way that is good for us.
* Since they are not adding a sixth episode to the season, we will have consumed two fifths of the season after we've played on December 20th, instead of consuming just one fifth. This means that the narrative will be shorter than planned before, because there will only be three remaining episodes instead of four.
* When you consider that one episode is being sold as two, you realize that you are paying for four episodes—one of which is a large one—at the price of five.

Probably up next on the chopping block.
With Batman wrapping up, the only two series they have going at the moment are TWD and GotG. GoT is probably next up.
Or maybe The Wolf Am-oh who am I kidding
Definitely looking forward to Guardians of the Galaxy. It will certainly be nice to have some lighthearted adventures with maturity and drama like TFTB.
I know everyone's talking about TWD, but anyone have a really good feeling about Guardians of the Galaxy?
Just from that small teaser, co… morembined with the track they decided to use for it... I have this feeling it's going to be another awesome series like TFTB was.

At the same time, i felt that Clem and AJ gave him something to fight for, two reasons for him to keep going. My Clem also wouldn't leave someone she had so much history with.
That's a good point, but I felt like it was just time to move on. My Clem learned tough lessons along the way and I made sure she realized some people are too far gone and on the edge of no return. Just like she had to move on from Lee (obviously forced upon her) she had to move on from people who are metaphorically bitten. Just my two cents on the choices.

The main reservation I have is that it would be very easy for Telltale to recycle the same assets that made Tales amazing for Guardians and I don't want both to be interchangeable as it would take away the uniqueness from Tales and possibly Guardians as Telltale games.

Gotta say, despite my recent criticisms of Telltale, the stuff they're doing with ANF and how it works is really, really fucking cool. If there are any Telltale Staff here who worked on the game, you have a lot of my respect, as does the rest of the team who worked on it. This season doesn't look bad at all. I've got high hopes.
I think it looks alright, and the graphical engine from that short peek we saw is fucking gorgeous, but I'm worried it'll try and ride off of the success of Tales and be like that game, which would be disappointing.

So? That doesn't mean they both won't be as long as normal episodes. It just means there's two episodes that were originally intended to be 4 hours long, and then were probably split to even it out a bit. 2 hour episodes each.
I'm just kinda hoping that it gets to be its own thing and not forced to tie into the MCU... and despite a total pip dream, gets to use Fantastic Four and X-Men elements so all the cool recognisable races in the Marvel Universe - the Skrulls, the Brood, the Sh'iar, the Flock (Lockheed's Race) and the Annihilation Wave - can appear.

I haven't heard of crashing and save file issues in Batman (and I haven't had any myself on Xbox One). I did have some slowdown in Batman episode 4 in a few scenes though (but luckily during cutscenes and not during the quick time events).
It varies between how quick a forum for a newly announced series can go up. It can range anywhere from near instantaneously after the announcement, to several months after.
3 crashes in total for me, but I don't know if it's a wide-spread problem. And for me, there's only one choice that wasn't correct (Alfred reminded me I was brutal in an interrogation segment, even though I wasn't), but I've seen people talk about how their choices have been altered. Again, don't know if it's wide-spread, this is only what I've heard/read anecdotally.
EDIT: And the frame rate being all over the place.

And that's just a theory....a game theory!

Was there ever a hint for a season 2 for GoT?

There's quite a few people paranoid that it's been cancelled.
It was officially announced last year

No one talks about it because there's nothing to talk about. It's already perfect.
OR, all of episode one is Javier with the last 1 minute showing Clementine and they knew fans would be beyond pissed so they're releasing both.
"Part One" and "Part Two" were one episode and they splat it in half.

I think they'll probably do 6. It'd be crazy to have 2 episodes at launch and not make it 6 episodes.

She's still wearing the fuck ugly jacket, I see. I would have ditched that shit as soon as Bonnie betrayed me.

While that is true, none of it connects to what I was saying.
I expect the episodes to be ninety minutes at most, though.
Don't talk shit about the Jacket >:(
You know fish girl is Kate right?
Yes!
Nothing else.

Now this is a good chance for telltale.. to switch to different playable characters
Just watch the movie and you're pretty much ready.

While I don't have the baritone of Vin Diesel, I can say "I am Groot". So uh hey, Telltale, you know where to find my inbox
Is someone working on GOTG section for the forums?
