Most Anticipated Games of 2017 (Excluding Telltale stuff)
You know the drill, what are you most anticipated video games of 2017? Let's not include any Telltale games because it's pretty obvious. This is what I'm waiting for to play:
- Outlast 2
- Spider-Man PS4
- Red Dead Redemption 2
- Overkill's The Walking Dead
- Resident Evil 7
- Death Stranding
- God of War
- Days Gone
- Friday The 13th: The Game
- Detroit Become Human
Here are some honourable mentions which includes remasters and DLCs:
- Uncharted 4 Story DLC
- Crash Bandicoot Remastered

Uncharted 4 is getting a story DLC? Heeeeell yeah! Also super-fucking-hype for Red Dead 2, by a teaser that really didn't show shit. Good job Rockstar. Good bloody job.
I was so hyped for For Honor first, but after seeing gameplay... Not so much.
Dude, it's just a teaser. Why would you expect a gameplay? Same thing happened to GTA 5
I'm happy it's not made by the ones who made Amazing Spider-Man games. Those games sucked as much as the movies.
I'm really looking forward to Sonic Mania and Marvel vs Capcom 4.
Mass Effect Andromeda. That's about it.
I might have phrased myself poorly. What I meant was that they did a good job. They didn't show a lot, but I still got super fucking hyped for it. So I really meant a good bloody job on the behalf of Rockstar. I know what a teaser is. : 3
Anyways, I haven't properly said his yet. Welcome back Aron, haven't seen you around a lot except for some Uncharted-comments on Youtube
WTF is death stranding. They just need to make a good open world zombie game, realistic zombies in a realistic setting, with story like telltales twd. I was a little excited for Overkills TWD but seeing a little bit of gameplay from it, just looks awful especially the VR one. Right now Im hyped for upgrades on the division
I'm getting my first real job in January, and the reason I took it is because I'm saving up for 2 consoles for what could be the only 2 newly released video games I'll ever be purchasing again. Breath of the Wild and Death Stranding. Those two games will be brilliant, and worth every bit of money I put into it. I just know it. And I have a reason for feeling that way because I have not only never been truly let down by a Nintendo game, but I also have never seen Kojima make a bad game.
Other than that, ResE 7 and Overkill's Walking Dead look pretty dope, I'm kinda excited for RDR 2 despite being new to the series, and God of War 4, Sonic Mania and Spider-Man all look alright. Majorly hyped for Outlast II as well, and I suppose I'll give Detroit a chance. Fuck David Cage and everything he's ever made though.
To be fair, they weren't that bad. And neither was the first movie. But compared to the other Spidey games, it does fall flat on it's face.
EDIT: Plus, the developers of the Amazing Spider-Man games have also made some really fantastic Spidey games in the past, as well as great games in general. Beenox isn't the problem, it's just that the games aren't as good as the rest.
That's all. xD
They were just acting like the movies. The first movie was ok just like the game itself and the sequel was a TRASH just like the game sequel itself.
Did they make Spider-Man 2 The PS2 game?
Thanks
Goddammit. Mod, please delete this double comment.
I'm new too. I feel so guilty for not playing the first game in my life. I really hope Rockstar or a video game company remasters it on PS4/X1, or at least release it on Playstation Store/Xbox Live just like they did with Bully, Manhunt and Max Payne.
Why is David Cage hated so much?
South Park :TFBW because it's on Steam and i really love South Park and the first game a.k.a stick of truth
Pyre
Night in the woods (reminds me of Life is Strange and Oxenfree)
Because his business practices are awful, his games are awful, his ideals are awful and he's a egotistical asshole.
No but they made Web of Shadows, Ultimate Spider-Man, Edge of Time, Shattered Dimensions, The good port of Spider-Man 3 and Spider-Man Friend of Foe. All of which are well made and just as fun as Spider-Man 2.
Another brilliant masterpiece by Mr. Hideo Fucking Kojima.
Yeah, just letting you know the forums have gotten a bit... broken, since you originally left.
masterpiece? maybe the game will be but certainly not the bizarre trailer...
Man, I loved Web of Shadows and Ultimate Spider-Man. The only Spider-Man games I enjoyed. I wish I had tried Spider-Man 2 but it's a PS2 exclusive.
Ok... But I thought Heavy Rain was pretty good.
Still wish it wasn't updated. This is such an unfinished upgrade.
Heavy Rain looked beautiful and had an amazing concept. But the story fell flat and the characters were all either unlikable or lame cliches.
You and me both, man.
I mostly just care about Kingdom Hearts 2.8 tbh xD
Me too.
Yooka-Laylee!
Persona 5
Y2K: A Post Modern RPG
Oh and Night in The Woods since someone reminded me about it!
I don't think Death Stranding will be out until 2018/2019
And hopefully a The Last of Us 2 teaser at E3
Well, that likely won't be like the previous games. I hope Kratos is a good guy in this game
From what we saw in the E3 trailer, he seems to be a good guy, he's at least trying to raise his son.
Ace Combat is back... finally. No more of this Assault Horizon spin off nonsense. Still remember the original Playstation game, when it was called Air Combat. This is going to be the Franchise's 20th Anniversary as well when this game comes out. lol
Dishonored 2 DLC should be alot of fun. I hope the story of the dlc is a bit better than Dishonored 2's main story. My best guess for what the DLC would be would be a Daud DLC, they confirmed that he was definitely still alive and I found it weird he never appeared, plus the ending always having Meagan going out to find him (unless you kill her, RIP)
Im hoping that he is in Tavia, its suppose to be really cold, and I think it would be alot of fun to see a snowy Dishonored world.
Don't even try to argue it. If Hideo Kojima touched it, it obviously has to be great. /s
Since Danganronpa V3:Killing Harmony was announced for localisation for 2017 that's what I'm most excited for.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance, Mount and Blade: Bannerlord and maybe Mass Effect Andromeda, but that's about it.
