The Truth about the Season 2 and Jane

  • This might've been true if Arvo didn't have problems with his legs. Can you imagine him hobbling off into the woods only to be caught seconds later? He was wise to bide his time a little longer until the frozen lake. Also, kicking a walker seems more realistic for him to do than sprinting through the woods and actually escaping.

The interesting thing about that is that Arvo is consistently portrayed as moving a lot faster than you'd think at a glance. He probably could've put a lot of distance between them if he reall tried, especially since his house is right around the corner.

Okay that actually scares the shit out of me and sort of pieces together the puzzle of what he was trying to do.
Step 1: Lead group halfway across frozen lake.
Step 2: Take off running, hopefully causing as many people as possible to fall into the water
    Step 3: Find stashed gun
Step 4: Return and pick off the survivors still making their way across the ice.

He could have really caused some damage if Kenny didn't chase him down.

Holy shit, that would be terrifying! I never even thought about that--That's cold, Russkie!

Now, if I was him, running while the walker has Kenny occupied would've been the best time to move This might've been true if Arvo d

I mean it does seem like that was his plan, right? I'm low-key freaking out after piecing this together. If it's true then Arvo is even smarter and more dangerous than I ever imagined.

  • Seriously! Suddenly, how chill he was leading up to that takes on another dimension: he could've been traveling all them miles and puttin' up with all that shit just to get the chance to pick dem sum'bitches off one by one from his front porch--that's some Lich shit right there!

  • No way....from where they met Arvo's group was near that town that they spied from Parker's Run. I think I am safe to say that Virginia was never a place they visited. Also..I have to throw shade on the entire 9 day trip to Wellington. That would have been suicide during Winter even with the pickup truck. No one is cleaning off the roads any more. Ohio is only enterable from where they are traveling via bridges. The Ohio River is not a small river. More than likely they would have crossed from Covington Kentucky...lots of walkers plus if a winter storm were to hit...Cinci always gets pounded hard by those storms. And it only gets worse because of Lake Effect snows that blow down. Basically it would be hell on earth to try and travel.

If Arvo's house was towards the middle of North Carolina, I can see them passing through it on the way up north.

  • There's not that much snow in NC, I live there lol. Virginia ? Lol. Woodchuck, let's say is in Michigan. Let's say Arvo lives in Michigan :)

  • Lol. I disagree with Kenny being an idiot. Kenny came up with the boat idea in season 1. A genius idea that would have worked had Clem not been kidnapped. Kenny followed his gut about Wellington, which was successful. Let's pretend that the first half happened in West Virginia and the second half was in Michigan. Let's imagine that we followed Jane's advice. Opposite direction back to Howes. Walkers everywhere, yet we somehow get past them in theory (we already did before). Now we see Howes, yet Carver's group is organized and sealed the place. We are now facing an organized militia with assault weapons. What if we can't take the place over, then what ? Kenny was willing to try to give Wellington a chance which was safer than taking over Howes. He was thinking about the safety of the group.

  • So, the group and Rebecca walked across numerous states before being ambushed and then followed Arvo for the rest of the day ...to Michigan?

  • I just don't know at this point. I'm really just combining the game, the wiki, and a US map to come up with this trek.

  • We don't know how much time has passed though. If they went from West Virginia in the middle to Michigan, it's closer than let's say NC to California.

  • ...K. At the very least, I assumed no more than three days had gone by.

but that is all we would be doing is pretending...because we know they were in NC at Arvos place...going back to Howes with the truck would have been an hour...plus we know from Jane's ending..Howes was abandoned. Going to Wellington was still 2 full states and a major river away....Safety of the group is not trying to cross that distance with the threat of winter storms and congested roads that are iced over...Kenny also being a Florida boy is not used to driving on snow. No the safest thing would have been going to Howes or south. They needed to be in Wellington before the winter set in and that did not happen.

  • Homie, Kenny knew winter as he was in a log cabin. He had been in snow area for a few years. They drove across two states and used natural fuel. They drove to Wellington, it was a success. I never experienced Jane ending and let's pretend that that isn't canon. Let's pretend that going North in winter is risky, yet you have a low risk of raiders. Let's say that it's illogical for Howes to be abandoned when walkers never invaded the place. Wellington was worth investigating asap.

Driving on snow is a bit different than what he was used to...the truck was probably totaled when Clem crashed it...and was out of fuel...Kenny's plan makes no sense. Low risk of Raiders?? They would have to get past Cincinnati...not exactly a small town...plus I am sure more than a few people already had the idea to head north. Plus the distance to Wellington from where they were..probably 500 miles. That is a massive trip with a newborn.

  • I'm not saying who would you stay with. I could care less who you like or dislike. I'm talking about which plan makes more logical sense...

We will have to disagree. Look at the season time line as months. The season was terrible so we have to pretend about everything. Howes was a no go, so Well was all they had. Take a chance on the road or face a sea of walkers, then a mini army. I like Kenny's plan. Honestly the only person that cared about AJ other than Rebecca was Kenny. Jane hated AJ. Yeah, Wellington was a hunch, yet it was the only choice. I believe that had Wellington been a myth, Kenny would have figured something out. He came up with the train and boat ideas. He fixed the RV and truck. I don't see how people call him dead weight. Ben was the dead weight and that's why I agreed with Kenny that he shouldn't come with us on the boat. He had enough chances and got Duck, Khatja, and many others killed. Even Chuck died due to Ben.
