The latest Batman Unmasked is out.

    Edit: Preview at 27:57

  • They officially said that Joker will become Bruce's mortal enemy!

  • I think we could have figured that one out. I mean he is Joker.

EVERYONE KNOWS JOKER WILL HAVE A MAJOR ROLE IN S2

  • Can anyone get just the clip from unmasked?

  • Dude i mean it may be a reference to s2. Ep5 isnt big enough to contain joker's re-intro as an enemy as well

What else would he be? His bestie?

I can, but with subtitles, no voice

    EDIT: found it

I dunno what save they used for that scene

    Teaser clip from Episode 5:
It has bad subs and no audio, but gives an idea of what the clip depicts, the change of Harvey and Bruce's friendship obviously

If we save tech, the house is burn
If we save house, Harvey must be in prison/arkham
I dont get where the teaser scene comes from

  • Well that must happen if you decided stopping Penguin was the more pressing matter. Hence why Harvey is not locked up and apparently still very angry.

  • I'm assuming this is a save where you saved the tech instead of the house and Harvey's now basing himself in the charred remains of Wayne Manor.

And I guess Two-Face only uses the coin for when he's trying to decide whether to kill someone, rather then just for every decision he makes. Though as his psychosis progresses, it might get worse.

That was awesome! I love how most of it was a bunch of nerds shouting at each other. :D

However I have to say this is my least favorite episode of Batman Unmasked. The reason for that is there's a LOT of scenes in EP4 that they didn't discuss, which baffles me as EP4 was really short and they only managed to squeeze in the John Doe stuff. I would have loved for them to talk about the final fight with your best friend, investigating the Vale's murder and the revelation of Victoria Arkham & her backstory. Pretty disappointed but I still enjoyed it.

    SPOILERS FOR THE PREVIEW
I am so happy about this short flashback. This is obviously set in the save where you take down Oz. I'm pretty sure this scene is set in the burnt down Wayne Maynor. Please don't kill Deborah! Pretty sure I've got a crush on her. :D

I am really happy that we get one final chance to save Harvey. I'm gonna give it my all.

I'm thinking that if we took down Harvey in episode 4 then in this scene we'd get a flashback with Oz. If I'm right and we also get a chance to try and get through to Oz then I'm gonna find my self wishing I took down Harvey instead. Oz has been my favorite character ever since "You're ruining the moment!"

Overall I am really excited for episode 5.

EDIT: Was that a two headed coin? Harvey rigged it to do it that election!

EDIT 2: I just realized that Bruce has an ear piece in this scene, who could he be talking to?

That clip is giving me hope we might still be able to save Harvey.

I guess we'll get some kind of a flashback with Oz too if we saved the manor? That would be cool.

  • That clip doesn't apply to my save file, I hope that we get a scene in Arkham with Harvey.

Look at that beautiful thumbnail. I wonder who made that gorgeous work of art? Probably someone who is both intelligent and talented.

  • This episode answered my question about John Doe's mask wonderfully, though it was kind of a 'Duh!' moment for me. The pretending to be sane. Being the nice guy. Being your ally. But the cracks in the mask are glaring-- and I think the key symbolized that best of all.

Oh God. One final chance to redeem Harvey.

I'm gonna be a nervous wreck during that scene.

If I manage to save him, the entire neighbourhood will probably hear me scream "I BELIEVE IN HARVEY DENT" at the top of my lungs.

I wonder if our choice at the end of Episode 4 determines who gets redeemed and who becomes a full-fledged villain?

Save Wayne Manor = Harvey becomes Two-Face, Oz can still be redeemed

Save your Tech = Oz's role as The Penguin is sealed, Harvey can still be redeemed

If that ends up being the case, that'd be pretty neat.

  • edited December 2016

I'm sort of mixed on that to be honest. While I think its cool that you have the chance to redeem them, they should at least make it difficult, and not a walk in the park since you already had a chance in the previous episode.

  • While it would be more interesting if it were difficult, I've spent four whole episodes doing everything I possibly could to save Harvey. I'm so damn tired.

I just want it to be cleared up quickly, so everything can go back to normal.

My ideal scene would be the following:

Bruce: "Hey Harvey, I never fucked Selina. Why you gotta burn down my house, bro? Not cool, bro. Not cool. By the way, I'm Batman, the person you've spent weeks idolizing."

Harvey: "Holy shit, I'm so sorry, bro. I'll never attack you again, bro."

Bruce: "Wanna go out for some ice cream, bro?"

    Harvey: "You know it, bro."

I am taking a shot in the dark and say the thumbnail is inspired by this one. :)

EDIT: Because that is all I am thinking about when I look at Troy in the thumbnail. :D

  • I usually would agree with this, but there have been certain things I've noticed throughout my replay of the season that makes me believe there's a bit of hope for him, determinantly.

  • Ear piece is most likely Alfred, unless Catwoman agreed to help take down Harvey and Bruce is going as a distraction. Although doing that would basically confirm Bruce is Batman, unless Selina would yell "I am only here because I want to rob this rich man named Bruce Wayne who is not Batman!"

  • From that preview you can tell that's what happens when you stop Oz because the Monor is burnt down. Glad they showed what happens with the other choice now I can still go in pretty blind :) .

  • Poor Harvey : ( I'm sorry I burned your arm. But hey, at least your face is still handsome...

  • Could be a flashback to when they were kids, which would be pretty cool to see.

Hmmm. I've never, ever changed one of my decisions in a Telltale game before. It just gives me this weird feeling, because I find myself in the mindset that my original playthrough is cannon. However, after seeing that clip with Harvey, I think I'll go for it.

But damn, when Bruce stated that he's here to help his friend, I pretty much had a few spasms. That clip was just amazing, and yeah, it made me pretty darn emotional. Gawd, I hope I can help him I hope I can help him I hope I can help him I hope I can help him. So much pressure though. It seems that I made one slip up in episode four, but if I make one in episode five...? Sooooooo muuuuuuuch preeeeeesure.

All of my focus regarding Unmasked is targeted solely on that short clip. Harvey is love, Harvey is life. I will repent from scarring thy holy arm, and sentencing thy to thy depths of thy lost, by offering a compass through time.

I'm not quite sure how Harvey could get off of various of his actions with little consequence, but you bet I'll hunt for such. I don't doubt that Harvey can redeem himself, (I will always believe in Harvey Dent, and don't you forget it!) but how he can not receive some form of punishment. (I'm kind of using punishment loosely. Psychiatric help via Arkham is not meant as a punishment, but it sure isn't a treat. Yeah, not a good place.) I suppose him being drugged could play a hand, but compared to the actions of Bruce and Montoya while under the influence, his actions were much more large-scale and dire. Even if we could obtain Harvey's DNA from before the drugging and provide a personalized cure, he has issues outside of the drug that need to be dealt with. How will this all play out? Will I save my bro, or will I cry somewhere? Only a few days to find out!

    I BELIEVE IN HARVEY DENT

  • I'm torn on if I should replay all four just to do that.

  • Do it.

    Do it for Gotham.

    Do it for Harvey.

  • I really just don't know... Do I really want to waste 8 hours for a video game choice. I'm probably just gonna not do it.

Do it. Do it for Gotham. Do it for Harvey.

  • However, after seeing that clip with Harvey, I think I'll go for it.

Make sure that you don't replay the episode on your original save file. It'll wipe everything from every episode.
