  • Yes, I did. Bitch had it coming even though I never minded her killing her foster parents, they look like they deserved it.

  • I really liked that fight!

I honestly wanted to try to not to fight and try to just make her stop, but then she fucked up beautiful playboy ear.

Now Bruce is going around saying he cut his ear shaving. Like Bruce, you do know that is the worst excuse ever right? You have a VISIBLE missing chunk from your ear.

  • If I was Bruce, I would have said that I just got done fighting Mike Tyson.

  • Honestly more believable than shaving your ear and then yanking a chunk out.

  • Eh, what does he care? No one knew Batman got injured that way so it's not suspicious. He doesn't have to answer any questions about that that he doesn't want to and if he'd rather tell a ridiculous lie than say he doesn't want to talk about it then good for him. It's not like there's a reasonable and believable explanation for such an injury since he never reported Vicki attacking Bruce.

  • No. By that point i felt kind of bad for her.

  • I was expecting some rich kid excuse, like "I was practicing archery with Alfred and we had a little accident".

  • I mean Alfred could even have an excuse like, "Oh man silly old me fell and smashed my eye right on the corner of a table!" Bruce can't really explain it, but I guess it doesn't really matter, just "shaving" makes no sense. Like you said, he could have said something like "I was practing my bow and arrow skills or even "Damn that was one kinky sexual experience!"

  • :D This, would also have accepted "You mean you're not supposed to shave with a chainsaw?"

If I was Bruce, I would have said that I just got done fighting Mike Tyson.

  • Headcanon that he gives a new and even more ridiculous answer every time he's asked that question. At times he pretends he hasn't noticed the injury and needs people to draw his attention to it before he comically freaks out.

"I was going to get a piercing but something went wrong"

"Mutant rats. In the sewers. Jump at you and bite your ear off while you are in the shower, if you are not careful"

"Why yes, I was indeed using a chainsaw. What do you use to shave, Commissioner Gordon?"

Vicki pretty much used up the last of her sympathy points when she kidnapped and brutalized an old man who had nothing to do with the Vales or their crimes. It's really the same old story of the abused child eventually growing up to become the abuser in a never-ending cycle of cruelty and violence.

  • First off...TellTale made a boring character like Vicki important and sympathetic. I loved that last fight..in the end it came down to him being a better fighter. But her demise was due to her obsession. I did love that she had a picture of her adopted brother and her on an alter. This also leads me to wonder if he told Batman the truth about why he was under the stairs. She may have put him there and told him that she was going to make things right. People who do that to children...I wish it were make believe.

Any the fight was very satisfying.

I loved fighting her. Yeah when she kidnapped and brutalized Alfred was the time when I was like, she will be beaten down. In the end she had to be defeated in one way or another as she was totally crazy. She was going to poison an entire city, she let out inmates at Arkham and they were trying to kill the orderlies. She was beating up an old man and making Bruce watch it. Yeah, there was no redemption for her. The problem with her and Oz is that they try to push the sins of the father theory. That theory simply is false as Thomas and Bruce are not conjoined twins, they are two different people. Bruce is innocent of any wrong doing that his father did. That's like convicting an innocent man for crimes that he has never done and then throwing him in prison for life.

On a personal level, my father is terrible. He abandoned me at 11, was a terrible father, a drunk, a terrible husband to my mom, etc. I am nothing like him as I was raised by my mom's dad, my grandfather, and he was similar to Alfred. He was mean to my mom, I am loving and kind to my fiancé and I treat her like a queen. I am the exact opposite of him, so I do not believe in sins of the father.

  • I totally agree there on Vicki being made sympathetic. I actually felt for her at the end. Although, I do have my confusions as to why Lady Arkham went after Alfred in Wayne Manor if she didn't know Bruce was Batman all along, but it seemed like as she led him on a wild goose chase, she really just wanted Batman to see what hell she had gone through, and was hoping by the end that maybe her actions would seem justified. And just... The hurt and almost betrayal on Vicki's face when she finds out Bruce was Batman, it just felt so real. Fucking brilliantly done.

Also I'm totally hoping the Vales' adopted kid is Robin in Season 2.

  • I think she showed up to get Bruce but he wasn't home so she took Alfred to make Bruce suffer and try to lure Bruce out since even she thought maybe he cared about the man who raised him.

  • I don't want te kid to become Robin for 2 reasons.

    1. I personally don't like Robin at all
    2. Unless season 2 takes place a good amount in the future, I really don't want a 10 - 15 year old Robin

So there I was, eating one of Alfred's baller cucumber sandwiches, minding my own business, when suddenly Oz busts through my window riding one of Batman's drones like a surfboard. I know what you're thinking: Batman put that fucker in the hospital. I know, right? But there he was, in casts and bandages, comin' at me like a penguin on a bucket of fresh krill. Luckily my instincts are honed, so I jump kicked that sonofabitch clean off his ride. I looked over his twitching body and said, "Sorry, bruv," then finished my sandwich.

But how did I get the hole in my ear? The drone doesn't hold a razor very well it turns out

  • You don't want a 10-15 Y/O running around in colorful tights? Pffh weirdo.

  • Not sure I enjoyed beating her, but gotta say, that was hellova epic fight

  • From a choreography standpoint, the fight was insanely epic. I felt the gravity of each strategic maneuver, if that makes an iota of sense. The more personal way that emotions flared if you unmasked made each fling of the fist even better. I felt sympathy for Vicki though, so I wouldn't say that I enjoyed attacking and presumably killing her. I wish things didn't conclude with death from an emotional standpoint, but the fight and her subsequent death was pretty much perfect in my opinion. It held so much weight. This definitely has to be one of Telltale's strongest fights, if not the best. I haven't played everything, so I won't dare make such a bold statement. It was so epic!

  • Her death was fitting were she let her obsession over her idea of justice control her. Vicki, as most villains, do not see themselves as bad people. I would even bet that in Joker's mind, he's a hero. Most villains are narcissistic and have sociopath tendencies and Vale shows us this time and time again. It also didn't help that she was brutalized and tortured as a child. I felt sorry for her and yet she had to die in the end. She definitely was insane by all of the things that she had done. On one hand she hopes that Batman will join her cause to defeat the Wayne legacy. She brags on Batman and then when he takes off the mask, she is in utter disbelief. Then she reasons that Batman isn't such a good guy after all, again showing narcissistic tendencies of "I'm never wrong, I'm always right."

  • I definitely feel that her death was fitting. So fitting, in fact, that I would never wish for any of it to change. It left a fairly significant impact on me, and from what I've heard, many other players. With seeing how well it was executed, I almost deem it completely necessary from a narrative perspective. Still, from a plot-detached viewpoint, I don't think that things had to end with her passing.

Some of her actions were truly evil, but I don't think of her that way. I don't ever like to think of anyone as solely "good" or "evil." Because of all of the terrible events she endured, from her parent's bloody end to her horrendous abuse, her perception became warped. The problems in the system were real, and she was totally in the right to want to make reforms. However, her fixations were unhealthy and due to these obsessions, her judgement became greatly compromised.

If she had only had someone to guide and love her, maybe she could have strayed from this dark path. Not everyone is blessed with an Alfred. If she had received help of any kind, maybe things wouldn't have gone so badly. Her and Bruce/Batman both wanted to stamp out corruption, due to the unjust deaths of their parents. If Vicki had landed on Bruce's more "privileged" side, with his many benefits, including the aid of a loved one, who would she have become? And if Bruce was put in Vicki's situation, left with no guidance and still maintaining his fixation on ending what cost his parents their lives, where would he have ended up? There are just so many "ifs". Everything could have just been so different.

I'm sorry if I'm not putting this as eloquently as possible. I'm rushing at the moment. In advance, if I receive any responses, it will be awhile before I can respond. I'm not ignoring anyone.

Yes, beating women is a regular thing for some cultures/families. Not mine.

  • No. I thought she could've at least changed A BIT but NOPE. She was hellbent on destroying the Wayne legacy.

I also tried not giving her quotes and things like that because that could normally spell bad news. (No pun intended)

  • Well she's also a psychotic terrorist
