Is it me or the game has a lot of similarities with the Dark Knight?

Bruce Wayne looks a lot with Christian Bale
The costume looks a lot like the one that Batman wear in the movie
The Joker gives me Heath Ledger's joker vibes
Even the music reminds me of hans Zimmer Original Soundtrack
Also at the end of Episode 5 the bus trying to kill Bruce Wayne reminded me of the scene at the beginning of the Dark Knight...

  • Probably just you. These comparisons feel really forced to me. This is the most unique Batman story I've ever seen.

  • No.
I'd say more like the one from AO.
    No.
    Dunno.
    No.

    Story of Harvey Dent.

  • Only real similarities for me would be the music and that so far the universe is grounded in realism, no supernatural people yet.

What about blue Frankenstein or invisible man from AA? Are they realistic? And Joker? I suppose he's not dying his hair green.

  • Some similarities are inevitable. They are both Batman adaptations.

  • Blockbuster's origin involves drugs though, invisible man is a glitch and I'm assuming Joker fell in the chems.

  • The Joker was most similar to Jack Nicholson's Joker. It almost sounded like an impression at some points with Nicholson's very distinct way of drawing out words. The older "prototype" suit made me think of the 60's Batman series. The only thing that made me think of the dark knight oddly enough was the batmobile even though they don't look especially similar it did have more of the tank like qualities that you saw in the dark knight compared to the sleak look of the 90's films or the cadilac look of the 60's version. So no I don't see many similarities to the dark knight. Perhaps people just relate it to the Batman they are most familiar to.
