Please do not make Joker the main villain in season 2.
I was quite disappointed Joked didn't get a bigger part this season. Still, I do not want to see him as the main villain of the next season. It would be so much more interesting to have him be on the sidelines. A real joker or wild card. Over the course of the season, he could slowly become more prone to violence. He'd need to do more and more extreme things to satisfy his insanity.
If they make Joker the main villain, it will be harder to make him layered and interesting.

Too late.
Why, Vicki was the main villain of Season 1 and she was layered and interesting, and they only had a couple of episodes really dedicated to that, I'm pretty sure Telltale can do it for a whole season with The Joker.
Joker is already showing that he is violent like when he was hitting the cell door, stabbed Zsas, and it would appear that he sent the guy to try and run over Bruce/Gordon.
I dont want Joker to be the only villain, but he is going to most likely be the main one.
I'm sure that they can make the Joker a great antagonist. In Arkham, we saw him layering on that affable charm of his, as he tried to present himself as someone relatively sane. Anthony Ingruber was doing a fantastic job allowing us to see the cracks in John Doe's performance, one unsettling chortle and ominous line at a time. In Season 2, it's not unlikely that he'll give a layered performance that adds to the Joker's character. I feel that he can really pull of that deranged charisma element here. Along with the Joker fully revealing and adopting his chaotic and sinister nature, I'm sure we'll get to see some interesting characterization. His presence will likely be a driving force in the story, with him as the Big Bad, but I'm sure he'll be just one piece of the narrative puzzle. There will be other antagonists to flow with whatever overarching themes they'll push next season.
I mean, they managed to make Vicki Vale, a character who I found alright enough, but a little dry compared to the rest of the cast, an insanely intriguing and multi-faceted character more than halfway through their narrative. I'm hopeful.
She could have been layered - except they barely explored her character whatsoever. Despite her being the main antagonist. Two-Face was layered. Cats was layered.
So you find Harvey/Two-Face more interesting than Vicki?
Then again they had five whole episodes with Oz in it and he wasn't very interesting in the end.
And they had 5 whole episodes with Harvey in it and he was XD
So I guess it's a coin flip then.
I would have to disagree. He's already shown plenty signs of his insanity already. And we all know that Joker already sent someone to kill Bruce/Batman and Gordon.
Two-Face was the most interesting character in the game.
Fixed that for you.
I'd be pissed if they didn't tbh
Blasphemy ! A season 2 has to happen, but we are going to wait for a long while.
Well season 2 is a good ways off and most likely even if joker is the main villain there will be other main/supporting villains.
Ugh! I hope not. He's overdone at this point. He's the main villain of almost every Batman medium
What we do know about season 2 is that it will take place right after season 1, a few weeks after at most. Joker is already setting his plan in motion (the attempted assasination).
I want them to have several main villains running independent capers where Batman has to multitask and choose who to stop on occassion, leaving consequences. But generally, I enjoyed TT's unique perspective on Batman. Making Bruce's dad a total scumbag, etc. And their treatment of Penguin was very good. Since back to The Dark Knight Rises, I thought Penguin should be used in that sort of way. A terrorist who figures out a way to take over Wayne Enterprises. I wanted to hire Phillip Seymour Hoffman for it and then they crapped the bed with Bane. How bizarre would it have been for Phillip to do it and then die of a drug overdose, as he did? That'd make two actors dying of drug overdose after filming Batman.
