Naruto live action movie

So apparently Lionsgate is making a live action naruto movie In the future. Do you think it'll be good? Personally I feel naruto is done and over with without a cash grab movie added

  • Some things should be left untouched. Its a stupid..stupid...stupid..idea. .

  • You mean the same as they're doing a FMA live action. I'll pass, only LA i've slightly enjoyed was a Death Note movie that I watched with my dad when I was younger

  • We all know what happens when Fantasy or Scifi anime get live actions. They either get a western Studio to make it, with a retard high budget, or they get a Japanese studio to make it, with a retard low budget. Even if it is say a Western Studio with a high budget, it's still likely not going to be good. OR, like what Disney does, rips it off 95% than claim it has nothing to do with the anime. Coughs

I expect something as bad as the Dragonball movie to be honest. Naruto is the same kind of low expectation production, so it will likely get low resources. I mean people said the Dragonball movie was bad. They never saw the Gundam Live Action film G Saviour, makes all Live Action anime films look good.

Oddly it seems the more popular it is the worse the budget is for an anime live action often, as they know they don't have to throw as much resources into it to get ticket sales. Oh the horror.

  • Hopefully it won't be directed by M Night Shyamalan.

  • lol love this comment

Hopefully it won't be directed by M Night Shyamalan.

  • In my experience, live-action adaption of anime and video games doesn't have a good track record.

But who knows, you gotta keep trying until you succeed. :)

  • I'm not really sure how well this will do. It needs to have the same feel as Naruto -- the world, the abilities, the characters, they all need to be right to be all right. They can make a variant of the story sure, go ahead but they must also respect the source material as well, make them believable. Make me say "Yup, that's Naruto Uzumaki I know!".
