And I have one of the two possible endings where Kenny could still be alive out there somewhere, so I can find some solace in that. Unless we run into him again in episode 4, and he promptly gets hit by an out-of-control bus that's on fire.
Man, seeing you defending S3 reminds me of how I try to defend S2. From one to another, I can feel your pain. This forum has gotten under my… more skin on occasion for the same reasons. Sometimes it feels like an uphill battle, sticking up for something you like, when everyone else doesn't really seem to.
I'll say this. I have my problems with the way S3 has been handled. And I'm feeling conflicted at best. Part of me is pissed. Part of me even feels a bit betrayed. I won't lie about that. But I can still see potential shining through the cracks.
I don't hate S3, but I'm not particularly liking it too heavily at the moment, either. But I'm trying to stay as positive as I can about all of it. Truth be told, I think if I didn't watch the Kenny/Jane endings, I probably would've been a lot happier with how things turned out. I'm more or less fine with how the Wellington ending turned out. It was over a bit too fast, but hey, at least I didn't hav… [view original content]
People hated it because it sucked. Kenny's death sucked, Jane's death sucked, the length of the episodes sucked, most of the characters suck and are inferior to those in season 1 and 2. And no offence man but for someone who constantly told us how an awesome and deep Walking Dead legend like Kenny sucked and was constantly dragging the series down years after season 2, for you to have a problem with people pointing out the suckfest in season 3 fresh when it is happening is laughable.

Telltale will remember that

wdfan...your well thought out and cognitive arguments do little to sway me. ie...try better at trolling. Now I had issues with Kenny...but I did have a change of heart a few weeks back. But be that as it may...my issues with him have no bearing on what I posted. I fear that you sir or ma'am as the case may be, saw my wall of words and decided to skim rather than to read. I agree about the length of the episodes...but no sir, the characters do not as you so vividly paint it...suck. The characters in this season are getting attention the way they should have given the cabin group in s2. I also feel that from a story perspective, TellTale is keeping things tighter and not giving in to second guessing themselves.
Now I am sorry if I did cause you irreparable harm in my Kenny posts...but I have always pointed out that Kenny was amazing in S1...I do think his inclusion hurt S2. But now we are in S3 and we have new characters. You may hate all you want, that is your option, though I feel it is foolish to pass judgement before the entire bloody tale is told as a story is a sum of many parts.

Agree about the models! God, I really want Telltale to fix them SO BAD OMG, like I can't watch the Kenny/Jane/Wellington endings without thinking about how bad they look! Kenny is one of the most important characters in the first 2 seasons: give him a model that won't make me cringe, omg! And Jane's model looked okay from certain angles, but just awful from other angles. Yikes. The Kenny ending made me tear up, while the Jane ending shocked the hell out of me. When Jane said she wasn't feeling well, I thought she had gotten bit, and that she had shot herself or tied herself up to safely turn into a walker when Clem entered the room. I feel like that would have been a better way to kill of Jane, lol, but that's my only criticism.
I'm so curious about AJ. If he's still alive (which he better be! what a cute little goofball), he's probably in Richmond, which could be a huge part of the reason why Clem visibly panicked (and took some very deep breaths) when Jesus said that Richmond had been taken over by the New Frontier. Clem could have thought that AJ would be safer there than constantly being with her on the run from the New Frontier. Telltale pls don't kill AJ off I'm waiting for that climactic moment where AJ finally says his first word and Clem gets emotional
Clem giggling a little during (I believe?) that scene with Javi in the makeshift little prison cell Tripp put them in watered my crops, cleared my skin, made my year, etc. etc. etc. in fact, Clem was just so emotive in these 2 episodes alone. Her visible fear at Richmond being taken over. Her interactions with AJ (THE HUMMING!). The goddamn scene where the car door wrecked her finger (ouch).
I apologise for the Kenny comment man but it's just kinda funny to me that you have a problem with the forum as it is now when you gave it to Kenny for so long in a similar way that people are giving it to season 3 now
Now as for my arguements, the problem for me is that their are no arguements to be had. The episodes are shorter than season 1 - that's bad and gives characters less time to develop and there is no 2 ways about it for me.
The limited interaction compared to season 1 and to a lesser degree season 2 have made it harder to form any natural bonds with the characters - again no 2 ways about it for me.
You claim that the writing in Kenny and Jane's deaths were fine and it's the players with the problem - this for me just isn't true. You don't give cheap 5 minute deaths to characters as popular as Kenny and Jane. Kenny dying in a random driving lesson is definitely a problem with writing rather than the players. Again there is no real counter argument to be had for me. Jane's death was just as bad.

I wish he did.
Honestly the forums become super divided since s3 premiered. Reminds me of the Kenny vs Jane days.

Quite frankly, if that did happen, I'd probably be busy laughing too hard to even be mad about it
Just imagine Clementine runs into Kenny and it's like
And he's just sent 50 feet across the map like a ragdoll
So OP stating his opinion is laughable?
And the hits just keep on coming. lol
