Javis reaction to SPOILERS death a little....underwhelming?

Marianas death. His blood niece.
I have a niece who is 11 years old, and if i saw her get gunned down like that right in front of me, id be a complete mess, both directly after the incident then a long timee after it. I was hoping Javi would cry more while burying her, so much so that clem has to take over. I know a niece and nephew aint the same as a son and daughter, but afterr 4 years of hell on earth, youd think the bond would get strong, and shee was just so sweet too.
what do you think? was Javi sad enuff for you?

I thought about it too, but if you choose certain dialogues you can make him care a lot, but since that moment was not a good moment to cry
-- If you really want him to care, you should stay with Clem, that way you can bury her, and hell... that scene is very sad, specially if you choose the option "You deserved more", and how he says "You were like a daughter to me".
Then there is a lot of dialogues about her in Presscott, when Clem reveals you she is from the New Frontier, and when you try to enter Richmond she is mentioned a lot.
The one that should cry more is Kate, yeah she had a bullet in her stomach but it was her own "daughter" the one that died, yet she is not really crying (Though running at her body stupidly was cute)
Gabe... "cared", not as much as I would like him to, but if you go back to Prescott with Tripp he is crying in the car, and outside of the door there is certain dialogues that makes him angry and he blames you for Mari's death. Also her dying is changing his personality.

I still don't understand her character, she was presented as the "brain" of the team, "she know what to do in every situation" "I am alive because of Kate, she did most of the work", yet, she smokes weed like a teenager, couldn't protect Mariana from the horde, took a bullet like an idiot, while your character is worried like hell she is just in the car thinking about jokes.
And the whole "this is my chance for my exit", does she want to die?
I like her being humorous and all, it makes a good team with Javi, but her wanting to cheat on her recent husband with Javi before the zombie apocalypse.
MAKE IT CLEAR TTG.
