Kenny needed to die..
Think about it...if Kenny were alive...we would have him and Tripp and Jesus. It is a scientific fact that the universe cannot contain the power of those 3 being in the same area at once. He died so that we may live.

He left his mark on the world...and that highway.
I'm not saying he shouldn't have been involved in Season 3. I'm just saying his death wasn't deserved. He was no bad guy.
I work in a hospital...I see people all the time who do not deserve death but they get it. Perhaps it does color my view on character deaths, but no one deserves death...it just happens...to good and the bad.
Uh... nothing else to say
Stop.
Kenny died AGAIN so he could forgive the sins of the people who chose to stick with Jane anyways. Pray with me:
Our Father, Who art in Wellington, Kenneth be thy name. Thy saltlick come, Thy will be done in Howe's as it is in Savannah.
Give us this day our daily boat, and forgive us our shitbirdness, as we forgive those who shitbird against us, and lead us not into the Jane Ending, but deliver us from Lilly.
For Thine is saltlick, and the urban ,and the moustache, for ever, and ever, Amen.

Sorry, that got dark.
Tripp is Kenny reincarnated.
I just like to imagine Kenny survived, dyed his hair blond, and started calling himself Tripp
S3 = fixed
...You just ruined Tripp for me.
That, sir, will not stand.
I like to imagine that what I said above was not actually me, but an impostor that I promptly beat up
Your opinion of Tripp = fixed
...You just ruined Deltino for me.
That, sir, will not stand.
Agreed on the realistic basis that he's had more than the lion's share of screentime and focus.

The reason it's good Kenny died is because Telltale would have just recycled the same Kenny formula from the past 2 seasons. He always has to have a power struggle conflict with a character and has to go through the "I miss my family" phase to the "I lost my will to live" phase to the "I found a new reason to live" phase and round and round we go. I just found it wasteful that Kenny's entire duration in S2 was just him in S1 rehashed 97% and giving him more screentime and plot focus than was needed.
"I outta punch your fucking lights out"
And causing the arguably already struggling Luke, Carver, and Jane to be shoehorned into being his rivals, while Nick, Carlos, and Sarita (and debatably Mike) got the short end of the stick to give more prominence than he probably needed.
Now that I saw how they died, I kinda wished they handled season 2 or 1 different. Maybe Kenny should have died saving Ben or Season 2 forced us to either have Jane or Kenny alive and we would be together or something in new frontier. It's not that they need to be alive. It would have completed their story better I think, but yeah can't change that. Those 5 minutes and not logical flashbacks though
Kenny should've died at the end of S1. It made absolutely no sense for him to be alive in S2 and it was the same recycled plot for him
I never really saw reviews or analyzing about that scene. Does it really make no sense for him to be alive ? For me the it looked like there was no way out of there and the zombies were already fighting with Kenny I think ? and from both sides they were already too close. There was also that scene with Christa I think, but not everyone can have that scene.
I still got really emotional after seeing Kenny at the lodge
:O
Is this proof that there will be no season 4???
Kenny dies every season.... That's the rules.... There's no way he can die in Season 4....
I would kill Tripp and Jesus 1000 times over if it brought Kenny back. -.-
Obviously joking. You just ruined this thread for me.
That, sir, will not stand.

It certainly was a feel good moment seeing him in S2 But it was all downhill after that
Tripp was Kenny's last name
You ruined that meme for me.
That, sir, will not stand.
youre going to get banned from posting this everywhere, i hope you know
Yeah, pretty much.
He was determinant, it was only a matter of time especially with a third season and a new main character. At least he and Jane could still be alive if you left them or in the stay in Wellington ending. That's something, I guess.
He is only unknown in the Wellington ending so it is possible for him to die in Season 4
I think it's understandable Telltale wanting to kill Kenny in Season 3. It's just the way they did it is...disrespectfull and stupid. After the sh1t we've been through in the first 2 seasons killing him in a car accident is kinda stupid, it should've been epic like "fighting a thousand walkers alone" type of epic, y'know.
