Why Kenny doesn't return to Wellington after we left him ?

Hi,
If we choose to stay with Kenny, Edith tells us to stay in the area for a few months and that later they will accept people.
When we chooses to leave Kenny and enter Wellington, why is this idiot of Edith not telling Kenny that they will accept people later ?
If Edith would have said it to Kenny, no last goodbye, he would surely have stayed in the area and he would have come back from time to time to take news from Clementine and AJ, and asking Clementine if she feels well here, and see at the same time if he could join Wellington community.
In the flashback of Wellington, AJ grew up, and Clementine does not seem to have seen again Kenny, or even in front of Wellington gate's ?!
Kenny could have come to take news of Clem and AJ. Why did not Kenny come back ?
When Kenny leaves us he takes the bag of supplies for him alone, I don't think he committed suicide. And I do not think he would have gone to Florida, he leaves us in Wellington, without knowing if it is a good community ?! After Carver and all the people who betrayed us during our adventures ?
I know if it happened like that this would be much less emotional.
But I find it bizarre that we do not see him again.
Why Kenny doesn't return to Wellington after we left him (except for the scenario and emotion), a good reason for that ?
I do not think he was killed. If we chooses to be alone, Clementine manages to survive alone with AJ.
What do you think would have happened if Edith had told her ?
Because in place of Clementine, I would really don't liked to know that they would accept people some time later.
I would feel so bad, I would have the impression of having abandoned Kenny when it was not obligatory, after having lived all adventures with him we finish like that ?
The fault to Edith ! We could have finished like a family. After all Kenny has done for us, it's sad.
I prefer not to enter Wellington and stay with Kenny, in the flashback with Kenny, they are all happy in the car.
Even if Kenny dies, he does not die alone somewhere without knowing what is going on. I prefer that it dies with us that alone.
Since AJ has grow up, they have had a lot of a good times in family. It seems to be the best choice for me.
Why they did not stay around of Wellington for the chance to join the community later, and take the risk to go to Florida ?
I think Wellington would have accepted them at one time or another, especially Kenny is with the children. (« We give you two bags of supplies but we let you die. »)
And if they have a problem I think Wellington will help them even if they have not yet joined the community (for example if they are injured, if they really lacks food for the children or otherwise, and in the worst case if something happens to Kenny Wellington takes the children).
By going to Florida they have an accident and Clementine is alone outside with AJ. I know they could not have foreseen that its going on like this, but they had to think about the risks of doing a long travel.
I am not sure, I don't know what is the best, what do you think ?

Maybe he died.![:/ :/](https://community.telltalegames.com/resources/emoji/confused.png)
^in a car crash probably.
I don't know... He always wanted a boat. Maybe he found one and it capsized...
Hold on a moment - You're criticising the game now for not showing us how chock-ful of people in Wellington there are when they're being ambushed and shot at?
Edith said that, and it was true, there was at least a good year before she mentions people being "sick and starving", meaning a lot of people have probably died. And now that they're being shot at by a completely dominant group, you're now questioning how there weren't more people escaping when they're being killed?
Seems like people are gonna criticise Season 3 for anything
...maybe a car fell off a bridge he was passing under, and crashed into the boat?
Thanks for dragging words out of my mouth![:D :D](https://community.telltalegames.com/resources/emoji/lol.png)
Please point me as to when I say "lol how dare you crtique Season 3" I was merely saying that you can't say "Yeah Wellington is super popular and pack filled after 1 year of starvation and sickness in a cold environment" (so little hunting and being sick would be a concern) "when they're being killed/shot at." Also how would Kenny even know about Wellington's populace? What if he died trying to get back?
I don't see why we have to see the majority of people in Wellington if the point of the scene is to show what happened to Wellington (it was attacked) and Clementine escaping (which she did, with AJ).
It's a shame, I gotta love it when the only thing you can say back is "Well you can't complain about me complaining" when I literally said you complaining was anything bad, just I don't see your point. But whatever, call me pretentious, I'm sure that's a great way to have discussion on the forums
Ok, admit for sick and starvation.
Choose Wellington :
Edith : « Your community beginning to sick and starving. »
Kenny : « Nice, it's good news for you kids, this is your last chance to be safe AJ and you Clem. »
Kenny : « I leave you here, in this unknown community. And I would not come back in a few days for see if AJ and you are fine, after all that i did for you I don't care. »
Kenny : « Clem, you didn't lose enough people around you, so I'm going away without looking behind and I never come back. »
Maybe at this moment Kenny thought it better for children in Wellington than stay outdoor in cold.
I know he can not know but if we choose to stay with Kenny, they are doing very well.
Kenny know Wellington beginning to sick and starving, and as i said, Kenny leaves us without knowing if it is a good community, after Carver and all the people who betrayed us during our adventures.
And Wellington are starting to run out of food, its risk of being disorder or making conflicts.
So the fact that he did a last goodbye and does not intend come back to us for take a news of AJ and Clem, I do not understand it's nonsense for me.
Choose stay with Kenny :
Edith say to Kenny Wellington beginning to sick and starving.
Kenny, Clem and AJ have two bags of supplies.
Stay in a cold place until they are accepted in Wellington, and finally they are not sure to get accepted into Wellington knowing that they sick and starving.
Difficult to keep hope. And if winter come it will be hard.
It's maybe because of this they decide to leave and going to Florida.
Probably the best choice, I do not see problem with this end it is coherent for me, they have a plan, they stays in family, they are fine and they are happy.
(Except during their travel on the road they encounter the scenarium script which commits the car crash.)
How wellington was handled no matter how you look at it was just poorly done and only collapsed because the writers wanted it to.
I mean if he did, then we'd just be rewarded with him being shot in the back of the head as we run away.
Probably but they could have done a gameplay scene in Wellington.
We could have seen how the city was, and the slaughter of people of the community.
For example, when we leave the home we cross the streets to reach the gate of Wellington.
In the streets Kenny covers Clem and AJ, arrived at the gate there is a shooting.
A guy with an AK fire a burst, Clem is hit on the cheek, Kenny is hit to the body and falls.
Clem or Kenny shoot the guy, Clem wants to help Kenny, but other bandits come.
Kenny tells Clem to leave him and go away with AJ, Kenny stays at the door, and saves us time while Clem runs to the forest.
And even without Kenny, with Edith we see nothing.
Currently we see of Wellington that it is a big wall, with a crane, a smoke and we see only inside of the Clem's home.
It's an example, this is not really a good idea, but it's just I don't see any good reason why Kenny at the end of season 2, he leave Clem and AJ at Wellington without being sure that it is a good community and say a last goodbye. He just had to come back a few days later to take news from Clem.
Meantime, Clem can telling the adventures they have lived at the community of Wellington. Talk to them about Kenny, that he has done everything to protect those he loves, it's a good man and he can be useful for Wellington. And Edith saw well that he did not hesitate to stay outside for Clem and AJ can enter to safe in Wellington. (Even Edith was sad that Kenny left us.)
Clem lost her parents, Lee, all friends. Kenny is the last person we have with AJ, and we are a family, it is sacrificed for us.
For only one an additional person who joins the community, please, do not let him die outside, after all that we have lived, and all the sufferings we endured, do not separate us at the end like this.
If after that Wellington refuses... Well, I leave that « community » and I rejoin Kenny outside, let's go to Florida.
Leaving Kenny for Wellington and never see him again, for me this end is invalid.
Maybe the kraken reached from the sea and bitch slapped Kenny into the deep blue...
Thus, this thread...
